| Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...
I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey. Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen.... Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide. OMG you guys, I totally forgot to tell you I went jean shopping again yesterday, on Friday. Even though I am bloated from TTOM, I found 3 pairs of awesome fitting jeans! All of them at JC Pennys. 2 are from the brand bisou bisou, I liked them at first because of the very dark denim they are, I loveee dark dark blue denim. They fit pretty well like 85%, and are very flattering, one is straight legged and one is boot cut. 100% love the color 1 is from the JC penny brand Ana. Curvy fit. These jeans really feel like someone took my measurements and made me a pair. They fit so comfortably, like track pants. It's like I'm wearing PJs, and they look awesome! 95% fit, 40% like the color. I never thought I'd have a good jean shopping day, esspecially when I was so hormonal and bloated. Best part is I got all 3 pair for 69 bucks. They were having a buy one get one for 88cents deal for bisou bisou and mixit seperates. |

| congrats, Nocturne! I had a similar experience yesterday.. I put on some jeans that had not fit me when I bought them, and wore them all day! for the first time! It's so exciting to have new jeans... ~! | ||

Congratualtions Nocturn. Nothing like a great looking pair of jeans! I am currently fitting nicely into a size 8 pair of capri khakis that I never thought I could put on again without looking like a stuffed sausage! We are doing this girls!!! We get and keep the killer bodies we want! My arms are killing from my upper body workout yesterday and it feels GREAT!!! Happy rest of the weekend all! Be good!!! |

Thank you guys! I fully agree, I feel fab today, when I usually feel like a fat mess. TTOM sucks. XD My two dark denim ones are 10s, but the well fitting ones are 8s. I remember it use to be 6/8 I fit into. Kinda sad even with the 8lbs I've lost, I'm still I size higher at 8/10. I must have weighed 145 abouts when that was going on. I kinda wish the weight was dropping instead of gaining this muscle. But..... It's kinda nice to be able to run and jump easier though. =) |

okay so I made it to the gym today, and had a grrreat workout once again, burned over 500cals with cardio alone, and then did some ab stuff. Unfortunately, my weight was exactly the same as it was this time a week ago - 158. It sucks because I've been working out 5 times a week in the gym, and then at least an hour or two of horseback riding, once a week. And I've been dieting too. The only thing is... I know I haven't been eating enough calories, but I used to eat TOO much and I've been proud that I've been able to live with only about 1000 calories per day, of very healthy foods. I know what ya'll are going to say - "starvation mode", right? But if I do stick with this diet and excercie plan, the way I've been doing it, won't my body eventually adjust and won't I lose the weight anyway?? Argh.... frustrating, I was really hoping for 155-156 today. Maybe the scale is a little off? Lol. Any advice? |

Sorry stormsrun, if you're eating 1000 calories and burning 500, that gives you an intake of 500 calories a day. This is starvation, your organs ALONE need 1200 to function everyday. Your body will not let you lose weight if you are starving. Even if you are able to lose some, you will gain it back and then some because you will not be losing just fat, you will be losing muscle and organ tissue. Less muscle = low metabolism = more weight gain. You need energy to burn fat. Our energy = calories. Eating too few calories is just as detrimental to a diet as eating too many. |

Woo, this weekend so far has been much better. I'm working out 90 mins/day (5 days a week) and eating (I think) the proper amount of calories. I'm gradually working to phase out a lot of the processed foods I'd been eating (lean cusines, processed "healthy" foods ... all fine and well on their own but when you eat 5 100 calorie packs a day, well that's not good ... ) and lord help me, but I'm beginning to enjoy working out and drinking water, two things I never thought I'd get used to! And although I don't know how much I weigh (I'm trying to think of this plateau as a way for me to re-focus my goals and my eating, and hopefully as a way for my body to catch up) I've decided that I need to not weigh every day. It was fine when I was first losing and it was all water weight, but now that I'm seriously cracking down to lose fat pounds, I think twice a week will be enough. So Sunday and Thrusday it is! We'll see if I'm this excited tomorrow morning, haha. Oh, and I went to Ann Taylor today just to look at the dress I've been lusting after and wanting for the bridal shower I'm throwing a week from today -- I'm the MOH. I tried it on for kicks ... and the 10 was too big! The girl brought me an 8 which was a teeny bit snug in the bust, but no biggie, with a pair of spanx (what a wonderful creation!!) it'll look super cute! (Shh .... I may look cuter than cuter than the bride!!) |

hey guys i was doing soo good till today..eeerrr hubby and i went on a motorcycle ride and to the local bike show today ate some great cuban food.. yummy yummy plantains and a 1/2 cuban and some black beans and yellow rice with all that i might have been ok if i didnt totally binge on m&ms...eeerrr well tomorrow is another day right just log it and forget it.. i hope it doenst do to much damage on me also taking the girsl to the circus tomorrow.. have to just say no to the cotton candy...lol im glad to see you guys are all doing so great... well its late and im soo pooped..lol have a great sunday and will chat later... |

Just a quick drop in. I am really bummed out! I am 154 now this morning, up from my all time low of 152.5 just yesterday! I did have a lot of sodium yesterday and started TTOTM this morning, so I am hoping that is the culprit! I will do really well today and stay motivated and hope for a drop in the morning! I was feeling SOOOOO great, than BAM!!! Stupid scale! LOL! Hope everyones weekend is great! Sorry storm, what nocturn says is dead on right! Eat more and the weight will drop off! You can do this! Holly, yes, today is a new day! One day wont kill your efforts and was probably soooo fun! I ate just over 1900 calories yesterday! Thank goodness I worked out, but as you can see, the scale yelled at me for it! Have a great Sunday! Holly, what kind of bike do you guys have? We have a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic! We will be riding today!!! |

I know it sucks when we let the scale determine how we feel all day. I don't think I'm going to weigh this week until TTOM is over. The worst part is on TTOM, I'm always starving, even maintenance calories don't feel like enough, so I have to be careful. I also crave sweets more, so I have some sweet tooth busters that are decent in calories. I don't think I'll lose anything this week, but maybe I can stay the same. PLUS, this morning I could actually tell that my rear is more toned, thrilled about that. I hope my b/f notices too XD |

Oh man.. I've been terrible this week. I didn't work out all week because I only slept about 7 hours between monday and thrusday, But I was still eating well. Then, friday, I pigged out. It was awful. SO bad that I couldn't even put it in c-c because I didn't want to see it. Then yesterday I kind of fasted, just had a sugar free smoothie and a chicken breast because I needed to detox a little. and then today I was being giid, but I just got initiated into Phi Beta Kappa and they had these delicious looking brownies things.. I totally caved. Ugh... oh well.... cest la vie. tomorrow is a new day... a day filled with a workout, perhaps? |

Yes please...a better tomorrow! I am calculating about 1800 cals for the day! YUCK! I say about, because I am having trouble finding some of the food on CC, so I over estimate it! I am going to look it all up in my calorie king book to double check! I really did not eat that much! 3 meals, no snacks only because we had no time! We rode the motercycle all afternoon, than came home and took 2 of our boys to Dick's Sports to buy baseball equipment, than it was a quick stop for a few groceries, home for dinner and hear I sit wondering how 1 waffle for breakfast, a big salad with nothing but greens, feta cheese and a vinagarette dressing, a little whitefish dip (2 Tbl.) on some Wasa crackers, and some seared Ahi Tuna for lunch and 2 oz. of chicken, 1/2 a baked potato and some broccoli for dinner could add up to that much! I did have about 3 bites of cake that I counted as 100 calories and real butter on my potato! And I also had a Grands buttermilk bisquit with dinner....okay, now I see! So I am more careful tommorow! I need to do this! I am sorry you feel "Yucky" prettybowen! Tommorow will be great! Whitney, yes a workout, and a good one at that tommorow! Nocturne, way to go on the toned butt!! Gotta love that!!!!!! Night all! More tommorow! |

Well guys, I'm trying your advice, I ate about 1500 cals today, which felt like too mcuh for me, but it is what I should be eating.... AND I rrreeallly didn't feel like working out, but I did anyway and I felt grrreat afterwards! I've been doing a lot of work on an ab machine. Last week I started out at "level 4" (4lbs? idk..), and now I've moved up to 6 sets of ten at level 5, when 5 was wayyy too much for me when I started. Now it seems easy so I may try 6 later this week :) Kinda sad to know I almost have a six-pack under this little layer of fat, but hey, that's motivation, right?? |

okay..no scale for me...a crazy weekend with my dad visiting...and I totally spoil him..cooking lots and eating. Feel bloated today. Today is a new day. Kids are back at school after a week's vacation. Now i need to get back into my routine. Off to workout this morning and gearing up for a healthy eating week here.Sounds like everyone is doing great.

| No scale for me either. Bad weekend with visiting friends and having a small gathering at our house. I'm ok with this though because I had lots of fun and didn't worry about what I was eating for a weekend. Back to it this week with a vengence. I'm away next weekend but plan to use the gym at the hotel. I'll keep you posted. | ||

ok i had a really bad weekend i was really hoping i could control myself but, well im up but im sure i didnt drink enought water so maybe gettting back on track this week will get me back down... well i hope most of the rest of you guys had a great weekend.. and heres to getting a little slimmer... carie we have a kawaskai , its a crotch rocket..lol so def have to use those leg muscles to hang on..lol |

| I've been eating maintenance since Thursday. With my TTOM bloat and that, I'm 149.4, I said I wouldn't weigh, but my curiousity gets the best of me. I'm shocked. I hope that means by next week I'll be 148. =) | ||

Totally not weighing myself either...I don't even want to know! The blue bunny ice cream got me again!! I am addicted to that stuff!!!
