Clean Eating Challenge deejlb

Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it.

I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me?? 

There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!!

All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date.

A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself

Let's be honest with each other & keep each other eating clean k? The PRIZE to the winner? Well that's easy - weight loss!!!!!!!!! (or maintenance for those at that stage!) Let's do this!

If you lose your mind & cheat, just let me know. Then you can re-start from the next day. I'll simply unbold your name, along with updating your new start date.

After being clean for a week after a re-start, I'll re-bold your name. So you always have a chance to feel like you are succeeding. 

Also, if you just don't feel like you want to partake in the challenge anymore, can you let me know so I can remove your name from the list? Thanks!!

Anyone not checking in for one week (December 25 - December 31) will be removed from the challenge.

Dee I need a restart. I didn't do a binge type thing just went over my cal limit. Please restart for 6/26 Sunday Thanks! and I am already at my limit for today and it is barley 1:00 pm so Ill  eat the best I can the rest of today and start Fresh and clean the begining of the week.

Still going strong...tomorrow will be the test as i will be off work and with my family! 

talkdoc- to avoid falling into the fast food trap when hungry you could keep some healthy snack foods or meal replacment bars in your car, that way you have something else to eat to make stoping at mc donalds harder to justify!  i usually keep a box of my fav bars in the car, just in case...i also love homemade trail-mix and use it as a take along snack often!  Good luck!  and congrats on the new job!

Checking in, doing fine this whole week. I've had good days and bad days but overall I feel fine.

Hey Mabear, don't worry so much about needing the restart. I looked at your pictures and you can tell you're losing weight, you look so good and you're going to keep looking better and better! You're doing great and I'm sure you'll keep doing great. =)

Dee - No, I had a couple servings of Doritos, but I didn't feel like I was being honest with ya'll if I got on here and said I was eating clean if I had those. I would have felt guilty

hey dee, i havent binged in almost 3 weeks!

BUTTT i have been going over in calories not everyday but today i had 2 slices of pumkin pie and2 slices of apple pie. as much as it hurts me to ask..please start me over for aug 27!

ok, I'd like to sign up! My best friend and I just made a pact to not eat junk/sweets/fast food until thanksgiving meal, so this is the perfect place for me.  Whenever one of us cheats we have to pay the other 10 dollars and believe me I cannot afford to cheat :-)

My starting date will be tomorrow: August 27th

Ok...I really suck at this...I can't even eat clean maintaining:(  Went to a concert Sat night and drank...had other bad foods...then had pizza and candy on Sun.  I need a restart for today please...Aug 27.  Thanks

I have eaten like crap & have put my start date as Thursday - cuz I MUST re-start by then for sure 100%. Maybe I'll surprise myself & do it tomorrow, it's already too late today.

laura, I understand your nervousness, cuz I'm there with ya. I see the lbs I have put on & see the path I'm on & if I dont' stop it very very soon, I'll be back up to the 190s before I realize it.

talkdoc- we're gonna miss ya. Good luck with your new job!! Keep some healthy snacks in your car & some meal replacement bars too. That way you can grab for those instead of mc d's, etc. take care!

nitanne- of course you can be in here even if you're maintaining!! You still have to have some rules to eat for maintaining right? or else you'd gain. Good luck & congrats on being at maintenance!!

I fell and I fell hard, I've been eating too little the last 3 or 4 days.  I can say that I have lost weight but that it hasn't been healthy weight loss.  I need to restart but I want to get this under control before I make you restart me every other day.
