Yes i did..... the first one in 20yrs LOL. My two yr old also caught her first one within the first 10 minutes of fishing. Her expectations were very high after that. Every time she reeled it in and it didnt have a fish she said "Oh Man". My son didnt catch any thing but had a good time poking around in the dirt and bushes. My oldest caught about 8 but none were big enough to take home. It was fun and that was the point...I dont think we would eat them anyway.
Snakes are back.... we found one in the garden and identified it as a texas brown snake. We set it lose behind the fence and then our cat showed up later that evening with a little present for us. Not the same one but I think there is a nest near by. Weight is down so Im working hard to keep it that way. Think I had some water weight. HUbby was sweet last night and brought me a glass of wine while I was taking a bath. So I went over cals a little but I couldnt say no. |

Hi all,
how is everyone doing?? sorry about my absence for the last little while. Work has been crazy, and the 2 bankholidays (St. Patricks Day & Easter) in a row really put the routine out. Other than that, life is good. Things with my boyfriend are really good. Spent Saturday at a spa with a friend - it was soooo relaxing. And it has helped put me back on the straight and narrow. Weight is 133, and have officially gotten back on the wagon as of today. Anyways, just wanted to say and prove that I havent forgotten about ye!!! Hope everyone is doing really well!! |

| Hi Gina, Ashton brought home all of the flat Stanley stuff so I got to look at all of it(makes me want to visit). There are still people that have sent the other kids back yet so they wont send Ashton's out again till they are all back. So not fair. Hers was going to a vineyard in California next that a cousin of my moms owns. I called them in December to ask permission and they were excited and started gathering things for it and now it looks like they wont even get it. Yea for getting back on the wagon!!!! | ||

Gina, I sure had been hoping we'd hear from you soon! Spa day with a friend sounds like a perfect gals day. Glad to hear you and bf doing well.
Cool Sarah that your a 'fun' mom - your kids will remember that! Willing to trade your snakes for my lizards, although still to cool for them to show their terrifying selves thankfully. Now with Kiki at Dad's and us not on a talking basis hoping wont slip inside or I will have to move :D. You'll be out of that winter mode soon Rachael, as active as you can be. You have made me so much more aware of salt - I actually find myself laying off it the closer I get to Thursdays but weekends not as strict. Planned to do an extra weigh in today for my monthly but since tomorrow is really the 1st, going then - trying to get as far away from my period and all additional hours of loss I can get since I went up on Thursday (slightly but still want my loss!:P). |

Please no april fools today - Im off (late) for month end weighin. I wasnt sure what you meant about slipping Rachael - maybe my salt comment? I meant taking in sodium - a pre Thursday concern but not as much weekends. Three inches is amazing !! Definitely something to be proud of :D.
Sarah, just one night out of a week and btw that sounds so good. Last night I was thinking of pasta, what itd be like to make a big plate for dinner - an old staple of the old diet. Then a small plate, but ended up with a zero plate of it LOL. It was funny though, as if I let my mind just go there. Sending strength your way Gina as you get on track. Heading off now with fingers crossed, expectations in check but hopeful thinking I make up for my slight gain last week with period fully behind me. |

| Aha - got you! No April fools for me - my bump from 339.3 to 340.1 was not appreciated but glad to say though not Thursday yet, ran in for month end and at 335.9. In reality, I believe half of that was probably lost last week but a bad weighin with period and all. Not expecting much for Thursday with it only 2 days but just glad to confirm Im on track. | ||

Thank you Rachael - soups sounds great for lunch (late lunch) and forgot about mine. Sometimes I feel like the women in front of the closet - what to Cant forget about those Chili's wraps either. Not one to spend money like that for lunch but they are really good and low cal. Rachael, do you know of anything to help with after higher salt intake - Ive heard to drink many fluids but didnt know if you had an experience as youve said it can be noticeable issue for you. |

Hi all, I'm Michele NJ 157lbs , 40yrs old, 5'1" Have done SBD for a couple years but never stuck with it and I wind up cheating after a week doing perfectly. All in all I wound up gaining 20lbs in 2 years, but my cholesterol is great. Now I really need to lose. Do you guys track calories also while staying on the SBD? Michele |

Hey all, Sarah, it was only 2 slices!! And you are entitled to a treat everynow and again, but maybe sneak the pumpkin bread into the hubby's lunchbox so that you wont be tempted!! Rachel, congrats on the measurements. And as for the soup, just drink plenty of water - wash that sodium right out. Jayne, dont envy you of your lizards. Nearly freaked the first time I seen them in Florida. Dont have them here (apart from in petshops) probably too cold!! Also, congrats on the weight loss!! Got an assessment done yesterday, and my bodyfat is about the same as it was the last time (25%). Started back properly at the gym last night - it was painful starting off, but by the end I felt great!! Healthy eating still going well thankfully. So keeping fingers crossed!! Welcome Michelle! |

Wow, how do you stay so low on sodium? I just realized how much sodium I eat from tracking on here and I don't add salt to anything. Even with watching I can't seem to go below 2000mg. What do you eat? Also while following the SBD do you guys stick to the rules when you go to stage 2? I mean coninue to eat the protein and vegie at a meal and also the good carb. For instance a bowl of high fiber cereal would be filling, do you also eat the 2 ounces protein and vegetable/oil? Where does lowfat cheese fit in? Can it be the protein in a meal? Sorry for all the questions, but since I have stuck to the principals but never lost weight I figured I must be doing something wrong here! Thanks, Michele |
