Don't list the calories, don't list the exercise, don't list portion sizes.

None of those pesky numbers, since we all are different.

One person can need 1400 a day, while another can need 2,500, and it can be really triggering to see someone ate a lower number than yourself.

Therefore, just list the food you ate. This will help us understand the value of eating healthy food (for the nutrients), while also indulging moderately in empty calories when we want. I don't know about you, but I'm aiming for 90% healthy foods - and 10% empty calories. ;)

Also, do not post here if you are starving yourself. I'm not interested in the details, it is only going to get others riled up, and it is triggering to those of us trying to recover from an eating disorder. Okay, thank-you.


Here's me for today:

Breakfast: slept far too late
Lunch: sandwich (100% whole wheat bread, garden burger veggie medley patty, soy dijon "mayo", pickle, lettuce), dried apricots, diet soda, tums, vitamin
Snack: apple, no salt added raw almond butter
Dinner: corn, bell peppers, sugar-snap peas, lettuce, firm tofu, soy dressing, tums
Snack: soy delicious peanut butter zig zag! yumm.

L: Shredded wheat with all bran, milk and honey.

D: Roasted Trout with wedges and salad. For desert, apple, rasberry and stawberry crumble with custad.

I only had breakfast so far:

Seafood mix + 3 small potatoes + 1 small tomato + 3 garlic cloves all mixed in a bowl

Unsweetened tea (mint and lemon)

One peach

lunch-mixed berry 100% juice box, raspberry yogurt tube, turkey breast, with cucumber, tomatos and a bit of miracle whip on whole wheat wrap.

dinner-(will be) greek salad?
Breakfast: mushroom & onion omelete, calcium-fortified orange juice

Lunch: raw veggie bowl dipped in light ranch, almonds

Dinner: mushroom & onion omelete, salmon patty, baked red potato, arugula & cherry tomato salad, plums
Breakfast: Organic blueberry waffles with SF syrup

Snack: Blueberries

Lunch: Spicy black bean burger on whole wheat bread with american cheese and black bean and corn salsa, homemade garlic chicken soup, salad with cherry tomatoes and thousand island

Snack: Kashi peanut butter granola bar

Dinner: Lasagna
Yesterday:

breakfast - raspberries and watermelon

lunch - crackers and left over pork tenderloin

dinner- broccoli, zucchini, turkey stir fry with rice + hot and sour soup.
steel cut oatmeal, yogurt, soy corn dog, soy bacon, eggs, tomato sliced with lite mayo, Smart Ones Quesedia.

water.

dinner will be veggie and roast.

Lunch - egg white omelet with diced red and green pepper, cilantro, tomato, red onion, amy's organic bean and corn salsa and cheddar cheese and water with lemon.

dinner - either turkey dog on whole wheat bun with onions and mustard and BBQ sauce and steamed baby yellow squash or a peanut butter sandwich with a peach or MAYBE I can get someone to take me out to dinner! That would make me very happy! ;)

I did kinda a bad job today... definitely didn't make it up to 1200.

L: skipped.. (I had a really really bad day at work.. it always affects my eating habits =\ sigh...)

D: Slice of pizza with broccoli, mushrooms and tomato

S: Apple, Plum, Carrot sticks
2 nectarines, some strawberries, fiber one with soy milk, plum, baked BBQ chips, yogurt, pretzels, black bean soup, eggroll. I need veggies... and meat. Looks like grilled chicken salad for dinner :-)
B: Vanilla Almond Special K and Silk soy milk (with fiber)

L: Mediterranean veggie sandwich (spicy peppers, feta cheese, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cilantro hummus on tomato basil bread), vegetarian black bean soup and iced green tea.

D: Shrimp Creole, a big salad with light balsamic vinaigrette and a small wheat roll.

I haven't succumbed yet, but after some comments on one of the other threads, I just may end the night with a venti skim sugar-free hazelnut frappuccino.  *drool*
Chamomile, you mentioned pizza and veggies and it made me think about the best veggie pizza I ever had. It was called a Jordan's Garden. Instead of tomato sauce it had a thin spread of butter, chopped garlic and parmesan, and it was topped with fresh basil, spinach, green onions, mushrooms olives, green peppers, red onions, artichoke hearts, tomatoes and zucchini, and then sprinkled with monterey jack cheese and chopped cashews. I have no idea how many calories was in it, but once I had the first bite I didn't care!

No worries - it was at a place in Fallon, Nevada (I was on a trip for work at the time). I don't think any of us will be crossing state lines just to get a pizza, even one that incredible.

update! I got my mom to take me to Eggspectations, and so I had a magno burger and french fries with water with lemon! MMMM!
Breakfast:
1 plum, 1 banana, 1 medium mandarin (My mum stopped by the veggie shop lol).

Snacks:
3 rice crackers, 2.5 shots of vodka *slaps hand* bad me...
A mouthful of cake.

Lunch (Although late):
1 whole egg+ 1 egg white omelette with onion and spinach and sauce.

Dinner:
Yet to be made let alone consumed.

...Wow i haven't eaten much today.
