Clean Eating Challenge deejlb

Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it.

I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me?? 

There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!!

All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date.

A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself

Let's be honest with each other & keep each other eating clean k? The PRIZE to the winner? Well that's easy - weight loss!!!!!!!!! (or maintenance for those at that stage!) Let's do this!

If you lose your mind & cheat, just let me know. Then you can re-start from the next day. I'll simply unbold your name, along with updating your new start date.

After being clean for a week after a re-start, I'll re-bold your name. So you always have a chance to feel like you are succeeding. 

Also, if you just don't feel like you want to partake in the challenge anymore, can you let me know so I can remove your name from the list? Thanks!!

Anyone not checking in for one week (December 25 - December 31) will be removed from the challenge.

Hi dee, I'm just letting you know i need to leave the challenge.  I'm trying something new and the main thing is taking focus off food.  Thanks for the support and encouragment.  Keep up all the good work everyone:)

I'm back and doing GREAT!  I didn't have any weight gain during my trip to Europe... must've been all that walking!   Anyway, I hope everyone's still eating clean, and I'm glad to  be back.

Hi Dee! This past weekend was my birthday weekend, with today being my birthday. Please restart me with today's date. I did great today, but the last two days were absolutely horrendous!

Holy Crap Guys, I'm so sorry I have abandoned you!!! Please do forgive me.

I am gonna be on here daily now. The busy season is over for us & I have no excuses to keep this going & to get back at getting this last 26 or so lbs off (damn, that # keeps climbing!).

I am about to update the list as soon as I go through & respond to all of you.

austiemg- I did not do the P90 X  but just regular 'ol Power 90. & I also have the Power 90 Master Series that I tried, it was pretty good. I do own the X but have never done it. I want to wait till I am at goal weight &thenuse it to shape my body.

skinnyjordan- I'll italicize your name for now if you want. that way you can report in when you have computer access & just let me know if you need a restart.

nitanne- will miss you too, sorry to see you go. Good luck with your new focus.

Let's keep my date at sept 1st... because while I didn't gain weight in Europe, I wouldn't call my diet part of my "clean eating" if you know what I mean ;)

But now I'm at college and I have a salad bar at EVERY meal! Yummmm!

Hey!  I NEED to join this group... Maybe it will give me some kind of motivation! I've gained almost 40 pounds since I graduated from college 2 years ago, and It's time to do something about it.  My mostly sedentary job and bad bad eating habbits are at fault.  I'm one of those emotional eaters... so hopefully having to check in weekly will make me think twice before giving in to those not so good habbits!  Thanks!

I'd like to join too.. The entire last year i stuck to my diet and it worked great. The last few months I have been eating a lot of junk and have packed on a lot of weight. And i am getting married the begining of next year so i don't have much time left to shed the extra kilos...  Cry

:) notta problem. I'll just spam the heck out of this post by checking in all the time. Thats one way to keep it at the top of the list.

Still doing good even though i feel like i'm not. I AM but i just feel like i could be doing better. Time to revise my game plan.

melinda- hey girl! You're doing so great. I understand (as do we all I'm sure) those days when you just can't seem to get enough in the cake-hole! lol! But you have self control that is enviable by all. Keep it up!!
As far as challenges, I was thinking last night that after we hit our goal weights & go for maintenance, we could do a maintenance challenge where we weigh in weekly to make sure we stay with our loss. Can't wait to start that one!!
