I use the activity log too.

Pillow talk is a great movie and I love Jerry Lewis too! Him and Dean Martin! Plus I love Bob Hope/Bing Crosby and Abbot/Castello(sp?)!! They're great! Love old movies!
Yeah, the 900 calories sounds really high!

Just wanted to check in--you girls are busy! I just finished my first spin class--Very amazing! I felt so strong and so amazing! It was so cool. I'm waking up at 8:30am (yes, on a saturday) to try my second spin class. If I like it, I will plan on going 3 days a week. I'm not sure how many calories it burns but I'm sure it's a lot ! Ok, I'm off to watch movies and be lazy not counting calories--night ladies!

Something sounds off, Forks... Surprised

Go to your account page to see your TOTAL calories burned by the end of today, after you add your activities... Laughing

It will subtract some for each hour you used for your activities... that is because you would burn some calories per hour even if you don't move, lol!  Wink

The result is on your account page... for today only-- till midnight. Surprised

You surely burn more per day, without exercise!!! I've gone from 1900 per day at 206.5 lbs. to 1750... to 1740, today! (At my new 170.25 lbs.) Tongue out

Better I do, LESS I get!!! SurprisedLaughing

I'm sipping, too!!! Jasmine green tea with honey... Earl Gray waiting next!!!  Tongue out

Night, Boots!!! Laughing Join us for a cuppa' tea??? LaughingWink

You guys have such interesting things to say. Like RG and her catching herself with the weight gain then getting back on track. Good for you! And the whole breakfast thing? Should you eat right after you wake up? For me I try to wait out an hour or two so then my stomach doesn't feel so hungry you know? So I can sort of relax then eat. I read in this article that you should eat sitting down with the t.v. closed and everything in front of you. I guess If I followed the three meal a day thing then I'd see some results or something.

Ok guys not the proudest today but totally better than yesterday. It's totally my fault for the apple crisp at 10 pm that I really didn't need or feel like having but was a bit bored and gave it a shot. I also found myself with really dry lips and I have been drinking some water through out the day. I ran 4 miles today before school then walked 2 miles home from school with a bit of running in between. In that aspect I feel proud but my eating aspect I'm a bit dissapointed.

I drank water throughout the day but I don't really log that in my food journal. Do you think that would help us all if we did something like that? I'm going to seriously figure out why I eat the way I do so I don't have to keep posting stuff about me and everything... you guys must be annoyed or something by now.

Hope everyone is going well with weight loss!

Another tea sipper!!! Good day for tea drinkers, lol! Wink

NOT tired of you, HB!!! Surprised

Wish I could stock your kitchen for you with filling, good-for-you, SATISFYING foods!!! I substitute stuff to keep myself happy... And protein helps me, too. I eat very little pasta and starchy stuff, cause it doesn't fill me up and seems to taste-too-good-to-resist-too-much! I fix spaghetti for my husband and fix stir-fry frozen veggies with lean chicken or fish or even egg beaters for a fast, cheap, easy-to-clean-up big meal for myself. Or, roasted chicken and sweet potato baked in the microwave in about 4 minutes...Or turnip/mustard/collard greens... bought fresh, already chopped and washed-- ready to cook quick! WinkTongue out

Time and attention will pay off... keep learning what helps and works for you-- I've practiced 8 months now! Laughing

2BB... Where at in S. Miss?  I have a friend that lives (or may have moved by now) in D'Iberville.

HB... I'm with 2BB, i wish I could fill your house with good things to munch on and no more pasta or baked goods, they just leave you wanting more andmore and more.  I can understand though, if my mom had the stuff sitting in my house I would have eaten it too!! Tongue out  It's hard to make the big change.

Well, my 110 ounces of water yesterday paid off.  I woke up this morning not only having lost the 1.8 lbs of water weight, but also and extra .5 lbs from 2 days ago.  I'm at 178.1.  I'm just glad I'm back to normal and watching my sodium again.

It's a cold morning in Vegas, 32 degrees.  I feel for you 2BB!  I can see the snow on the mountains and it's making me colder (it never snows in the valley here).  My whole family lives in Maine and I tell them they are crazy for staying there.  The summers are (to steal from forks and Jim Carrey) B E A Utiful, but the winters are HARSH.

My plan for the day is HEAVY cleaning.  Since I have to move in 2 months I'm going to be boxing up unnecessary things and cleaning stuff out.  Should burn some pretty good cals with the day I have planned.  I had some Go Lean crunch, PB2 toast and pineapple for breakfast so I'm fueled up and ready to go!!

"See" ya later!!!Laughing

Hi! tamleech! Laughing

My husband says they're safe... too far south, closer by New Orleans. Wink

I'm by the "Hub City," of Hattiesburg... aprox. 100 miles from 3 'popular' areas here... the Gulf Coast, New Orleans and the Capital of Mississippi in Jackson. We rarely see snow, being so far south. Laughing

Feel for ya', hate moving! Hope everything goes well for your day! Laughing

* goes back off for More HOT coffee! *

{shiver!!!} Wink

We lived in Ft Walton Beach, Fla for 7 years (it's about 40 miles east of Pensacola up in the panhandle) and LOVE the south.  Hated the bugs though.  Then we moved to Texas where it snowed maybe twice a year for an hour each time and now in Vegas where it never snows, so our children have been quite deprived of the fun snow can be.  At least here we can drive up the mountain and have snow to play in but still come back home to our comfy 55-60 degrees.  As a child I lived in NY, South Dakota and Maine, so all I knew was cold and snow until I got married!  I DON'T MISS IT!!!

Sorry, I'm slowly making this the "Let's talk about the weather" thread.

Time to go burn some cals I suppose... (although weather sounds more interesting than packing to me!)

Lol!!! I don't think the Boss will mind-- and she's had to do the packing, too!!! Wink

Just a thought-- Keep an eye on your scale!!!! Lol!!! SurprisedSurprisedSurprised

They can hide rather well, can't they, Boss...??? Wink

Good Morning, Mel!!! Laughing

Hi guys.  I am sneaking over here from CCC because they have slowed to a crawl with the posting. I feel somewhat energized, having just joined the gym.  And had my body fat composition done by a trainer.  It was not that fun.  But eye-opening

And he had this model of a pound of fat that was supposed to be very accurate.  It was really big, a lot bigger than I imagined.   Like, the size of a pound and a half of butter.  He said a pound of muscle is about the size of a tennis ball.

I want to say, Gina, that I REALLY like the idea of losing slowly.  I would be happy with one lb per month, if I could just keep it off. And not lose my muscle in the process.  Ok  here I go to drink tea yum yum.

My sister is gettin married in June and so I am supposed to be a brides-maid. It is my motivator right now.

Good morning , just wanted to check in real quick. Fixing to eat a high protein breakfast! You early birds--to catch the worms--eh? Life is good. I lost .2 pounds this morning--slow slow slow--I'm going to be 80 once I get this weight off--It's 'ok' I'm happy with the .2 actually. This means next week it should go down too. Usually I gain, gain, gain and then lose , lose just like that each month!--Weird!! Weird! Weird! Here's to slow losers! I'm off, to check back in later! RG how much do you figure you burn in spin class? Average?

* Humming... *

"With MY way'a Thinkin'...

Will I Drive her ta' Drinkin'...???"   >>>>> MORE TEA...!!!    Lol!!!  WinkSurprised

Mornin,' Boss...!!!  Ya' up, yet??? Laughing

Hi! Zeroexcuses!!! Welcome!!! Laughing

I'm trying to wake the Boss up, she'll be around later, lol! With a name like yours, we'll be greatly benefited to have you!!! I need to get rid of my excuses, too, lol!!! Wink

Good Morning!!! Laughing

* waves! *  Hey! Good Morning, Boots!!! Laughing

Morning Boots and Welcome zeroexcuses!!!  Definitely a lot of energy in this room.

I'm going to learn from past mistakes, my scale won't go into a box, it's going to sit in the passenger seat of my van with a seatbelt on!  Tongue out  I'm not giving it a chance to run away and hide.

Lol!!! That's a good idea!!! Wink
