140/130 club timbergrove

Anyone in this grouping looking to drop from 140 to 130's.  We can all use support.  Today I am focusing on all the food groups.  Exercise would be good, but I won't be able to since I am working from 9 to 10:30.  A Super long day.  I hope I can stay focused, when I pass the fast food chaines on my travels today.

lol i understand completely :) i havent been anywhere near this size/shape  i dont think either.. and goodness.. these hips will never go back in, lol..and oh my goodness, my ribcage is sooooooooo much bigger then it ever was (thanks kids)...  when i was 16 i was a total bean pole..  that was actually about the time i started developing those curves up top lol.. suddenly over the summer i had big ones lol... i dont think i have ever been where i will be when i hit goal either... just the weight part, cos my body has definitely changed a lot since i had kids lol.. (breast reduction helped too lol) and i was never comfortable in my body either, it will be interesting to see if i am ever.. lol..  i am learning to like it though :)

yeah--it's hard to imagine actually being satisfied in your body--but i CAN tell you that i'm a lot happier NOW than i was before, LOL! i'm okay with wearing shorts again (still not exactly happy, but acceptable) and going to the beach.  so that makes life a lot easier.

found a cool article about shoulder exercises on prevention.com so i'm going to add that to my daily routine after work on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.  i'm always looking for ways to tone up my shoulders so that they look better in tank tops. i think sexy shoulders are so...well...sexy :)

i'm a little disappointed because my weight went back up (well, up to 142.5 anyways) and i was upset...but then i put it in perspective and i have to laugh at myself.  not long ago i would've been thrilled with that number :) but i think i want to take my measurements tonight to get some reassurance that i'm still making progress.  plus i think i'm going to buy myself a new pair of jeans--just have to make sure that they're a size 9 :)

*sigh* one of the guys i work with (he's really nice--i worked for him a couple years ago) just dropped off a treat for me from a local cafe.  it's like, a chocolate walnut bar or something.  looks really good--and i'll definitely try it, but the thing is HUGE. i'll probably end up letting my b/f eat most of it :)

can't say too much. Sounds like everyone is doing great!

I'm at 139.2 today. Maybe I'll try one of my old dvd's this weekend to switch things up a little. I haven't busted out Denise Austin in a few weeks... a little mix of cardio and weight lifting... I think I'll do that Saturday am and then my cardio Sunday am. I tried cutting my calories yesterday and am going back up to about 1600 today... we'll see what happens! I may shoot for 1700 b/c I kind of want some vodka w/diet pepsi tonight... yum...

I know what you guys are saying about the size thing! I haven't been looking this good in my regular jeans for a while! Slowly losin the love handles! Hooray!

i'm prolly gonna go for a gin and tonic myself :) one of my fave drinks so i'm happy to find out it's a lower cal one, also :) lol.

okay--seriously.  i peed when i got into work at like 8:30 and i have to pee really bad again. this is ridiculous!  so is this weather! we're supposed to get 2-4 inches! it's friggin' April! not February!

I was 140.0 this morning, lost alittle of the vacation weight.  Just slow going. 

Same here with the size, I dropped down to an old pair of jeans before vacation and they fit like they were suppose too.  I danced around the house for like an hour, my husband just laughed.

I weighted 105 lbs after I had my daughter 25 years ago and havent' since it since,  UUUUGGGHHHH!!!!  I was a bean pole with no shape what so ever.   So gaining was good, but didn't stop!!!  I don't want to get down to that again, but low 130's would be good.  So I have alot of work to do.

105 lbs? wow....low 130's sounds more achievable! you can totally do it! i don't dance around when i fit into old pants--i just look at myself in the mirror from every possible angle :)  for about a half hour :)

morgan dont be too disappointed you know its will go back down :) and yay shorts lol.. i like em, as long as they cover my thighs lol...and dont give me a muffin top, lol.. ONE bite of that treat and then hand it off :P and thats what happens when you start drinking lots more water, lol..  ugh snow.. my mom called yesterday from missouri, and she was complaining about the drop in temperature...

stacey, keep trying and watch what you eat this weekend, try not to over do it... :)

vicki, keep up the good work :) you know you can do it :) and you are less then 10 lbs away from the low 130s :) 

lol... i am like morgan, when i fit into smaller pants, i am like wow, and just keep looking at myself, lol..  and smiling... :)


okay, so this morning the scale was VERY NICE to me.. :) 143 :) a new low :) yay :) i am sooooooooo excited to see that :) hip hip hooray :)

thanks morgan :) i was really happy to see a low number this morning :) gotta make sure i drink my water today, and still dont know if i am eating with hubby later... heck i havent even gotten through my breakfast yet lol...  i made an eggbeater omelette with some ff cheddar cheese, and some flat iron steak cut up into pieces on it :) yummmmmy, but i have been slowly eating it for the last half hour lol..  too busy typing lol..

Good morning to everyone and HAPPY FRIDAY!  (though Friday for me is still a bit of a catch 22.. the work week struggle is done, but the 'keeping cals in check with friends' struggle is on full force.. ugh).

Kiigan-Hands off that brownie lol..I give you credit though.. with me, Id eat just a little piece, then in an hour just a little piece again, and by 5 id wonder who ate my brownie (the scale would be sure to remind me in the morning!)  I think it's funny how so many peops here leave the extra food to their boyfriends...how are the boyfriends' weights faring with this ritual lol?

srd-vodka and diet coke here lol.. I love v and tonic but most places don't have diet tonic.. When they do, it's mine!  That was hard at first cuz Im a cosmo and long island fan.. but when I realized how many cals I was saving over my friends..it was well worth it.  Congrats on the 139!

On snow-no thank you!  I moved to AZ from the east coast a little over a year ago.. it's 88 with a slight breeze and sunny. I'll never go back to the snow! (though Im going to hawaii next month and my girlfriend is convinced Ill love it enough to want to stay..im up for anywhere perpetually warm only lol)

Unicat- yayyyyyyy on the new low! So close to breaking the 140 barrier!  That's so exciting and you should definately pat yourself on the back :) 

My weigh in day is normally fridays..but for ttom, Im waiting til tomorrow instead (feeling particularly bloated at the moment, though Ive eaten very well and excercized like a maniac.. 512 today in 30 mins haha.. kicked the ellipticals butt.. i do detest that machine but it has been good to me.) I just figured, it's the weekend, and i don't want that dumb number to bum me out and have me making dumb cal choices out with friends on account of it.. I feel healthier, and for today, that's going to have to be good enough.. though im sure Ill post tomorrow with my official number..

Oh.. how do you get that ticker to show up in your profile? I can save the ticker but the code never seems to work when I just insert it into my profile.. I want one :-(

awesome job unicat! hooray!!!

I'm happy at 139, wishing 138 would get here though...

snow does suck... we are getting it too, ugh

boyfriend loves my leftovers :) he is 6' and about 180 ish... he could eat anything! He is a roofer so he is moving constantly, burning tons and tons of calories... Usually when we go out instead of boxing up half my food, I just push it onto another plate and give it to him... lol, it works great every time! :)

ps. I'll be posting a lot less nowadays... company crackin down on internet useage... I'll be on about 3 times a day on my breaks cuz I don't have internet at home. i'll try to keep up with you guys but may miss a lot of the conversations :) I'm going to try and keep up with everyone's journals and stuff. i'll still be in touch though, don't forget about me ;) oh, and I'm going to try and post something in my journal daily for those interested :)

Lily - just do your best to stay on track, make good decisions on the types of food you eat and the amount of said foods, and try to get some exercise in.. :)  thank you sooo much... i am looking forward to hitting and breaking through the 140 barrier :) it will feel soooo awesome :) *pat* *pat* :0)  if you are worried about the bloating from ttom, and worried it will bum you out, just dont weigh in til monday...  wouldnt want you to make bad decisions just because your weight is up due to bloating...  like i said, just do your best to stay on track this weekend...  when you create the ticker, and save it, down at the middle of the page in (if i remember correctly) small writing it says something about placing on your profile or saving into your profile something like that, just click on it... :)

thanks stacey :) you will hit 138 soon :)  lucky boyfriend that he can eat whatever he wants lol.. about work cracking down on internet usage, just dont get in trouble..  but make sure you log in on breaks so you an keep yourself accountable, and keep in touch with us :) so we can cheer you on :)

okay so i did my taebo, (concentrated again on technique, am wondering if this is why am losing again??) it wasnt tooo horrible on my stomach lol..  but i always slam down my protein drink after (while i am smoking lol.. yeah i know, good thing to give my lungs after a nice hard workout, but i am working on one thing at a time, i will work on the smoking after i get my body where i want it, or close, lol) and ugh that almost made me nauseous lol..  stomach still feeels waaaaay full..   got housework to do, hubby called to say it should be an early day, so we will probably be out and about for the afternoon... yay :) but i will be checking in occassionally til he gets home :)

everywhere I have been today, people talk about protein drinks, give me some clues and info on these drinks.  I have never tried them.
