how much am i supposed to vary the cals by? i'm kinda goin at this blindly
ok today for lunch i bought one of those cooked chickens from safeway and estimated how much was there. i just cut up the same amount that i had for lunch and i totally overestimated how much i had there! so i'm actually only over my normal cals by 130 cals instead of 300! i dont know if i should eat a little more or what. grrrr

The 270 you have me down for is fine, so add 45 to that for my weekly.  Thanks!

KT-when I zigzagg, I go up about 200 more than my usual cals and the next day I'll go down by about 100-200.  Of course, none of these numbers are exact but I try to do that range.  A couple times I went over by 400 (because of my card night w/friends) and the next I stayed at my normal level, on the third day my weight dropped by a couple pounds.  I'm not saying this timetable will work exactly for you but that's how I do it.  I hope the info works.  PS, congrats on your 1#.  Sounds like you didn't even notice.  Love IT!!!  :)

VK-thanks for the info! That's kinda hwat I was thinking but I really have no clue!

I'm also really nervous about getting into my training schedule for the tri b/c I'm going to have to eat more so it's going to be hard to gauge how many cals i should be at. If I went by the numbers on here I'd be eating like 1600 cals a day to lose but I don't think that's right. We'll see i guess!

Memo: Teams I have noticed that ALOT of people have not posted there weight  loss, so for just this week only I am giving those who have not posted a weight loss until Sunday to do so. If there are people on your team who have not checked in at all, please remove them from your team list and inform me of who they are.

But if there are some who have checked in at least once please send the an email reminding them that they need to weigh in. IF they have not weighed in by 5 p.m pacific time then remove them from your team list and inform me of who they are.  I will officially have the winners of the challenge posted by 8 p.m pacific time at the very latest!
i did very good today. Hit 1303 cals. After dinner I had cals left for popcorn, wine, and the hostess 100 cal pack! So yesterday was around 1450 cals, today 1300 cals, and tomorrow i'll go for around 1500 cals. See how that goes. Maybe by monday, which is usually my weigh in, i'll see a loss.
