Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...

I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.

Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....

Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

okay so i went ahead and changed the battery in my scale..  it now reads 147.5  BUT... i have also already had breakfast.. a nice omelette.. and drank a lo car monster.. and half a 24 oz bottle of water...  getting ready to workout now..  so i dont know which reading to take??   i guess i should leave the 146 in , and just see what happens tomorrow??  any ideas??
Let tomorrow morning decide. ^^

Brigitte--go for it!  I'll join you tomorrow--I have about 2lbs of TTOM water weight, so that's good enough for me (LOL!)  Reading all your posts from yesterday has inspired me to put the workout clothes on and jump on the bike!  I was planting seeds for my gardens today--I love playing in the dirt!  It is almost spring and I can't wait to get outside!! Ugh! I have cabin fever!!!

Okay, just got done walking 4 miles and hit about 1700 cals for the day. All good stuff! Still had a 506 cal deficit! I will take it! At this rate I figure I should lose a pound a week and reach my goal of 135 pounds by Late June early July! Sounds good to me! Hope the weekend was good to you all!!!
whoohoooo i am glad everyone is sooooooooooo inspired :) and great job today everyone..  i dont know how bad i did today, but it cant be tooo awful..  maybe some high sodium..  but i have only had breakfast (eggbeaters, and some ff mozarella with some mushrooms and onions thrown in to make an omelette), and a 6 inch subway club without cheese, which i know has plenty of sodium in the meat...  with lots of veggies on it..  and plenty of water :) (oh and of course my lo-carb monster, and my high protein slimfast)....  getting ready to look and see where i am calorie wise, will have a salad for dinner..  so we will see :) 

yay dee on planning to join me tomorrow :) whoooohooooo :) make sure you workout extra hard and drink lots of water :)

I have been on a diet for about 6 months now and i have lost 59 pounds. I am trying to average about 10 pounds per month. I am counting calories and doing robotics 4 days per week.Its working.

howdy elsier :) thats some awesome loss you got there :)   welcome to our group of great people here (although, sorry to say, i will hopefully be leaving for the 140s tomorrow :) and hopefully taking one if not more with me :)  )i love the motivation, and support i have gotten from this group since i joined them back in january :)

New to the group, 5'8" weigh 155 pounds, worked out for 40 minutes on the Gazelle today but then went to the KFC buffet with my boyfriend and may have cheated a bit.  According to my analysis I still burned more calories then I ate so I guess I'm OK.  I'll weigh in tomorrow I suppose and see.

okay, so i rode my bike with my son on the back for about half an hour tonight.. it was, umm.. interesting?? lol.. i entered it as:

Calories Burned for Activity: Bicycling [Tag It!]
<10 Mph, Leisure, To Work or for Pleasure

because i didnt know what to enter it as lol..  it was hard for me, cos its been forever since i rode a bike, and my bummm hurts from it lol..  but this was the lowest one i saw, so rather then overestimate i dont know if i underestimated...   i did break out into a sweat though :0) broke in that new helmet lol..  and it was fun just being out with hubby and kids :)  yay :)

I've decided that if i'm going to reach my goal of 146 by july 1st im gonna have to REALLY put some effort in and dosome real exercise again and stop these weekend binges. I dont know where i am right now but i know i'm no closer to losing that weight than i was when i started to flop... if only i had the money for a gym, HEY at least its spring i WILL take advantage of it this year!

I just wanted to say hello, I only just joined up today! But I'm very determind to get my weight off! I want to lose 20 pounds... weight currently at 154. I did a bit of a work out in the gym this morning, and got to head out for lectures so I'll be walking about!

Hey I am freaking out a little!!! 154 this morning. I had stayed at 153 all week and went up!! Why! My sodium has been high and I was a little low on water yesterday but come on!!! Why is so slow coming off right now? I am walking 3 to 4 miles per day and sticking between 1500 and 1700 cals. I think I need to cut the cals back just a bit. Maybe  1300 to 1500 max instead! And I am trying to cut the sodium, but it is EVERYWHERE!!!!!  These are the moments when I want to give up and turn to my good friend "Little Debbie". I mean why work so hard to get no results!! I am still down from my starting weight of 163 back in Novemeber, but I am serious about this now, so lets see some pounds dropping off!!!!!!
carie - dont give up... you CAN do it :)  the high sodium and low water in take can cause you to gain water weight...  and i know the sodium is everywhere,.. you just gotta take it into account when you make your food choices for the day.. plan your menu out a day in advance and stick to it.. that may help...  you will see results..  and you have to find that deficit that works  FOR YOU...   my deficit works for me..  everyones is different..  so mix it up a little bit.. see which one works best for you...  lots of luck :)
