I love when the #'s are down. This is a new one. So close to breaking into the 150's. I can't believe it!
I lost another pound this week, so 27 pounds lost since January 1st, just three more to go, hooray! I-mom I hope your daughter's doing ok. Ouch, spider bites are painful!
I spent a lot of time at the bookstore and library this week looking for books and magazines with up to date nutrition, health information. So much information out there!
I purchased a pair of wrist/ankle weights by Danskin. Just 1.5 pounds each. I'm going to put them on my wrists before I walk. I did an hour of cardio/dance tonight. :) I love to put a good CD in and dance! It's Friday, yippee! Here are my stats. Hope everyone has a great weekend with beautiful sunny skies. :)

Thanks Rachel, Bailey(my daughter) is almost better. I've never seen a bite like that. The red and swollen part has gone finally. The blister is looking better too.
My run today was awesome! I saw tons of birds and turtles, a beaver and a bunch of butterflies. The butterflies were running with me. They kept flying around my head. Took me just over an hour to run the 11km. Looking forward to doing it again.
Heck yeah! I actually have about fifteen to go before I reach my goal, but! Ten would be nice too! So! I AM IN!

Alrighty! Yeah it's summer vacation and I have the leighway to slack off and perhaps gain instead of lose, but why not work even harder and lose the amount I want to? I.. WE ALL can do it!

I did not gain (or lose) while gone, so I am happy we have a month until the deadline.

well, today after work is the start of a whole new workout for me- i had been concentrating on running for a little while- 10k done on memorial day- and it felt great! Not that I am letting the running drop completely, but changing things up.
I'm looking forward to doing something new....

I did not post for 2 weeks!!
I have been stuck at 133 both Fridays (23rd and 30th).
I am going to at least try to break through this number by July 4th...lol.

I still pop in here and see how you guys are doing :) I'm still stuck at 139... If I could get to 135 by July 4, I would be ecstatic! I just started riding my bike to work today, so hopefully that will do the trick! :)
and, I found a tricycle I want to buy to ride to get groceries and such; it has a basket on the back ;)

Hello ladies!! I just up and quit and dropped this challenge and my own personal challenges. :( I just stopped. Luckily I didn't gain in the past 6 weeks and still managed to bring the weight down about 3 lbs but that was only in the past week when I started realizing how much I had just given up. I just got lazy is all I can say, nothing major happened to disrupt my life. I hope to be able to still come back here and get motivated again, as I realized that a big reason for my lack of enthusiasim was not logging on to this site anymore and keeping my motivation going reading and responding here.
Hope everyone has been well, I am at least going to try to go back and catch up with some postings and see how everyone has fared. Have a GREAT week!!!!

I mowed my lawn today after work, and I feel great. I know it is not the best cardio in the world, but I was hella sweaty and slightly out of breath when I got done, so I am counting it. And I plan to get up and run tomorrow before Summer Academy starts.
GOALS:
Jog, drink a lot more water tomorrow than I did today (just busy and out of the habit), do lots of laundry, pack a lunch, eat a sensible dinner both tonight and with J's parents tomorrow....
Missed you all while I was gone!
OH -- and I totally want a three wheel bicycle too!!!!!!!!!!!1 (where did you find it, krrpt???)
mowing the lawn is a pretty good exercise :)
I found the tricycle at work.. Haven't bought it yet but there is an ad up for it and I want it! They have "best offer" posted... How much do you think a 1973 Huffy tricycle would be worth? I don't think they are selling it as a collector's item... I'd pay $30-$40 for it... Hmm...
My goals for today:

go to yoga after work
I had a great weekend, it was our wedding anniversary. We took the day off to make a long weekend and went on a 20 mile bike ride followed by a 20 mile kayak ride. I think I'm in ok shape just need to weigh less!
After I mowed the lawn last night, I went for a 4 mile jog anyway! go me! : D
hi medipower -- see above, but you are a hot stud I bet! I cannot imagine riding a bike 20 miles....... and then kayaking?? Never tried that, but sounds like a blast and a great romantic (albeit sweaty) getaway. Happy anni!!! ( :

Thinthought, I am with you. I cannot get up early in the morning. I woke up at 6:30 and got up to walk on the treadmill but I only got as far as the kitchen table and told my husband I was practicing getting up. I still get morning sickness (just feel yucky) if i get up too early and my youngest is 16 years old!! I will get up early tomorrow because I have a project at work (Oh, and will I be crabby); so we will see if I can do it on Thursday ![]()
Alright... only 2 sleeps until we go away... no budging on the scale this week, so the big challenge will be eating ok. Toronto will be fine... but I'm worried about Montreal. my bf is so excited to go eat all the horrible things he doesn't get in Vancouver anymore... poutine, giant pizza, major greek food.... yikes! who knows what else :p
