| Clean Eating Challenge | ||

| Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it. I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me?? There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!! All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date. A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself Let's be honest with each other & keep each other eating clean k? The PRIZE to the winner? Well that's easy - weight loss!!!!!!!!! (or maintenance for those at that stage!) Let's do this! Dee ************************************************ Here's the list of all signed up & the new rules: (let me know if I missed you) If you lose your mind & cheat, just let me know. Then you can re-start from the next day. I'll simply unbold your name, along with updating your new start date. After being clean for a week after a re-start, I'll re-bold your name. So you always have a chance to feel like you are succeeding. Also, if you just don't feel like you want to partake in the challenge anymore, can you let me know so I can remove your name from the list? Thanks!! Anyone not checking in for one week (December 25 - December 31) will be removed from the challenge. Good luck all! People's names in bold have been going the longest or have not restarted for at least a week - way to go!!!!!!!!

I'm still eating clean-- to an even higher degree, lately! I've finally cut out: -Refined Sugar, (unless I can't avoid it and it's baked into my healthy food!) and candy -Caffeine, aside from tea. -All dairy (unless it's food baked with milk or such) -Meat (I used to eat only fish and seafood, with turkey once every month or so, but recently all meat has started to make me ill) So hoorah, I'm feeling so much better... and so much more satisfied with my meals. A bit of brown rice with fruits, veggies, and beans/nuts goes a long way, as opposed to a small slice of cheese pizza with a gazillion calories! |

ok Dee had alittle more cake last night
I need a restart gonna but I am sticking too it and sending the rest of the cake home with my daughters friends . lol |

So far so good. I ate until I was full yesterday and then forgot about food. Love it when that happens. Dropped a little over a pound overnight, so maybe the price I pay for my recent binging won't be for too long. The trend is still higher than it was though. I'll be happier when that's going in the right direction too. Have to admit, it didn't hurt to have taken the "clean eating" challenge. What a great idea. |

Ok, I had a super time yesterday doing my 5K race & the mini rodeo events (see my journal). Obviously being on a horse all day doesn't allow you to eat much, but I had brought a Vector bar which I snarfed down at 10:30 or so and didnt' eat the rest of the day till I got home after 5!!! I was famished!!! But I wasn't about to eat the nasty-ass burgers at the rodeo grounds or their hot dogs either. They had no healthy choices. So I just ate about the equivalent to 2 meals when I got home.

| Still doing good! Went to the drive in last night but instead of buying their junky food we just packed some healthy, yummy foods and I stayed at my minimum for calories of the day. Yay! | ||

I'm so excited I've officially gone a WHOLE WEEK clean... (7 days baby!) and I'm still going strong!

| I'm still going, even despite the picnic I got draged to where the closest thing to a veggie was the potato chips lol that wasnt my best day by far but I didnt blow it either, I had to eat since we were there all day so I for the whole day I had a hamburger (no bun) and 2 hot dogs (no buns), but it wasn't to bad I just ate a big salad and an orange when I got home. I didn't even touch the smores or marshmallows or the cakes or cupcakes or any of the other loads of junk they had, I even passed on the chicken marinated in beer and bbq sauce and then drenched in more homemade BBQ. hope everyone else is doing good as well. | ||

You guys are all doing awesome!!! I love reading how you all resist things!!!
We are going to perform at a fair starting on Wednesday & I am going to put my restart date on Wednesay. It's just too crazy busy to worry about eating right while I get everything done that I need to get done before we go. But once we get there I should be able to eat clean even better than at home. I'm not sure if the hotel has internet, if it does, I'll check in. but if not I won't be able to check in till Monday. So please forgive my lack of updates/comments till then. Still clean!
I always tend to eat a little more than usual when I'm with my fiance which he thinks is funny because, in his words, "Don't girls usually eat less around their boys?" Sure... if he wasn't such a snacker and didn't make such yummy garlic quesaidillas. =3 1800 is my limit for daily calories and I am well below that so I feel good. |

Still eating clean! I've eaten approximately between 1,200 and 1,300 everyday since I've joined this challenge (all four days ago... haha), and I'm feeling good! When I have an urge to binge, I just think of how badly I don't want to post " I need a restart."
It's so hard! Feels great though. =) |
