150's group...daily updates poohct

Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...

I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.

Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....

Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

I am back after a long weekend! Still holding at 153.5! It is slow going, but atleast it is in the right direction!!! I am pre TTOTM so I am DYING for sweet stuff! And I eat it too! I just count it in my calories and need to work out! But I am also sick with a chest cold! YUCK! Everyone sounds like they are doing GREAT! My weekend downfall was cake! My friends 40th bday was friday and my sons 13th was Sunday and he had a party with friends on Sat. So that meant cake Fri, sat and Sun!!! Just small pieces but.......!
Well keep up the great work all!

Hi everyone, I'm only about 2 weeks into my "lifestyle change" (I'm tired of dieting, it never works, I'm just trying to eat healthier!). I went into college this year around 170-175, and now I'm 159 (still teetering on the 160s border, but I'm hoping by Easter to be solidly in the 150s!) I'm 5'9 and my goal weight is 149. I was reading the posts here, and it seems like a great support group, and something that would really keep me motivated. Up for a new member?

good morning, all.  Welcome bernzy!  this group (and all the similar ones, to my knowledge) is/are very supportive and great to be a part of.  it's been really nice to have this outlet.  sometimes, the other people in our worlds are not concentrating on their eating/exercise habits quite as much as we are, and this is a nice place to talk together.  Congrats on the choice to make your lifestyle change--going to college is such a big change, but you can do it : )

I'm still at 151--hoping to be in the 140's group sometime next week!

149.0 today, I have no idea how that is possible, I had a terrible day yesterday and hit my maintence calories with Ice Cream.  My parents room has randomly lost power, the elliptical trainer is in there so... no working out for me today.  I guess that is best since I think I have a head cold. 

We will see what the scale says tomorrow, then I may get to move to the 140s!  I know I will see you all there soon =)

hey guys just checking in, still no loss for me but hey its better than a gain, welcome bernzy i think you will do great and you have the right attitude to make your goal.

i got my one of my girlfriends on here which is a great support she and i both want to loose 10 lb and im hopeing to get real close by my daughter 2nd bday at the end of april i see no reason why i cant do it..unless i raid there easter baskets..lol j/k well maybe ;) anyway she and i are going to get together once a week on tuesdays and do some serious walking while our husbands grill us some yummy food, great motivation and we get to spend time with friends. well you guys have a great rest of your day. see a slimmer all of us tomarrow i hope.

Great Job nocturne and ekathleeng!! I bet we will all move to the 140s together!!! I am waiting on my trendline to get to 140 as suggested by unicat to move. My trend is at 150.15, so I am almost there!

I am at 149 today, I lost my weekend lb..haha. I had a great grilled chicken salad for lunch, but my friend had pizza....and I really really wanted that too...but I resisted!! Little victories right??

yea im gald she joined to she is already at the weight i want to be 143 i think but its all good..we both need the support and she has been were we are now..  again good luck everyone, i really hope by sticking with it this week/weekend i can see some results even a oz would be nice, but i kow we all have our moments of nothing..lol now i know how you felt carrie87. we can do it..

well I had not updated in a few days so I though I should pop over here! Today I weighed in at 154!!! Now that the weather is nice, I have started walking in the mornings and so far I think its helping.  Today its raining so I cant walk.. bummer.. I was looking farward to it too.. Anyhow... hope everyone has a wonderful day!! Im off to start drinking water, water, water and more water..LOL.....Take care!

hey everyone! I'm kind of in a procrastinating mood right now--so why not post an update? I'm really resisting the temptation to weigh myself every morning, because I end up getting frustrated because my weight jumps around so much, so I've decided it'd be better for me to weign in once a week. Today I was good at breakfast (bowl of fiber-y cereal and some fruit) but I just ate a HUGE wrap for lunch--carved turkey, roasted veggies, and shredded cheese, yum! But I feel all stuffed and guilty now...

Hoping to go for a run later this afternoon though. The weather's really nice, but I'm still fighting off an infection in my big toe since I dropped a sofa on it last Saturday (weird, I know), so I don't know if I want to bother it any further. Maybe I'll do the bike in the gym instead? Anyway, I'm really glad I found this site and group, it's great motivation! Keep up the good work everyone!!

well I dont know whats up with this but Im not complaining by any means!! But today I was down  again to 153.2!! I just cant believe it!! You should see my weight chart in my profile! Its like, good bye trend line..LOL. Yesterdays foods looked like this:

I did have milk with some of those meals too and I just didnt log it. .. so that would put me some where around 1300 for the day. I swear Im eating I just dont know how this weight is coming off...but I shouldnt get to happy or it might slow down!...
