howard, you're a little defensive about gender equality and stuff.  i don't really know all about the roots of that, but it's ok.  i attribute it to the fact that you highly value equal treatment and you strongly and sincerely wish that the genders understood each other and that there were less conflict between them

if i'm wrong about that, i'm sorry - i don't take it personally when you get defensive about that sort of stuff
