OK teammates, Chris and KT are off on their adventures and Don and Amaxpo too.  So, I'm calling on my other teammates who don't post frequently to stop by and keep me company.  :)

I'll start (since I talk so much anyway).  Yum, I had rotisserie chicken w/steamed veggies for lunch today.  I'm debating on eating the cornbread that came with it.  Do any of you find you lose after a little splurge?  I know that happens to me at times. 

How are you all finding the challenges?  Is this competition what you expected?  Do any of you have ideas for the week when it is our turn to pick a challenge?  Have you found any particular challenge easier than others so far?  How are you all doing in your weight loss journey in general?  Did you find it hard to get started?

You see, I do talk a lot.  Whew!  I better stop before I overwhelm.  I hope someone stops by soon.

Finally getting to a computer and I wanted to post my weight.

: ( I'm up 2 lbs boo 251. sorry. I thought it would be better with all of the hiking and some rock climbing but I guess it wasn't that bad.

Hey Don!  Welcome back!  Thanks for your number.  That's alright.  I think it's an off week for the team.  I bet most of your gain is muscle fatigue or water.  Well, here's to hoping for the best in this week's challenge!!! 

Hopefully the minutes will make up for it.  A couple of our teammates really kicked some butt!!!  (Shoutout to Chris and Brandy)

Saturday evening .... anyone home ???   LOL

Just wanted to let you know I DID get some exercising in today .... ok, now don't fall off your chairs !!!
Not sure if it will count for the challenge cuz I'm posting so late, but it will at least count for ME  :-)
20 min bike ride this morning (my daughter didn't want me to go any further on my first time out in over a year ... LOL)
then this evening I decided to push mow my side yard - that took an hour and 20 min (I have over 2 acres I mow, plus my neighbor's too cuz he cannot do it himself). 

Decided to push the mower cuz I kinda went over my calories (even though I really didn't COUNT them) at a graduation party today.  Not sure why I blew it, but I was hungry (which wasn't a good thing going there) and the 7-layer salad was SOOOO yummy !!!

So Chris when you get back, start me over again :-(

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.  It's been beautiful here today, but it's supposed to get humid and yucky in the next few days (no push mowing or bike rides).


In case you don't feel like connecting to the winners thread here's a quick summary.  We came in 3rd (out of 5 teams) for both the weight loss and the challenge minutes this week.  I personally don't think that's a bad thing.  We're still pretty high up there with our consistency overall so good for us!!! 

It doesn't look like Nycolea had completely decided on this week's challenge details but I'm sure she'll post as soon as she has.  I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!  I'm sure I'll be seeing more company tomorrow.  Make the most out of the rest of your day people!!!  :)

Um, Chris, restart me for our team challenge as of yesterday.  I couldn't stop munching!!!  I tried munching on fruits most of the time but was led astray with the bag of doritos sitting around and the tortilla chips DH was munching on...and it went downhill from there.  :(  At least when I weighed myself this AM I didn't do as much damage as last time. 
Week 6 Challenge : Calorie Challenge. Okay, this week's challenge is meant to emphasize "I said I'm going to do it, so I'm going to do it." Okay, you  guys have given your selfs a calorie allotment for each day, which you try to eat within. Well, you definately will want to stay within your calorie allotments for this challenge.

Okay, so here is how it will work. This week every single individual person will start off with 1500 points. At the end of the day they will calculate how many calories they consumed and will deduct the difference between how many calories they have eaten that day and the baseline (the calories you gave me) from that 1500 points. How ever many points you have left at the end of the week is the amount of points you have to contribute to your team's total.

Note: The points DO NOT start over every day. You are given 1500 points for the WHOLE week. This means you can go 250 calories over or under every day of your baseline without deducting points from your team total. And you CAN NOT earn your points back, once they are gone they are gone. THis challenge is about what you eat, so calories burned while exercising have nothing to do with it.  And there is no advantage to eating under your calories

hey guys! so i actually got on last night and typed this entire summary of my trip and i hit ctrl+c and instead of copying it it disappeared! i was so mad and not in the mood to retype it so here i am lol. basicaly i had an amazing time in tahoe (which unfortunately is on fire right now). we walked to the casinos and back friday night (about a 45 min walk at least), i had fajitas at hard rock, a cosmo, and 2 waboritas. then came home and drank more. i also won $100 bucks at the casino and that was awesome. saturday was relaxing, walked around teh shops some, took a nap, then headed back to the casinos (took the shuttle this time). b/f won $60 so we decided to go to the comedy show saw dat phan who won last comic standing. he was amazing and we got his autograph and a pic w/ him. we also ate at teh buffet and i did really well and didnt go overboard (only 1 plate of food and dessert). today we sat throguh a timeshare presentation adn got $75 for doin that. drove home and went to my grad party which was fun and casual and now i can pay my rent! lol so that was my weekend. i'm a little scared to weigh in tomorrow but it was totally worth it even if i gained a pound (which i relaly dont think i did). 

so i hope you all had a great weekend too. I am relaly excited about thsi week's challenge so i can get my butt back on track.

but for thsi challenge what if we eat back calories? i mean, if i burn 500 cals in a workout adn eat those back then i have to deduct 500 points? cuz i'm really supposed to get goign on my training so that's going to seriously up my needed calories. anyoen have an idea?
This challenge is confusing a little, I guess I will just work on eating 1400 calories....

How was everyones weekend?? 

Mine was great, im a little sunburnt, very tired, and my arms are sore from rowing!!!  Tummy kinda hurts from drinking to much!!!  I wouldnt change the weekend for the world, it was so nice and relaxing!!  Only had 7 hours of sleep the whole weekend, but owell.....

This new challenge is interesting......no eating calories back does not count, i know this puts KT at a huge disadvantage...sry doll just do the best u can...

if anyone is at all confused about this weeks challenge let me know!!!

On a good not, i usually have a gain on mondays it is how my body fluctuates, mon-wed im up 3.5 pounds or so....well today im only up 1.5 pounds YAY, which means (crosses fingers) i should have a better loss this week, however on a bad note i do believe this is TTOM coming up by the weekend, so we will have to waiit and see...

I think te best way t do this challenge is just tell me how many calories u went over this week......daily, if not give it to me sat morning and ill just figure it put!!  those of u who dont get on here on saturays and weigh in on fridays can give it to me then!!

KT-don't worry, it is a team effort and it sort of similar to what we have going on as our team challenge too.  Where you'll have to eat back your calories you never know if one of our teammates doesn't have to use much of their 1500 allotment at all.  It'll work out.

Geez Chris-you are a wild and crazzzyyy girl!!!  *scratching head trying to figure out where I heard that from*  I'm glad you had a blast.  Sounds like both you and KT had a great time away.  Ahh, can't wait for my turn!  NEWay-GREAT news on your Monday weight!  I know that is really encouraging.  I read on Star's (x17star17x) journal sometime back that she drank lots of water in anticipation of TOM and it didn't do as much damage as it usually does.  It might be worth a try.

No problem with the numbers.  Although, poor Nycolea's inbox was probably inundated with many messed up messeges I sent before I got it right.  Lol
OKKKKKKKK i am going crazy, starting to think i picked the wrong freaking week to quit smoking!!!!  TODAY is my big day, i am cranky cranky cranky!!  So quiting smoking mixed with PMS, hubby may have to move out LoL 

Well last month i had a loss, os i think off the top of my head of 2.5 pounds TTOM, ill have to go back and look for sure, but i didnt show any gain, just kept ding what i was doing so hopefully that works again for me, we will soon see!!

LoL, i am kinda a wild crazy girl, i like to have fun.......i like to party, but i will say i didnt show my boobies for beads on the river!!!!  Even when i was thin i would never eve do that, i got too much self respect, however my hubby always wants me too??  Sounds like he just wants to see if i actually will lmao

ok lawn is mowed took me 2 hours to push it today errrrrrrrrrr, i alsost got the rider out, but i stoped using it cause i want the extra excersise, i have a big yard......and a HUGE hill in the back yard.....kills me every time!!

i am still at my .5 pound loss today so hopefully that means I will show a good loss this week. i didn't drink much water this weekend so i'm going to flood myself and hope that works!

i updated my journal. i know you have all probably heard about the tahoe fire. i left tahoe around 1 and i guess the fire started around 2. i think they siad htis morning about 2000 acres have burned. if you have ever been to tahoe you know how absolutely gorgeous it is and i am soooo sad that it is on fire. i just hope hope hope they can get it out soon
