| hey everyone!!
since july 4th is around the corner i would like to be in top shape for swimsuit/bbq season :) i am looking for people with similar goals and stats to share accountability with and also to provide motovation and tips!! im 23 years old, im about 5'9" and weigh approx 160lbs....my goal is to be in the 145-150 range. i figure losing around 1.5-2 lbs. a week is achievable, and setting a final goal range within 5lbs. will allow more flexability and less room for failure. anyone else??? |

I am too in need of some friends to help me stay motivated to lose about 15 lbs by July 4th. I am 5'4" and 157 lbs and 27 years old. I have gained 5 lbs this last week and I am disappointed but determined to shed it off again. I don't know if that is because my monthly visitor should be starting soon or not. If I could lose 10-15 lbs by July 4th I would weigh around 142-147. I am finding my diet to be the problem with my weight loss. I am going to get control of it. I have fallen off the wagon within the last 3 days eating more calories than I thought that I did. I went from eating 1600 to 3400 on Saturday. Bad huh? But I figured that I burned almost 4900 calories with yard work alone that day. I never knew how hard preparing and laying sod could be. Anybody who can help me, I would be eternally grateful. Thank you. |

Well, after a pretty bad weekend, I weighed in this morning at 140 on the button, down two pounds since last monday, so im encouraged to keep it up, i really didnt feel like running yesterday evening but i made myself in the end so Its nice to see some results at least, I have been drinking a ton of water so that may have something to do with it I dont know, just a tip in case anyone is stuck and looking for something new to try.. I've one pound to go to reach my end of May goal and 5 pounds till I get to my end of June goal, so hopefully zig zagging the cals between 1200 and 1650 throughout the week will enable my metabolism to keep going! |

Down 3 more pounds for a total of 7 in the past two weeks! I am so glad I found this! Only 8 more to go to reach my goal for my niece's wedding. I tried on 14s yesterday and they *almost* fit!!!!! I was dancing in the dressing room. I haven't been under a size 16 since my third child was born- and he's 4! So my goal is the 8 more pounds, but also- I'd love to be wearing a size 14 at the wedding. |

Good morning everyone! Congratulations to those of you who lost this last week! And susieq, I have been doing the dressing room dance lately, too! It is much cooler here today, which is such a good thing, so I am hoping to feel much better than I have lately! I had a great back-to-workout yesterday, so I am hoping to get through the rest of the week without any breaks! My boyfriend and I have decided to start doing yoga together on the weekend, so that's something to look forward to! My plan for today: Have a wonderful day everyone! |

Good Morning all. I was a little depressed yesterday because my bad weekend really showed up on the scale, but I am determined to be back in the 150's soon enough. I am 5'7'' I am a larger frame, so I look good between 140-150. I was okay with myself when I was 155. So that is my goal for July 4th. Last week I weighed in at 166.5 but yesterday I was 170. :( All that alcohol and bad food this weekend. Or it could be my time of the month came on Sunday. I am not sure, but I had a good workout yesterday and I ate well too. Here is the plan for today. I have school tonight which means I only have a 30 mins lunch instead of an hour, so I will only be able to work out for 30 mins at lunch time today. Breakfast: 7 grain toast, egg whites, banana and 1 cup coffee Snack: Triscuits with salsa Lunch: ahi tuna (sushi) with a salad Snack: Grapefruit Dinner: Lean Cuisine |

Congats to everybody losing weight for this week. It sounds like some of you are very close to your short term goal weights and I know you will all reach them. It is going to be close to 85 degrees today so I am going to try and get out of the house and run for 1 mile or more, as long as it doesn't rain. It does look like it might. This is my plan for today: Breakfast: Banana, mixed nuts, coffee with protein mix in it. Lunch: Watermelon, PB Bread/Sandwich. Dinner: Shrimp, green beans, apple. Snack: Sugar Free/Fat Free Cherry Cordial Ice Cream Exercise: 45 min cardio, 30 min strength training, 15 min stretching Everybody keep up the great work you are all doing. |

I was feeling bad about coming on here and having a bad weekend, but now I am encouraged to see I wasn't the only one!! I weighed myself yesterday, and I actually seemed to have gained a pound - but I am bloated right now, so I am not going to let it get to me. They say that that's the best time to work out, so I am doing some sort of moderate - heavy exercise every day this week! Menu for me tomorrow: Breakfast: Special K Cereal with FF milk Snack: Trail Mix Lunch: Progresso Light chicken & vegetable soup Snack: Trail Mix or Light & Fit yogurt Dinner: Chicken breast with lettuce on wheat roll Snack: Strawberries and blackberries with light whipped cream Exercise: 30 min elliptical, 30 min strength training and stretching Good luck to everyone this week!! I hope I'll be as lucky/disciplined as some others who are on their way to meeting their goal!! |

Ugh. On Sat and Sun I was weighing in at 140 (2 lb loss) and now on monday and today I am back to where I started at 142! And I am not surprised really, I ate horribly the past few days. Its just so frustrating to start from scratch again! I still want to be 135 by the 4th of July and I think its POSSIBLE. But I am going to have to stick to my eating plans much better than I have been. Good workout this morning though! Ran and biked for 90 minutes! B: Oatmeal L: Chicken & spinach & apple S: frozen vegetables & left over brown rice D: Smart ones frozen dinner I WILL STICK TO THIS TODAY! :) |

Yesterday was bad. I had a work lunch where we ordered Thai food, and boy did I eat. After work I went out with some ladies and had 2 cocktails and this smoked salmon dish that shouldn't be too bad, but I just hate when I don't know the exact calories. Who knows what type of fattening things those chefs put in their perfectly nutritious foods to make it taste good. Anyway, today is a new day. I'm doing a hard workout today so hopefully the damage will not be too bad. B: peaches L: chicken pita wrap S: more peaches D: dry tuna sandwich on multigrain E: cardio to burn 450 calories and squats |

Yesterday was pretty good diet wise, but I didn't work out. And I said today would be the challange! I forgot my entire days food today (I am out of it...really tired) so I am going to need to buy food. A knawing pain in my stomach tells me "DEL TACO", but I will fight it! My plan for today: |

Hey guys! So our group has been pretty eye-catching b/c I could barely find it with all the new (similar) ones that popped up over the last few days! Soooo...yesterday, I realize I had one CRAZY physical day! To start, I lifted weights for 20 mins and then did 5 min. sprints throughout for a total of 30 min. cardio. Later I met a friend and we walked briskly in the beautiful weather for 25 mins and at night (I thought my day was ending...) I did my 15 min pilates/abs dvd. Well, ten min. later I was out the door going clubbing with my bffs-SO glad I went SUCH a blast. But now I know why i'm so tired! I mean, we danced for at least 2 1/2 hours straight and you sweat like crazy! Therefore I def underate yesterday so I might take it easy today and eat around 1400. Still not getting on that scale yet...good luck guys! |
