I found Slim  in  6  to be great for toning, it is not dreadfully hard to do. I did the 6 weeks and found my self toned!  I looked great, I did the Slim and Six pack daily too which made my abs look decent.  I have not done this in about 2 years now but would love to start it again, that is if i can get my girls to nap at the same time!  Anyone doing it, or about to start it?  I am ready for the 6 week challenge.  I am eager to start but fear not following through... I know it works!  I have seen results firsthand!  I need a buddy!

okay I just finished my RIU for today, talked myself into getting it done early today so I wouldnt have to attempt to cram it in later on.  ahhh what a relief knowing it is done, ever get that feeling?

Anyhow I got my friend just prior to my start  of RIU...  proud to say it  did not deter me from my accomplishment.  I am anxious to see the scale after my friend leaves... I am not weighing in until it  is over.
I know exactly how you feel, this is the way I felt last night at 00.30 hrs while finishing RIU. Today, since I was such a good girl I rewarded myself with the bonus abs routine after I finished the RIU and it felt even better! LOL
im going to order my slimin six on thursday..  i have been kind of skeptical but since everyone has such great reviews.  im going to give it a try.  has anyone done turbo jam?? looks like a whole lot of fun!
messam - I have a friend who is doing Turbo Jam. Basically whatever tickles your fancy :) Personally I like SI6 because the movements are basic, no nonsense, good old: lunges, squats, pliees, etc, with slight variation to engage more muscles. No funky new movement invented by the trainers that you have to learn first. Give it a try, if you don;t like it, the website allows you to return it and get a refund :)

aly- good job on RIU! I like to do my exercise in the morning on weekend too. Knowing it is better to fit it in early than not knowing if schedule later on the day will permit or not.

Well, today is another day off from BIU. I did it yesterday. Today is HIIT at the gym. ^_^
Just finished my RIU, and still feeling awesome :) Nice work gals!
Good Job Everyone!  I've gotten completely off track this weekend but hope to get back in tomorrow.  Long story!!! :(  I'm really proud of each of you.
no worries chrisjeff, start back up tomorrow!

just finished my biu and i worked up a serious appetite. i gotta go make some dinner.

does anyone else wear a heart monitor while they do their si6. if so, have you noticed that the cals you burn goes down as you get better at the program. i am burning like 200 less calories since i started!
Hey Ladies! How is it going??

I just did my RIU for today... had to log in to read our posts to motivate myself... and it worked!   I felt like doing nothing,(TTOM), but doing nothing will not get me the results I want... believe me I tried that route!

Now that my workout for today is over I am so happy I did it, it actually pumped me up so much that I don't feel like laying on the couch having a pity party anymore!  hmmm... may be get some housework done...
Well, girls, I've been wondering about something. I've been practicing martial arts for 13 years, but when I met my husband (3.5 years ago) I somehow decided to give up the martial arts. You know, those afternoons/evenings were much better spent with him...(what can I tell you, I'm a natural blonde). Now I kind of miss my martial arts training and even though I keep in touch with all my friends from there (go to parties, to movies, visit each other) this is not the same thing. Do you think that I can replace twice a week the RIU/BIU training with 90 min of martial arts training? I wonder....It's very clear in my mind that I can not do them both!
monix- I dont see why you couldnt swap the martial arts out with your RIU/BIU routines.  Either way it is something that gets the heart pumping and calories burning!  I think it would be a great idea.
Monix, You should be just fine, I think sweet_tart is mixing things up too, so she may be able to give you some advise.
Also my heart monitor's battery is dead so I'll post the calories burned information for ramp it up after I get to the watch store for a new one.
I'll be looking forward to see the cal you burn on RIU waterphoenix.

Yeah, I don't follow the calendar for Slim In 6. I make my own sort of speak. SI6 is a way for me to get a whole body workout, which I would otherwise miss. Another reason I shake my routine up is to avoid having the muscle too comfortable at one routine (like taylorn24 post). If it gets too easy then I move on to something else, then later go back to it again.
See, as long as you exercise it doesn't matter really you are doing SI6 or martial arts. The point is to get you moving, going, burning calories :)

Oh, and if you plan to do BIU you probably want to do just that LOL... no way adding some other routine on top of it back to back. I did with RIU (RIU then cardio 20-30min, or the other way around). But BIU... I don't think so @.@ not back to back at least. I did it with one in the morning and one at night. Although I think it is overload of exercising though.
hi ladies! i did not stop in yesterday! but don't panic, i did do my workout yesterday. and today. i really can't wait to see what kind of results i get from si6. i have never done a full 6 weeks before. but i am for sure doing my 6 weeks this time!
Girls, I'm so sorry, every time I post it seems I have an issue to be solved! No I got into something strange. For 4-5 days already my weight remained the same. The strange part is that I weigh less in the evening then in the morning. And the difference is of 2 pounds and even more! Every day. Has this ever happened to you? Why? And what to do to get off the plateau? I drink around 3 liters of water, I eat around 1300- 1400 cals per day and CC tells me I burn around 2700 daily (even though it seems too much for me and I take into consideration about 2400-2500 cals per day). I must confess is getting harder to keep me motivated with this type of results (well, if I measure my waist/hips I see a reduction, but this is purely due to the exercises and it's not reflected on the scale...)
monix   as far as the weight, I am not seeing much of a decline, or not as much as I would want to see!  But my body is drastically changing.  Changing for the better!  So I am not letting the number discourage me.  I have not exceeded my start weight and I am waiting until tomorrow morning to do my weekly weigh in, TTOM should be over... for the next 28 days anyway!  UGH!  Keep motivated.  Nothing on that scale should deter you from being healthy and in shape.  You can never go wrong with adding exercise to your day (unless you are totally insane and doing things that are harmful to your body).  Don't get on that scale everyday... Try once every 4-7 days.  Get on the scale the same time of the day for each weigh in.

Remember the HIPS DON'T LIE!!! :)
My poor poor leggies. Those leg presses are killer!

I love this workout so much, though. I feel like I'm doing something and it shows! I'm doing Burn It Up daily to get as much cardio in as I can. Soon I will be svelte (like sweet_tart by summer hopefully!!!) :D

Cheers!

Ren :D

By the way... I find doing my regular gym workout (treadmill running/ uphill walking) plus the BIU is pretty tiring. I feel good mentally, but it is a physical drain, so I've got to watch what I eat or else I can overeat quickly, as this is a daily routine for me. My weight hasn't changed since Friday (when I started SI6) but my body already feels tighter in spots.
ahhh another day of RIU under my belt... my belt that is getting too big for my shrinking waist!  Yippy!

Keep it up!  Soon we will  be the hotties in bikinis!  Looking as great as sweet_tart!  :)  Dedication... I am so dedicated!  No more excuses!  I am looking forward to BIU, I think I have about a week of RIU left... I have to look at a calender... I am only counting the days I do the DVD as part of the 42 days... not counting the off days.  So I think I am up to hmm maybe day 16....  when I figure it out I will let you all know!

Still waiting for mine to show up :(  Just checked the UPS tracking website and it hasn't been updated since 1-27.  So I don't know if its lost in transit or if it just doesn't update until it is almost here.  But it's been 9 days since I ordered it so I hope it arrives soon so I can join y'all!
Jamie  That darn UPS!  haha  Hopefully it will arrive today.  I got mine  a few years back and I cant remember how long it took to arrive.... alll I can say is it is worth the wait!  Stay committed and you will see results!  Take a look at the food tiers, it should be in the box.  You dont have to follow their diet reccomendations but take note of what foods you really want to avoid,it is pretty helpful,  use the CC food log and do the DVDs and you can't go wrong!  it was mentioned a while back in  the post, once you do it for a while you can shut down the volume, crank up your own tunes and it is a little more enjoyable... dont let the sore legs in the first few days discourage you, it will pass...
Oh and it is my day 15... not counting the days off...
