good morning, ladies!  ( :

Had an awesome jog this morning and am planning to have an even more awesome day at work. 

After the sodium spike of this weekend from Chili's, I thnk I am firmy back at 169 and hopefully moving in a downward motion. 

How about a challenge?  --  daily exercise of some kind today, tomorrow and Friday AND at least 64 oz of water?  (I try for 100 oz at work and more at home)

Anyone?  =P

I'm in. Friday will be toughest to get in actual execise but I think can do it! I put down my coffee and got a glass of waterTongue out

The scale apears to be moving. These are number I haven't seen years(at least 13) I really hope I have broken through my plateau.

I am just going to say I maintained at 169.   I did -- but it has been up and down all week, so I am claiming the most recent as a success. 

Luck to you for the weigh in!  Only a few more weeks until July 4th!

Hi Girls,

I'm feeling much much better about my image today.  I had a friend stop by I hadn't seen in a year, and she was stunned to see how much I'd shrunk, but said I looked wonderful.  So that made me feel better.  We took pictures and I was very pleased with the pictures.  I looked healthy and my complexion showed it too.  I must be doing something right I guess. 

 I put the new pictures on my fridge, next to the pictures taken at Christmas.  WOW!  I have indeed shrunk.  I could not believe the difference in my face and neck.  Then I took out my drivers licence and a club membership card , to look those pictures over, and what a difference 25 pounds makes!  I can see contours on my face now, and my arms are even looking great from all the toning.  My thighs are so small compared to last year at this time, I am just so thrilled that I have been able to lose this weight.  I can still lose a few, but I am grateful for how far I've come in six months.

 I was just so tired the other day on 5 hours of sleep that I did indeed look a little rough around the edges.  I found out we need to be exercising our face and neck muscles along with the rest of our body, to prevent loose skin.  So believe me, I am right on top of that, lol.  I started out in size 8 petite jeans and my size 4's are very very loose.  It's time to start looking for some new jeans.  But the sizes are so weird now.  I went and checked out jeans at some of the stores, and they now come in size Zero? 

 All I could find was zero long, zero regular, zero slim...........no zero short for my short legs, so they said they can order jeans for me if I decide on a style I like.  So that's going to be my project.  A few years ago sizes were 2, 4 6, 8 etc............someone said they now call 2 a zero now, because it messes with a womans head when she's shopping.......makes her feel way cool to be a zero?!  I'd be happy to have a pair that were size 2, thank-you! Talk to you all tomorrow when we weigh in.  Have a great evening!

 I almost cried when I saw it this morning! I haven't been in the 150's since I was 16ish.

Wow, I did have caffienated coffee this morning.  I usually stick to decaf....a bit wired with caffiene and excitement, oh and sunshine!!

I was so shocked I kept moving the scale to different areas of the house to make sure it was in balance.  I did not really exercise that much this week because I have had a stuffy nose....not sure if it is allergies or a cold.  I have been like this for over a week so I am thinking allergies.

I have been eating the same things everyday and keeping my calories at 1300.  I do switch it up on the weekends because my husband likes to either go out or bbq.  I am keeping my brewski consumption down.....there is just something about sitting on the patio and having a beer after work!!

Hi Girls,

Congratulations on all your achievements!  :)  I am exactly 1 pound less than last Friday, which is a miracle in itself.  I made a Thanksgiving style dinner, and really enjoyed it too!  So to compensate I walked 5 miles, and did cardio dance for a while too.  I was only 2 ounces less this morning than I was yesterday, but it could have been much much worse! 

 Today I've been eating oranges,  bananas, pineapple, grapes, cherries..............and I ate some of the Turkey from the Turkey roast I baked too.  I'm going to eat some cherries in a while and have a vegetable salad, and then a vegetable stir-fry with some sauted chicken breast strips.  I'm still avoiding flour and sugar and dairy as much as I can. I only eat limited amounts when I do indulge.  Everyone have a wonderful weekend.  I hope you all have sunny beautiful skies.  :)

hi everyone

re challenge: i keep to (my) previous challenge to walk as mich as i can. walked for about 2.5 hrs today as i had an unexpected extra time during the afternoon. feels nice. am down a few more pounds (weighing 202 now), and feel like sticking to my diet - i love the feeling of being more energetic and just smaller

I am sticking close to 169, but I am also stickng to all my water goals and daily cardio commitment to running, so it will fall off eventually.

169 sounds like a quite normal weight, so you maybe do not need to stress iver losing it quickly - good that you have this relaxed attitude:)

Yeah ---   I stress sometimes ---whenever I get into the "weigh every day" frame of mine mostly.    BUT ---  I realized a month or so agao, I feel and look pretty ok in my clothes.   I can try stuff on without wanting to cry (including swim suits).   I know what to eat and I love working out with the doggie.   I like my water and do not miss diet soda at all.   I enjoy cooking with freshfoods --and better yet, I like eating them.   ( ;    isn;t that change in thinking what this is all about????   this is a lifestyle for me ---  when did I become an infomecial, but it made me smile.

So much for my 3.5lb loss last week. 4 came back this weekend! I know its just water- way too much sodium all weekend and TOTM.. So totday its water water water. If my throat will allow it. Its so sore. It started last night. I squeek when I speak and I have to go to court again today. Hopefully today my friend will at least get to see her son without me supervising. She's always been a good mom she just had some major issues with his dad. She has been sober for more than 7 months and has help dealing with her anger towards her X.

Gotta get the kids up and off to school. Last week! YAY!

hi all,

i am feeling really good today. my (postponed) checkup at the endocrinologist went wery well. she seemed pretty impressed with my weight loss (about 61 lbs to date). also, all the blood test results seemed very good (cholesterol etc. are great), and she might even put me on a lower dose of thyroid medication in a few months (next checkup is february and she said if i go on losing it might be good to lower the dose). i felt especially good as she is not the nicest lady on the planet ( she is a top notch specialist so i have decided long ago i might as well endure her not-so-pleasant remarks about my weight being unhealthy etc:) and now was really nice to me, hehe.

 

weight loss is going very slow these days, i guess it was to be expected though, and i think also that it might be good for my skin not to shrink too fast. i did expect a lower weight this morning as i walked uphill a lot on both saturday and sunday and ate 1200 cals, and lost only about under one pound, BUT the main thing is, it is going down. i will not cry if tomorrow the scale will show a higher number:)))

it is true the weight comes off in lumps sometimes - i weight 2 lbs less today, ie am at 199 (hooray) lbs and the bmi is 30 which is far better than 40 which is about where i started
