Clean Eating Challenge deejlb

Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it.

I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me?? 

There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!!

All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date.

A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself

Let's be honest with each other & keep each other eating clean k? The PRIZE to the winner? Well that's easy - weight loss!!!!!!!!! (or maintenance for those at that stage!) Let's do this!

If you lose your mind & cheat, just let me know. Then you can re-start from the next day. I'll simply unbold your name, along with updating your new start date.

After being clean for a week after a re-start, I'll re-bold your name. So you always have a chance to feel like you are succeeding. 

Also, if you just don't feel like you want to partake in the challenge anymore, can you let me know so I can remove your name from the list? Thanks!!

Anyone not checking in for one week (December 25 - December 31) will be removed from the challenge.

Still clean!! still going strong on the eating I am Just trying to consciously see lumps of food on my tummy in my hips and thighs, so far so good!!

Hi all, I went to the gym to get a copy of my measurements to bring to the gym that is closer to home so If measurement day falls on a day I am there I can have it done , when we realized today was measurement retake day for me again. I kinda half heartedly said ok outa fear that I would be disappointed. But much too my surprise I went down Tremendously inch wise espescially from the last time. I weighed in this morning at 215.0 which has been my mini goal for the last two months and have managed to shave off an additional 10 inches over all!! for a total of 15.5 inches gone in two months. Talk about wanting to cry. I almost fell over as I watched the numbers!! So clean eating Pays off afterall!! Just couldn't wait to come share my Joy with you guys . we did find out that we only did upper belly measure not lower but we are starting those this month. I was also introduced to the elpitical. Wow what a workout. I did 15 minutes at level one and My thighs are still trembleing man. Any ideas on a good safe way to ease into that machine? I can't believe people run on those.

Congratulations Mabear!! 15.5 inches is quite an achievement!! Abt the elliptical- I'd say take it one day at a time.. It is pretty difficult when you are new at it. So keep a slow enough pace to maintain sustainable activity in your legs and fast enough pace to break into a sweat. And keep adjusting the pace and resistance as you get better- trust me it will happen.

It's day 8 for me since I started and I have to tell you guys I came dangerously close to breaking my clean eating yesterday!! I had the sweet-munchies... was craving everything and anything sweet. And during such times no amount of healthy substitution (fruits/veggies) really does feel good enough!!

I think it is the fear of having to tell you guys that I am "no longer clean" that kept me going.. :D

So yeah *emerging from battle with bruises and wiping sweat off brow* I'm still CLEAN!! YEAH!

Oh no... a night with my friend ended with tons of cookies and high-fat foods.

I need a restart for 9.16. :( I'm gonna go for WAY LONGER this time, though, I promise!

Thamks Impedementa! I think I am gonna try for at least 5-10 minutes everytime I go to the gym. I think I calculated wrong cause when I looked at the nomber it was only 10 in.lost but still that is way good 5 inches lost last month and 5 this month so I am still happy . Cool

Good Job and keeping the sweets at bay IMP.Innocent

I did my stationary bike yesterday and hubby couldn't even touch my thighs still this morning from eliptical. Teehee I think Its hilarious that the thing whipped me so bad in 5 minutes How I stayed on for 15 is a mystery. Surprised

*%$^@!!! I really need to get my head into this. Damn-it! I dunno why I can't. I already screwed up today, but I will not let that give me permission to blow it even more today. I will eat good for the rest of the day (it's only 1:30 pm).

Tomorrow I am gonna do a perfect day. Just one day, I can do that right? Then I'll worry about the next day.

My back is wrecked right now too, so I'll resume workouts when it feels good enough. Maybe even tomrorow.
