| HI! My name is Laura and i am 5-5 and 235 lbs as of today. I did weigh 240 almot 2 weeks ago. I am counting calories cuz I do not know what ele to do. When i gave birth, I only weighed 201 lbs! My son is 5(his bday is halloween). I cant believe i have put on so much lately. I have high blood pressure so I am on Diovan. I am also on protonix( for heartburn). I took myself off depo provera lat Sept and currently have the IUD, Mirena. Birth control was part of it but that is why I switched to IUD. I am taking it slow, and watching what I eat. I guess I am supposed to stay under 1700 calories and I walked 20 minutes today. I hate exercise now but I have to do it to lose weight the old fashioned Way! if you have any suggestions, please tell me.... |

Oooh, chinese food, now you've hit my weakness! I don't miss pizza and french fries all that much but oh, egg rolls, sweet and sour pork, I better quit now, my mouth is watering. Good for you hye that you still lost, and so much! See guys, we really can indulge on occasion and still lose.

I had just bought some on Friday and you kept me from going overboard with it. I guess it's supposed to be good for you, but I knew it has a lot of sugar so I'll stick to small amounts. welcome mathwiz! Here's wishing you luck, christbaptiste! Tabby, hey, take a little road trip out here to OR and I'll give you directions to the store in Portland where I got the birks. hee hee. Good luck on your weigh in! There was a little shop I found at the mall when I went to the city the other day that had clothes that I just loved! Only thing is they don't have plus sizes so after I lose the weight (and win the lottery, not really in my price range!) I'll have to go back. Good day all! |

kt - I'm here! Sorry...I've been doing homework and since it's Monday, I had to go take a walk. I love it, it's so fresh out right now because we are in-between spring and summer. I walked for about 2 hours sometimes fast and sometimes not so fast and on my way home I had a ton of groceries I carried, does that count as weights?? Hahahaha!! I've closed the semester for two classes and now I have two more classes to go! Yeah!! |

| man i'm jealous...i'm only halfway through the quarter and I have 2 midterms tomorrow! I'm leaving work early so I can hopefully go home and study and not procrastinate anymore. i can find absolutely anything to do to keep me from studying, which means I will probably have a very clean apartment by tomorrow haha | ||

KT I completely know what you are talking about! I have a "work at your own pace" sort of class and have procrastinated so terribly that I have two papers to write TONIGHT and have to work with my other classes as well...BLAH... I find it funny that I work better under pressure such as procrastination than if I were to do it all orderly... LOL
I want to get in SOME exercise today, but honestly do not know when or how! Any ideas? I am so excited I start coaching my all star cheer team again tomorrow and I will be able to condition and warm up and stretch with them as much as I can... Will help! KT you reminded me that I need to clean... THANKS! Does anyone know why I gained a pound? I have been eating very well. My nutritional grade is A for the past few days but I gained weight! Don't understand... I walked for four hours around a swap meet and then went swimmin for 30 minutes yesterday... Anyone have any ideas? |

| I don't think I could do school online. I know I don't have the discipline for that. I need the interaction. I get a lot out of peoples' expressions and tones. Yeah, I'm a people person. But, alas, you guys are probably off and busy now. I'm trying to limit myself of how much I peek in here during the day. It's hard, you guys are addicting! :) | ||

ok so i did it thank you all for your fingers crossed for me ((((hugz)))) lost 2 pounds and another 5 1/4 inches so i wasnt as bad as i thought!!

who was it that said you guys are adicting????I agree. I was out of the house Saturday, Sunday, and Today and I thought about how everyone was doing and what I was going to have to post. I am so happy for you guys...losing wieght...losing inches...or just sticking with it, knowing you will lose the weight soon.
Today was a weird day for me...But so far I have only had 1712 calories which is good. I could whine for an hour here but.....please know that I appreciate being part of the group... |

wow...I have missed a lot of new people...I can't name names yet, either, but you are all doing so terrific! Keep up the good work and enjoy the rewards...be it big or small, we are all getting there in our own time!! Woohoo...itsmy 2 pounds...wtg!!! A trip to OR to visit blue? woohoo...a vacation and some birkies...lol Chinese food is my weakness...I love it...and the buffet...oh my goodness...I agree with everyone else...avoid it at all costs...I can't do just a little at any buffet, but chinese is my fave... Ginny...so good to be back...I will write and respond to your e-mail tomorrow probably...just been busy, busy, busy... Okay...the official first weigh-in at WW...are you ready...5.2 pounds!!! Can you believe it? I know it is water weight, but do you know how happy I was? I couldn't believe it!! I stuck to it all week...no cheating...no going over my points...no soda (boy do I want a Coke)...all my water every day...fruits and veggies...I am so darn proud of myself right now...lol...now I just need to incorporate some exercise...there is just so much going on all the time...kids have sports...hubby has been sick and missing work...grrrrrrrr...but I am doing it this time!!! |

| hey everybody. guess what...i don't have a whine today! i lost part of the extra i put back on..4/10 of a lb, but hey, it's a loss! i ate so much yesterday that i broke even, and today i have a huge deficit...go figure! oh well. congrats and kudos to all the losers today. i'm tired, goin ta bed early. nite all! | ||

Wow! Great news all around!! Well, I have to tell you guys, the first semester I took online, I didn't know if I could do it either. I'm a people person as well. However, now, I prefer it online. It doesn't disrupt the rest of my life. I can study when it good for me and you do have to be disciplined. It's definitely not for everyone. Next year, I plan on going to the "brick and mortar" as my husband calls it, traditional school setting. I'm sure I'll have a re-adjustment period with that as well. I just realized something...I can be disciplined about school but, not food?? Life sure is funny! Alright...good night you guys...I'll see you tomorrow and yes, we are all addicting!! I check in quite a bit in a day unless I'm really into homework...hahaha! |

Hey! Awesome job to everyone with the weigh in's yesterday! Very impressive, both pounds and inches! And much agreed on the whole "a loss is a loss is a loss" concept. Every little bit helps..... Itsmy - great job! It's such a great feeling when you realize that something actually has become a good habit!! Glad you enjoyed yourself! Bqueen - Just wanted to say that I agree with others who said your 1lb might be muscle gain. Walking for 4 hours and then swimming for 30 minutes - Holy cow!! That's great! I can't even imagine having that type of stamina. I was talking about that with one of my friends, and I honestly don't think that I could walk for 4 hours if someone had a gun to my head. Seriously. I know that doesn't say much for me, but just wanted to let you know that I was very impressed. I'm still at the stage where it seems like a big deal to park at the far side of the parking lot at work and when I go shopping.... But, you have to start somewhere, right? OK, enough out of me. Just wanted to log in quickly and say, "Hi!" to everyone. You really are very addicting, but I love it!! Now I have to go take part in a very boring conference call - yippee!!
