| Lose 10 lbs by JULY 4th, 2008! | ||

| EDITED:::: I am changing the post title to reflect our new goal date and thanking all who participated and asked me to keep this awesome post going!!!!! ( : xoxoxoxox love you, girls! -------------------------- I was given the ultimate gift for Xmas --- a vacation to LA and Vegas. I want to lose 10 lbs before we fly out on May 24th. Weekly weigh ins? Motivating friends??? Anyone? : D I know I am sure going to try hard as my goal is to buy and WEAR a bathing suit in public without a t-shirt or shorts. Join Me?? ( ; |

Original Post by olivia77: ok ok:-) the doctor appointment planned for may 21 was postponed so i will get there maybe even a bit slimmer:-) 95 kilos on may 24 sounds doable! as ym weight went steeply down in the last few days, it might be slightly harder (it sometimes happens to me-an unexpectedly low num,ber ant then going a bit up or stallin for a few days), but i plan for sticking to ym goals, also tomorrow i will be doing some gardening, so hope it will work! hope you have a nice weekend! |

welcome claire! I fly out this Saturday --- where did the time go??? GOALS -- drink a ton of water all week. Cardio ALL days. Do JM's "SHred" at least twice. you all? |

Hi Girls! I am going to be eating lots of vegetables and grilled fish this week! I bought some frozen Stir-Fry vegetables and fresh chicken breasts. I cut the chicken breast up into small strips and sauteed the chicken breasts in fat free Parkay spray. Then weighed it in 4 ounce portions and froze it in individual little snack size bags. I'll use them for my Stir-Fry and when I have a craving for some protein! I've cut up celery and carrots and have lots of little snack size bags in the fridge too. And I'll keep a lettuce and tomato salad in the fridge too. So I think I'm all set! Good look to everyone this week! Rachel |

my weekend was fun and hot. but I didn't count cals or exercise at all. oh well. My mom is gonna watch my kids so I can go for a run. Hopefully I can do it. My uncle runs. I talked to him last night about running in the heat. He said my body will adjust. I like running, I don't want to stop. And I think today my bf will become my X bf. He's been having temper tantrums like a child. I have 3 kids not 4! I'm with you Olivia- Goals-- water water water and cardio everyday |

Hello everyone! I haven't been around in a few weeks, but I've been down in the dumps for not losing quite as fast as I've been hoping. I won't make 165 in the next 6 days, or I'd have to lose 4 lb! But today I'm in a great mood because I hit 169 today. I have one more pound before I can safely say I've lost 30 pounds since January. The last 20 that I am working on will be the toughest, because I haven't been at 148 (my goal) since 2002! In fact, I haven't been at 169 since 2004! So I've got some real working to do. My major accomplishment (169) is a very emotional time for me, as you must have realized. |

guys I fell off the wagon HAAAARD! and i've been gone for a week and change. But I realize I still want to get to my goal, so i'm back. I don't think i'll be kickin the pounds by the 24th, but i'm still on board for getting a little off the edges and sides. My motivation hit a low I think, but i'm back!:) |

Hey all. Sorry I have been MIA. Still looking for a car (for those that don't know -- I was in a car accident last week and my car got seriously crunched). I have lost 2 pounds which at this point doesn't mean much as it is the SAME freaking two pounds that I have been "losing" for the last two weeks. Bleh. My goal is to lose another 2 pounds by Friday, exercise everyday, and eat well given that the dreaded monthly is upon me on Sunday. So this week will be cravings hell. |

OMG!! I hit 156.6 today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in such a great mood! A new low. I usually bump up for a bit after but hey it is so encouraging that I feel renewed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Thanks Olivia!! I think you should feel great! I know I need to get on track with my cardio. You are so active and so many of you are so committed and doing more and more cardio I always think.........oh man ..I need to go do my cardio..... Thank you all for posting. This thread is great and helps me to keep focused on the goal!! One day soon I will be posting about my cardio too! |

I had a good day but didn't meet my goals. My parents started filling their pool today so we all(mom, dad, brother+kids, brothers gf+kids, sis+hubby and kids, me+kids) sat outside in the sun. 10 out of 12 kids played in the half full pool(brrr) I got my first(only) sunburn this year. ouch! I put sunblock on the kids.Oh well. had fun anyway. I'll meet my goals tomorrow! |

yay for pools, immom -- I wish I had a family member with one! ( : I love this place --- keeps me honest. I woke up at the way too early hour of 4. Instead of being miserable, I went for a jog! It was so much easier at 5AM/65 degress than yesterday after work at 4:30 and I think 90 something.... My doggie was confused and sleepy, but that brat can sleep all day. ( ; |

| 168.8 today. I'm going to keep trying to lose as much as I can by May 24, although there's only 4 days remaining. If I don't lose ten, at least I lost this much. And that means I'll be VERY happy to have been part of this group. I may not have lost 10, but I lost some, and that's what really counts! | ||

" I really haven't been honest with myself- I haven't been doing well with counting, I really don't feel like I have eaten poorly- maybe not like I should- (workouts are ok, but just ok) I also haven't gotten on a scale b/c I am afraid to BUT reading everybody's post cleared my head a little- everyone seems to be doing so well.... as of this moment I WILL turn my slump around, find my tail and get back on track......... |

Do you pre-plan your meals for the day or just wing it? Is it the time it takes that makes you not log or......? (wanna help) |
