140/130 club timbergrove
  Jul 06 2006 17:39
Anyone in this grouping looking to drop from 140 to 130's.  We can all use support.  Today I am focusing on all the food groups.  Exercise would be good, but I won't be able to since I am working from 9 to 10:30.  A Super long day.  I hope I can stay focused, when I pass the fast food chaines on my travels today.

wow you can tell its the weekend here, lol..  plus i guess there are three people off on trips, right??  hope everyone is enjoying themselfs :)

so i am still at 144.5, loooking to see a drop ANY time now lol...  at least i know why, due to last saturdays dinner and then thursdays extra stuff.. now to just get rid of it.. :)  have a stamp camp i am going to tonight, i know she will have junk food there, but am going to do my best to avoid it, since hubby is working today i have no excuse not to be good :P   tomorrow may be a different story though lol..
#803 unicat Mar 25 2007 07:26
hmmm sure is quiet here :P   had fun at the stamp camp, they had pizza there and i didnt touch it :) Yay me :)  i added a new picture, from tonight, to my photo collage in my pics if you all want to check it out :)  dee,.. you may remember me talking about that purple shirt i liked sooo much but couldnt fit in when i bought it??  this is the shirt i have on :)  hope everyone is doing good this weekend and watching their intake, and burned calories :)
#804 courtswim4life Mar 25 2007 16:24
Unicat- Good job on staying strong in front of the pizza!  I took a look at your photo collage again.  I know I've said this before but your pictures are such a great motivation for me!

My friends and I have a tradition that on Saturday nights we go to breakfast after all the pubs have closed.  So, technically, it's early Sunday morning.  The menu is very limited and I used to get a ham and cheese omelette and potato wedges.  I still can't resist going to breakfast w/ them but I ordered just a cheese omelette this time and only ate half of my potato wedges.  I think I may have still gone over my calories for the day but at least I'm making some small strides right? However, should I count those calories for Sunday or Saturday?  Any thoughts?
#805 unicat Mar 25 2007 18:07
thanks courts :)

hmmmm... i dont know what i would count that as lol.. you havent gone to bed yet when you eat it, right??  and you get a decent sleep after right??  then you weigh yourself when you get up in the morning??  i think i would count it on saturdays??  i dont know, thats kinda of confusing lol...

well i lost a lb :) yay :) 143.5 this morning whooohooo :) hubby is off today, we are planning on eating breakfast out at Dennys so i am going to have the fit-fare veggie omelette with english muffin...  i told him thats the only time we are eating out today though lol...  anyhow.. gotta hurry up and get my exercise in before he gets home from the boat... (he had to stay there yesterday so hasnt been home in 24 hrs.. ugh..) might be back after my shower, as he is gonna be home in about an hour and half....
#806 carabo Mar 25 2007 19:22
Congratulations on the loss Courtswim and Unicat !!! Way to go and keep at it :D !!

Unicat - hope you got your exercise in :D..

Courtswim ; I'd put it in as Sunday morning.. And count my calories for the rest of sunday.

I'm doing great ! I climbed this mountain that had always been a hard climb - and it was easier than ever before  - to my pleasant surprise :).. Maybe I should get over my fears and do this sort of thing more often :D..
#807 unicat Mar 25 2007 19:37
yay glad the mountain was easier.. :)   and yup i got my exercise in :) hubby is just now on his way home... i am gonna have to reconfigure my calories for today, as i forgot to put more protein shakes in the fridge, so wasnt able to drink one after my exercise... :(  oh well..  just means i have more room to eat something else lol..  besides the "biggest loser 2 workout" that i did this morning is for toning, but i dont know how hard it works my muscles compared to my taebo.. i definitely need it after taebo, with the resistance bands..  what do you guys (ladies) think?  should i drink one after my biggest loser one also?? i have been, just wondering if its really needed.. i know you need to replace lean muscle with protein as you are burning the fat and working the muscles..  so i guess i probably do, but one day isnt gonna hurt..

hope everyone is having a wonderful sunday :)

Ok, the goal for this week is to swim 3 times, bicycle 3 times and start running again!  I put up some pics finally if anyone is interested.  I tried to choose ones that actually show how heavy I was at 155.  B/c I'm so tall, I can hide my weight gain a little more easily.

The picture w/ me in a dress looks more impressive than I actually am at this point.  My body is very top heavy (which I've become an expert at concealing...especially the big tummy!)  So don't be fooled!  I still have alot of weight to lose!

Another goal of mine is to lose 2 1/2 lbs by April 3rd.  Because I'm meeting some friends in Italy for Spring Break and Italy is the place that I first gained my weight at.  I just couldn't resist the wonderful pasta, pizza and gelato!  I need to lose weight before I go and just try to maintain it while I'm there!

Good luck to everyone this week!

Hi all - busy weekend and as usual, I completely fall off the wagon with going out to dinner with hbby and/or cooking us nice meals. But I didn't go far off this time. However, I'm disappointed I didn't work out more. 1 day out of 3. Very unlike me!!!

I need to get motivated and g work out right now.

I keep thinking I will post pics sometime soon....

Hope everyone had a good weekend!
#811 unicat Mar 26 2007 03:33
courtney i dont see any pics...  maybe you need to make them public?? good luck on the goal for this week... i would love to taste the pasta and pizza in italy..  i bet it is much better then the "italian" food we eat here...  lol..   we have discussed being stationed over there, but it wont be any time soon if we do request it.. :(

coral - did you post something?? lol.. all i see is a dot.. ??

jenniferdiane, i know how you feel, the weekends seem to be soooooooo much harder then the weekdays...

i think i did pretty good today, i kept basically to what i planned on eating. i did eat a pretzel, with some mustard, that probably isnt going to be good for me, but it was in my plans for the day, so its not like i ate more calories... just carbs are sooooooo bad to me.. lol..  still got dinner ahead of me, its just gonna be a salad for me, so shouldnt be too hard lol..

It's so good to hear how great you are all doing! Keep up the good work!

Over the weekend I went down .2, I'm at 138.6 this morning. I was down to 137.2 (NEW LOW!!) Sunday morning but I went to a barbeque last night and had a burger, yum. I also had 2 drinks there. I didn't eat so bad during the day, normal breakfast + a 1/4 of a cherry breakfast cupcake with cream cheese :), I had an awesome salmon salad for lunch from Panera, but shared a chocolate cookie with my sister... yum! We walked around the mall for like 4 hours though, so that was good. I had some chips at the barbeque, but, I didn't completely stuff myself with them! I had a few here and there, but the bowl was sitting in front of me and that is usually hard to overcome. I also think I'm showing such a gain from yesterday b/c we didn't eat till around 830... Yikes... I go to be around 10, so that probably wasn't helpful. I'm starting with my 8lb weights tonight for my workout so I am psyched (sp?) about that!

More posted in my journal....

Did a little too much nibbling over the weekend, so I didn't lose any weight. However, I'm still here! Which means I didn't gain any back and feel the need to rejoin the 150's group. Not that I don't love them there.... but I sure don't wanna go back!

Chocolate and chips were the demons this week. I don't mind that I ate it, it's that I kept nibbling without counting it that was the real issue. I've got to remind myself to just weigh it out and have a real portion. This sneaking around business sure isn't fooling the scale!
#814 courtswim4life Mar 26 2007 14:04
Can anyone access my pics yet?  It says "Public" next to each pic in my gallery but on my profile page it doesn't have a link to them.  Curious.
#815 kiigan Mar 26 2007 14:16
hey everybody! i'm back! didn't read all the posts though--a little daunting and i've got a bad cold so reading a computer screen right now is a little difficult :) LOL :)  Makes me a little dizzy.

court--maybe you need to make one a default picture or something.  usually the link appears below your default picture in the profile. just something to try.

but i'm down at 141!!!! woohoo!!! no idea why!!! i actually LOVED my friend's scale in San Francisco, cuz THAT one said i was at 138 this weekend, LOL :) And a couple of my friends commented on my weight loss, so that was fun too :)  Didn't get any workouts in, but I'm not feeling too bad about that.  I got a really bad cold the day I flew out and it's still lingering, so I think the few days off did me good.  Plus I was always tired and I dont' think my body would've handled a hard workout very well.  I'm going to go for a jog after work today, but I might throw in some walking to make it a little easier on my body.

I also bought this great new spring coat since I didn't have one that has a belted waist, and it makes me look really thin!  Plus, it's a Small!!! WEEE!  I have a smallish waist, so this really helps to accentuate that :)  I made that coat my reward for fitting into size 9's in juniors :)

Kiigan- Good tip!  I think my profile pics should be accessible now.  So are you 1/2 Japanese?  I'm 1/4 Japanese.  My mom was born in Tokyo while my grandpa was stationed there during the Korean War.  Sadly my Japanese isn't up to par.  I took a semester in college but I don't think I'll ever be fluent.

The two weeks I spent in Japan were the healthiest two weeks of my life!  It was like going through a detox program! LOL!  7 cups of green tea a day, seaweed, miso soup and unprocessed food....I felt like a new person.

Congrats on the weightloss as well!!
#817 kiigan Mar 26 2007 14:50
court--great pics! you look awesome in your 143 picture!

and i know what you mean about healthy eating in japan!!!  i lost about 15 lbs there without even trying! then proceeded to gain it all back plus some when i came home, lol :)
#818 srd1214 Mar 26 2007 15:06

Whoohoo! I'm back after taking the week off--literally!  I exercised religiously, but I'm afraid my diet went kapoop--back on track today!

Brigitte, I checked out your purple tee--it looks great on you!  You must be so proud of yourself!

I am setting a goal of drinking 100 oz of water today! I'll let you all know if I float away lol!
