Clean Eating Challenge deejlb

Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it.

I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me?? 

There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!!

All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date.

A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself

Let's be honest with each other & keep each other eating clean k? The PRIZE to the winner? Well that's easy - weight loss!!!!!!!!! (or maintenance for those at that stage!) Let's do this!

If you lose your mind & cheat, just let me know. Then you can re-start from the next day. I'll simply unbold your name, along with updating your new start date.

After being clean for a week after a re-start, I'll re-bold your name. So you always have a chance to feel like you are succeeding. 

Also, if you just don't feel like you want to partake in the challenge anymore, can you let me know so I can remove your name from the list? Thanks!!

Anyone not checking in for one week (December 25 - December 31) will be removed from the challenge.

Still clean YIPPY! I even refused to eat the chocolate chip cookey dough that I'm in the process of making with the kids....shall see how this goes after the warm goey cookies come out of the oven......Uh Oh.... I didn't think this  one through very well..

Oh well, I might be working a little harder tonight than I had expected to.

Hey all, just updated the list as of today.

I won't be updating the list at all till next monday. Is there anyone who would mind keeping track of any restarts till then for me??? I would appreciate it very much. If not  that's ok too, it'lll just take me while to update when I get back on Monday.

If someone does want to, could you just email me the updates on Sunday night?? Thanks a lot!!

Woah, I almost blew it last night. While watching a film I wanted to get a snack (I love eating and doing something else at the same time) but instead I had hot milk with a little fructose in it.  Very satisfying, oddly!  Nancy

Still clean !

any way I need some suggestions to try to boost my cals a little more. I am trying to eat 1400 cals and I have been at least say 50 under the past few nights, I am also working out like crazy can some one please offer some healthy suggestions. I do eat fruit throughout my day and not sure if The sugar would be a safe thing to raise . I am so Lost !! But I am Clean at least!!

Mabear32059: Any time I eat an apple I cut it up and have 2 Tablespoons of Peanut butter to dip it in, it has quite a few calories but it spices up my apples a little more.  I also dip carrots and put low fat cream cheese or peanut butter on celery.

I would like to try!! I've been eating horribly for the past two months and before that i had perfect eating habits. Im in need of a challenge like this.

I ate healthy today but wound up 43 calories over my overall calorie limit. I don't count that as not eating clean, 100+ is not eating clean so this is just a reminder to me to watch calorie content more carefully.

Also, this is the first time in over 3 years I've seen the scale tell me I weigh 189. It's really exciting!

EDIT: I counted wrong! I automatically pulled something from my last list, forgetting I altered the recipe. Deleted it, added what I really ate and I'm 100 calories under! Yaaay!

Three nights in a row, starting tonight, I will be in a bar/club atmosphere and I will be budgeting my wine/martini intake accordingly, so as to keep it clean.  I'm eating fruit for breakfast and this week I have cut out pastries-baked goods-sweets-ice cream, at least for now.  Maybe it's just a phase, but it feels pretty good.  I felt so crap about blowing it earlier, physically but also mentally.  Stay strong, people!  Nancy

Ok, I need a restart. A friend and I were bored, so we went to Denny's (there is nothing else to do here late at night), and almost every clean eating rule I had pretty much went out the window. Today is the 26th and I plan on starting over from today.

i am still here sorry i have not checked in in a while my baby was really sick and now i am sick so i have not been on but i am still clean and good i am only down to 200 not very good but i have not had time to workout or any thing. i am making time this week. have a great day lisa
