| Jan 22 2007 17:59 | ||

| Thanks everyone. Although, I wish I would have looked at this before lunch. I totally ate way too much again. It may have helped keep me on my good track. Ya right! I'll have to work my butt off just to maintain for next week! Keep on working hard everyone! These are the hardest pounds to lose. We can do it! | ||

UGH I dont understand why my weight won't budge again. I upped my calories and lowered my exercise so I didnt go to starvation with the net calories. Maybe my body's still trying to get used to it?
The past several days I've been doing 5-600 calories of exercise and eating 1700 calories a day. I find this really frustrating. I took the day off exercise and ate 1350 calories. I hope my weight budges a little by tommorow. |

Remember, everyone, weigh-in tomorrow.
Alex, don't feel bad, you are tall--imagine me, 5'3 and 140 lbs! I am on steroid treatment right now to treat a chronic illness and you know what that does to your appetite! Liz |

| I would like to join in on this with you guys if you don't mind. I'm 5' 2.5" and this morning weighed in at a whopping 136-which sucks since I've been busting my butt doing cardio 3-6x/week and working with a trainer lifting 1x/wk and a 2nd time on my own. When I started this routine 4 weeks ago I weighed 133. Needless to say I'm getting very very frustrated. I tend to binge about 1x/week, but even then it's only around 2000-2200. I usually stay around 1400 or so per day. When I do cardio I've been burning anywhere from 400-650 cal according to my heart rate monitor. Anybody have any advice? | ||

Deb, is it possible that since you've been doing more weight training, that you've simply put on muscle weight?
I started with a personal trainer last yr in October 2005, and about 6 months into it (strength training 3x/week) I had gained about 4 lbs of muscle (based on all the tests they did for me..) Now..if I could only use that excuse this yr for those extra few lbs that pushed me up to 131...hmmm So hang in there, and see what happens! |

Last Week: 136.4
Past 3 Days: 137.8 I don't get it. Maybe it's muscle. I don't know. I havent eaten over 1800 calories any day and 6/7 days I worked out. I hate this. My goal is 130, I feel like I'll never get there. I guess dont inclued this in my week weigh-in, I'll see what I'm at next week. |

| hi. I'm new here. same story as almost everyone here- I'm 132 now and feel like whenever I'm in the 130s I obsess over my weight until I hit that magic 2 number. My goal right now is not to just lose a few pounds for a week, but to actually get down to 120-125 and KEEP it off. Right now I'm in college and I actually managed to lose a lot of weight my about 2 yrs ago (about 10 lbs) but lately maintaining that has kind of been nonexistent. I'm mostly afraid that if I dont do it now (lose the weight) then I'll be right back where I started. I'm so glad that this topic is here!! It's not like I'm overweight now at all, so a lot of people dont understand why I want to lose weight; they think I dont need to so kind of ignore it. but I think all of you really get it and I'm so excited to start seeing changes!! So I guess my official weigh-in: 2/21 beginning weight: 132.5 goal: 120 kay Xo | ||

2/21 weigh in: 134
I gained a pound?! but I've actually been getting to the gym everyday so I know it will come off as soon as I get back in shape!! I usually go up a couple before I go down. can't wait to start going down though ;) |

Oops!
For the very first time in our 3 months of marriage I was actually able to get out the door and run 6 miles before work!!! (I used to do this all the time when I was single, which is why I'm so excited.) In my excitement, however, I forgot to weigh myself. I'll weigh in tomorrow if that's okay, one day shouldn't make that much of a difference. |

Congrats. I'm too shy to run outside, so I head over to the gym in the complex and run on the treadmill.
----- Today, I weighed in at 130. I'm 5'5. My normal weight is 123, I've gained since my boyfriend got back from Holland, and we've been going out to dinner every night. We've stopped lately, so the weight is going down, slowly, but it's going down. 118 is my low weight, and my goal weight. Hopefully, I'll hit it soon enough. I've always been a tiny thing, but this extra seven pounds is going to drive me nuts. |

| As a whole, you gals are funny. Fretting over every pound. When I see it from a distance, that is! Up close on your own scale it can make or break your day! Liz | ||

| Liz-My goal weight seems to fluctuate a bit depending on how optomistic I am. At this moment I would be happy at 128, happier at 125, and downright ecstatic at 122. In the past I've been comfortable at that weight-120 was too hard to maintain. It seems like whenever I pass that 130 pound milestone it is soooooooooooo hard to get below it again. GRRRRRR!!! | ||

Whoops Back up to 133.2 I guess that is only .3 pounds but still :( I am off to Puerto Vallarta for a week starting Saturday so the next time I weigh in, it probably will be real depressing, but worth it I hope. Congrats, everyone seems to be working hard! |
