I run, bike and swim now and have been participating in running 5k's and triathlons. I have firmed up but would like to wear a size 8 comfortably. I may want to go on to a size 6 next.
I think that if I had some friends with the same goals, then I would stay motivated. Maybe we can share ideas and recipes.
Let me know if you are out there and interested.

Ohio- Yea, carbs can really put on lbs fast. I am having trouble buttoning some pants too. i am starting to get real bummed about it too. I don't think I can drop down as low as 1200 that quick. I would die of starvation...lol. I need to cut more slowly than that. The trouble is I never seem to be able to get down there.
Personal training- I find that too. I don't lose when I don't expect it and lose when I don't expect it. Even this morning for example. I ate some stuff yesterday that I figured would add lbs. and I was down instead of up this am. Strange.
I have been so bad lately. So it has been hard getting back on track. Since I have quit counting calories I actually do think I binge less. But I make different food choices. I am not so strict the majority of the day. I don't keep track all day like I did, so I have no idea where I stand right now. I am exercising as always and tracking weight. I am trying to go off how my clothes feel. I find it easy to indulge in treats though and this isn't good. I am so frustrated trying to lose weight.
Well that's about it for now, we are heading into the weekend and that is another struggle. Last weekend was an eating fest, I hope this one is better. Good luck guys!
Hi Everyone ...sounds like you all are doing great!!! Congrats! I myself have 5 pounds to go to my GW..I have been stuck but I just hit TTOTM and I am hoping when that is over my weight will go down a little more(fingers crossed). I bumped my calorie intake up to maintainance this week..I was just so hungry and had a couple of parties and didn't want to feel so restricted..especially with that hideous monster lurking around..lol. Keep up the good work everyone and I need to get to a farmers market around here those fresh veggies sound yummmy!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :0)
hi everyone, i also want to lose 10lbs. i weigh 119 lbs now and i am 5 ft 5. i go to the gym everyday for about 2 1/2 hours. i eat about 500 calories a day but sometimes 100 calories a day. how long do you think it will take me to lose 10 lbs. good luck to everyone trying to lose 10 lbs!

500 Cals a day? Sometimes 100? You're gonna die of starvation before you lose any weight! You should eat at least 1200 a day!! And even more than that if you are working out for 2 1/2 hours!! Take care of yourself!! I am worried!
Ohio45..I know it is sooo frustrating. I just had the worst week totally caved in and ate whatever..TTOTM. I got so tired of being good...and to get so close and not get there well...it makes ya want to scream!! Don't give up...you can do it. I would say I ate at maintance level this past week maybe a bit higher even with my whatever attitude...I will let you know if that bumped my weight loss back into action..maybe you can try it to. Sometimes I think the body just needs a jolt..it gets used to your routine. Stay strong and be proud of your accomplishments. "Great changes may not happen right away, but with great effort even the difficult may become easy"
As far as the post from anisa13- I hope that is some kind of joke..nobody can sustain life on such little calories and then add in the exercise for 2 1/2 hours a day.

At very active setting, your burn would be about 2200 calories per day. Since you are taking in 300 calories per day (average between 500 and 100) your daily deficit is about 1900 caloies per day. To lose 10 pounds, you will need to create a claorie deficit of 35000 calories total. Therefore (unless your body rejects your plan e.g. by a slowing metabolism or death) you should reach your goal weight of 109 and a BMI of 18.2 in about 18 or 19 days, and will gain it all back once you go on normal calories in about 18 or 19 days.
This plan is not recommended.
hi again, i can't help but eat very little because when i eat something fattaning i feel guilty and excercise off all the calories. is there any way too stop feeling like this?

I am going to try to keep logging and exercising. This morning I exercised and could feel the extra weight slowing me down. It doesn't feel good. I hope I can get motivated. This summer has been hard staying home with the kids. It is too easy to eat snacks when I am with them. I will be happy to change that when school is back in plus I should be able to exercise more regularly then too. I hope I can drop at least 10 of these lbs fairly quick after August is over. Believe it or not I find it easier to lose weight during the school year than during the summer time these days. I eat more during the summer with all the picnics and local attractions we have been going to.
