***50-70 lbs. to Lose Club!***

Quote  |  Reply

Hey everyone! I decided to make a group for those who need to lose anywhere from 50 to 70 lbs. I think if we do weigh-ins once a week (whatever day works for each person), we can all keep each other motivated. It is possible for most people who join this group to lose mostly all of the extra weight by the end of 2008! We can all use tomorrow as our first weigh-in. Who's with me Smile?!

This is the form we can use:

Yeah, I am off this plateau!! Four weeks in a row that the weight is still coming off. I have now lost 70 lbs since beginning CC. I am now on the last notch on my belt again and need to punch a few more holes again. I agree that nobody chats in this group. I'm game. I posted this following paragraph last week and nobody responded. Do I smell? Because I can clean up a little more if that would work! Or is the beard? I am about to shave it off.

What is everyones mini goal and time for that to happen? Mine is to be below 270 by May 1st. (Of course that was the goal for 10/2/07 as well. As it is going I may make that by April 1st.). I just keep pushing it back as the plateau progressed. Anyone give any rewards for reaching the mini goals and the final weight goals? My final wieght I will reward myself with finally getting Certified to Scuba. Hope everyone has a great week. Keep up the good work.

Hey everybody. Well I got zapped for two weeks and gained 4 pounds so I went back up to 167 and I decided not to weigh in for two weeks. I am back down to 165 so that is something. I wasn't eating the way I should and it showed on my scale. No more of that. I hope more people will chat about their weight loss. Phiniman you are doing great. I know if you keep working you will reach your goal by may. I want to be 150 by the time my girlfriend comes down from new york in June so I am right there with you all the way. I am running another 5k this weekend and I am going to try and beat my time on my first one by a minute or two. Hopefully there won't be as many hills this time. I don't know the course and won't know it until saturday but wish me luck. I hope everyone is doing great this week and talk to you again next week. Melissa

Any more room in this forum for another newcomer?  I just found this site last week and am very hopeful that it will help me reach my weight loss goals and beoming healthier.

Week five, and the weight is still moving in the right direction. I am finding it hard to believe that I have lost this much weight. Hopefully by next week I will be at the 270 or less mark and keep on going from there. This has been quite a couple of weeks as well. We are putting our house on the market and looking for a bigger place so we have been really busy with cleaning and just getting it ready. Stress can be a wonderful thing

As far as the platueu here is how I am looking at them at this point, "Plateaus Suck, Inevitable, but you will get thru them!". After two plateaus in the past year (3 months and 5 months) They can drive you crazy even if you know you are doing things correctly. Just keep up the motivation and good habits and you will make it.

Thanks for the Kudos Lissy. I am sure the weight you gained was just water weight. So just get back on that horse and I am sure you will reach that goal. How did the 5k go? Welcome rasmom, becky, janie and jess. My name is Jason nad this site has been a lifesaver for me. I been doing this for 16 months now and it has become a routine and is still doable. Starting is usually the hardest part. Keep up the good work.
