| EDITED:::: I am changing the post title to reflect our new goal date and thanking all who participated and asked me to keep this awesome post going!!!!! ( : xoxoxoxox love you, girls! -------------------------- I was given the ultimate gift for Xmas --- a vacation to LA and Vegas. I want to lose 10 lbs before we fly out on May 24th. Weekly weigh ins? morning ladies! hope you all had a good weekend. I made myself sick yesterday by running in the sun. I ran for an hour then sat outside with my mom dad and brother for a couple more hours. I was smart enough to sun block the kids. I went home and layed down for 2 hours. felt nauseous and completely drained. today my nose and arm are pink. I feel good today.

It seems like a couple of us have hit that wall/plateau. Kpersons congrats to you on your loss. What do you think helped with that? I am going to weigh in again on wednesday to see where I am, i'm really confused about what to do to get over the wall. I'm still cycling calories, but not sure if that is helping. As a general rule I should eat more on the days I plan to work out, correct? Thanks guys! |

Correct, bkmanda. ( : Did I already ask you these questions? (if so, hate me and ignore) Do you keep an eye on your SODIUM? Fiber? fresh veggies and fruit vs. processed/premade foods? LOTS and LOTS of water? How much diet soda? All of these things can stop me from losing despite my almost daily exercise..... |

Hey girls!!!! Well I am ttoming!! :((( But it isn't too bad this time around. I cheated, because of ttom cravings, this weekend. But I got my 30-day shred Saturday and did it Saturday and Sunday and today. Which is weird, I never exercise on the weekends. And WOW I am so SORE. But I enjoy the soreness because that just means it is working. So I am hoping that this will give me that wxtra something to get off this plataeu. I love the dvd. It is just the right pace and gave me a ton of energy dispite the all around soreness. My rear is the worst!! lol. Highly recommend it to everyone!!! So glad to hear of those who have lost. And to all of us that are maintaining...well just keep going at it!!!!! have to run losts of things to do. Oh and tomorrow we might be going to town, and that usually means mcdonld's or big boy and either way I will get one of those yummy salads from mcdonld's or just the salad bar at big boy. Tomorrow is my low cal day so I have to be carefull. Though a crispy chicken sounds good!!!! I will be strong!!! Have a great day everyone!!! |

My hubby calls me a freak for checking in on the weekends, if he only knew how many times during the week I checked in and replied :)
Zochia I did that video once and yes it is fantastic thanks for reminding me about it. Afterwards I was so sore I cursed her for days. |

i have no husband/fiancee so no worries here, but i wonder what people mihht think of me if they knew how much time i spend here and on other forums. but since it is a) beneficial for my weight and therefore for my health b) fun, i do not feel gulity:))) |

Hi Girls,
Hope everyone had a good weekend. I sure have gotten the walking fever, and I have walked 10 miles a day for several days now. I don't do it all at once, in five 30 minute sessions. However I may be stuck at a plateau, 98.0 for 2 days now. Only 3 lbs to go, but I think the excess walking is toning me up, therefore turning fat into muscle......and muscle weighs more than fat I guess. I succumbed and had a bagel with blueberry cream cheese this morning. :( The blueberry cream cheese was an accident........somehow I put the wrong kind in my grocery cart. It looked like the regular, at first glance when I put it in the grocery cart. But oh was it ever good. I haven't had a bagel in ages. I rarely eat dairy or cheese products either, but I did enjoy the cream cheese on my bagel! Now I'll freeze the bagels so I don't have another. :) I just made up several little snack bags of baby carrots, and a big green salad too. I've got strawberries, grapes, and watermelon looking at me everytime I open the fridge too. :) I'm also drinking lots of bottled water. Since I'm a bloater, I really watch my sodium too. It's astonishing how much sodium is in prepared/processed foods. I've become so health conscious, that I look at labels on everything. :) I'm still loving my Lean Cuisines, especially the Asian Potstickers and the Vegetable Eggroll. 260 and 310 calories, 4 - 5 grams fat. And not bad on the sodium either. And the best part? No preservatives! They are very satisfying. And cost just $ 2.24 each. I have one or the other everyday for lunch. Hope you all have a great week! Nice to meet you Olivia, I too am a CC addict my name is Tanjier LOL So the weekend was good. My stepdaughter's recital was the bomb. That means it was a great show to those of you who don't do slang. We all hung out as a family her mother and I have a long history (see journal) but we put it all behind us and got along fabulously. I almost wish she could be my new BFF LOL I don't know if my husband would like that but we had so much in common ie weight issues, spouse issues, work you name it. So I am starting a new club (in my mind ofcourse) that prohibits bad thoughts , jealous or just plain mean against other women. Unless really really justified. I was ok with exercise this weekend I got a couple great walks in. I had my son so no speed or wogging but long distances. My meals were ok. Not great but it's mon so I will prepare all my meals for the week today. That really helps me not mess up. I am actually looking forward to weigh in this friday. |

guys i need help... went for a great run today.didn't push as hard as yesterday. I feel sick just like yesterday. I'm sure its cause its warmer than normal.77F yesterday just a little cooler today. I feel exhausted and like throwing up. help... how do i run when its warm? I live in canadas only desert. Its only gonna get hotter. I start well hydrated and drink water when i get home. do i need to carry a water bottle, shorter runs(thats not what i wanna do) Help |

Hey Immom - as someone who lives in North Carolina (and misses Canada considerably, although it's a wet part - St. Lawrence River in Ontario), I'd ask you to walk or take a lighter run. Walk/Jog. Cover a little bit more distance, or walk/jog for a little bit longer, and you'll burn just as many calories. Don't run if you JUST drank the water. Let it sit a little while. It could be the issue. You don't want to slosh a bottle of water while you're running. That IS WHAT makes you sick. |

I feel so much better for being a cc whore. ( : LOL I am seriously addicted. I feel like I have withdrawal when I am extra busy at work and can;t check in at least a few times... Primed most of the LR last night (good), but skipped cardio since the bf was already home working on the LR when I got home (bad). WILL CARDIO tonight -- even if it is raining. Still up a few because of Sunday's sodium splurge, but I am hopeful I will see another small drop on Friday -- here's to hoping! I joined another "Losr 15 before 4th of Jly with Saturday weighins in the plan that that will keep me from splurging with the booze on Fridays as is my custom since I cut of week day drinking. |

I wanted to "talk" too and motivate each other, share good, low cal meals you made up recently or brag aobut your new success with exercise etc. Please feel free to share and converse about anything. (Mostly I am bored, and I keep checking thinking someone has to ask a question or something soon, so I will have an excuse to talk back.) I'm crazy...I know.... |

I constantly read these- I just don't post b/c I don't have much to say :( but I will try... immom- you might have to start running earlier or later when it is cooler and make sure you drink plenty of water all the time- if you drink water right before a run, that won't hydrate you as it takes a little bit to get into your system.... I am happy to say that I have FINALLY lost some weight- only 2.4 lbs, but the scale hasn't really moved, so I am happy about that.... I also tucked my dress shirt into my pants that have cute buttons on the belt loops for the first time- it isn't a large amount of weight lost, but they were just snug enough that it didn't look right before.... not that it is perfect by any means, but you know- the small things. My bf is making a squash lasagne tonight (squash instead of pasta)- I will let you know how that is :) Hope everyone's week is starting off well.... |
