A few of us have been chatting about how difficult we find weekends.  Our problems range from not drinking enough water to simply not logging on to CC at the weekend.  Other favourites include not exercising, drinking too much alcohol and not exactly staying on track food-wise!  I'm pretty sure I've stayed away from CC at weekends because I knew my "friends" would kick my butt, get me moving and help me stay on track and I didn't REALLY want to!

If any of this sounds familiar, then come and join us.  I'm committing to logging on more at weekends, in order to stay focussed but I need people to chat with - interested?

And if you have any bright ideas on how to stay on track at weekends, then please post them here - otherwise, chat to you at the weekend!

Every now & then I get the feeling that DH and I are letting life pass us by too much. With the house, church and kid obligations, we forget to seek out the fun stuff. I'm trying to think of something for us to do this weekend. It's complicated by our cash flow & terribly hot humid weather. I'm thinking perhaps a visit to the PSU art museum might be a good choice. It's free, air conditioned and we've never been there together. We could splurge and hit the PSU creamery down the street too...but that MAY be at cross purposes with what I'm trying to accomplish here, eh?

get a SMALL yogurt.  YUM   -- budget for it like you did the lasagna.  ( :
I too am feeling like I am spinning my wheels a little......  Having a hard time.   I miss the old days....

Have fun at the museum!
CHallenge for the weekend:

at least 64 oz water
at least 30 min physical activity
one post here

WE CAN DO IT!

physicla activity was barely 30 mins today (ETA: stupid me, i harvested berries in the garden for about 20 mins, so it is maybe 50 mins. so yessssss), but walked a lot yesterday and plan to walk more on sunday. came back from family visit, plan to see some friends on sunday after having a goood sleep (now am at job2, having a big cup of coffee. yesterday and today i did stick to 1200 cals, hooray)

Well, here's one thing off the challenge list.

Didn't make it to the museum, DH's back was acting up. Doing OK otherwise although I could have skipped the homemade ice cream last night. Still under 1400 cals so not too bad for a Saturday. I'll try to do better today though. (IC is gone so that darn little voice calling from the freezer should be quiet!)

Hope you're all doing great this weekend!

so it is upon us again!!!!!

and it is my anniversary, so while I am going to try to be good, I am not going to stress because life is too short!!!!!

: D   too bad planning fun stuff and scrapbooking does not burn cals.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE WEEKEND????

have a great anniversary olivia!

i do not fear weekends any more now, it sort of got better:) going to visit a friend, she just wrote me she bought veggies, cream cheese and diet coke (she is trying to lose weight herself, but she is not counting-she is more into sensible guesstimates and regular exercise:), so i am very much looking forward to the girly evening without any guilt oved chips and our other usual fare:-)

also i am 195.77 lbs today:) woo hoo, the weight is! going!! down!!

Yeah, I'm not afraid anymore either. But I know I need to be vigilant too!

WOO HOO HAPPY DANCING WITH KA!!!!!!!!!!  rock on, sister!!!!   X D

Vigilant -- a good word for what I need to be on weekends......

Here's the the usual challenge ---  30 minutes of moving this weekend, 2 fruits and veggies and at least 64 oz of water, girls!!!!

XOXOXOXOX

challenge is ok re: water (drank a lot during the night shift from sat to sunday). walked about 65 mins yesterday, and as soon as i feel like heading out (just woke up after having a nic,e undisturbed after-nightshift sleep) i plan about 2 hours of walking today (being very motivated as the weight still heads down... i have expectd it to rise again after the quick drop a few days ago, but it apparently decided it will want to go on, so i have to go on, too!:)

great attitude!!!  and you are right!

EDIT TO ADD:  despite not wanting to, I jogged and biked already this morning.

It really does help me to "report" to you girls-----  keeps more accountable.    ( :

Wish I could have logged on to get all this great inspiration over the weekend. I didn't really do so hot...not AWEFUL...but definitely a step backwards. I'll put a reminder on my computer to check back here on Friday so I can be better prepared for next weekend!

YAY!!

I rocked out the challenge this weekend, but then of course, am taking the day off from cardio because my knee is killing.

Oh -- also got all my veggies/fruit and water.   ( :
Hi ladies!

It is here again!

I know I am going to splurge and have Chinese tonight with J and some friends.  I already biked for 550 cals and did Bowflex arms -- will probably do that again today.   I am drinking tons of water.   I will be slightly sad tomorrow when my Saturday weigh in is a little higher, but that;s ok.  This is life.

My big plans for the weekend include bowling with J and my parents, go through my closets and pull out only school clothes and try on and make sure I love it all because otherwise I am not wearing it.  That means I will have maybe 4 pairs of pants, a few skirts and a bunch of tops, but GOSH.  I am looking hot.  I cannot be wearing baggy, crappy fitting clothes.   I realized yesterday I have a real bicep and a tricep.  I have a cut on the sides of my waist I never noticed before.  I have a shape to my butt that used to be flat as a pancake.  I have calf muscles.  (blush--I actually took a picture of my guns.)   ( :

Oh, and some house cleaning, I guess.  lol
ANyone out there????   (***echo***)

anyway....    I got my closet cleaned out, I am getting ready to go jog and then bike, and THEN weigh in.   I did have Chinese and drank a bit too much last night, but we had fun and it was worth it.

Plan to mow the yard on top of all that.   woo --  hope you are having a good one!

here, on job2, ie for 5 more hours today. enjoying the day

thanks, ka!   ( :    I can always count on you.    xoxox

hehe.

having a good weekend?

*THUD*

*falls off the wagon*

*moans*

who said i need to buy the 500 grams yogurt and 3 tubs of houmous when i KNOW what usually happens when i get more than one?
