Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it.

I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me?? 

There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!!

All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date.

A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself

Let's be honest with each other & keep each other eating clean k? The PRIZE to the winner? Well that's easy - weight loss!!!!!!!!! (or maintenance for those at that stage!) Let's do this!

If you lose your mind & cheat, just let me know. Then you can re-start from the next day. I'll simply unbold your name, along with updating your new start date.

After being clean for a week after a re-start, I'll re-bold your name. So you always have a chance to feel like you are succeeding. 

Also, if you just don't feel like you want to partake in the challenge anymore, can you let me know so I can remove your name from the list? Thanks!!

Anyone not checking in for one week (December 25 - December 31) will be removed from the challenge.

Ok I am not doing good. I've been eating so bad the last few days. I have family in town for the rest of the month (sigh.. its going to be a long month) so I'm requesting to be off this list until next month when I can focus more on clean eating. I've been kinda stressed lately and just want to eat and eat. Ugh. :(((( 
How do you know if you are pushing yourself too fast?  I always put myself under a lot of pressure to eat better so when I eat even slightly bad I think I'm not doing good anymore.  But, I have been staying good throughout the day and at night I haven't been improving at all (well, somewhat, no fast food at all and watching somewhat what I eat).

I've also started taking walks over my lunch brk at work (30-minutes).  But I always feel like I should come here and say "RESTART" because I ate a hundred calories over my limit.

What does every1 think?
Hi anneh2003, I think you should relax your 100-calories-over rule because you're doing good.  I came to the thread just now to say how great it is to finally feel good about what I am eating (still clean BTW).  Before this Clean Eating challenge it was all guilt and watching that damn total at the end of the day.  Now I know that what I'm putting in my body is what I believe/know to be good for my organism.  What can be better than that?  Last week, before starting this challenge, I had my lowest ever average of 1850 calories a day but I didn't feel good.  This week it's more like 2250 a day but I feel strong and healthy.  Well, that's part of my personal definition of the "clean eating" that I'm doing.  No empty calories.  I was concerned at the start about how long this challenge is supposed to last but the way I feel now I can see it would be helpful to always continue this eating style.

Hey all! I'm  here, no worries! We had a show last night & the day b4 I was so busy with stuff, I haven't checked in for 2 days! Man, it's so hard to catch up with everything.

Hey, I'm restarting  my whole program/mindset today & thought I could celebrate by resetting us all to bold again!!! What do you all think? I think we've all earned a fresh start for being so awesome. I'll leave the dates alone, but bold us all, so now if you cheat, I'll just unbold your name & update your date.

Anyone opposed let me know & I wont' do it, otherwise, we're all starting over as of today!!!! (regardless of what you did today)

anneh2003- I agree with nancy - 100 cals over is not a cheat. I think you should think of it more as a cheat would be a binge or something in excess of 500-800 cals. But you make your own rules. Try not to be too strict. If you think one or two more treats a day are not bad, then that's not a cheat, bu tif you have 4 or 5, then that's a cheat.

Dee, I know I've certainly learned some things about my eating habits and what will work for me (in the healthiest way possible, of course).
I am not opposed to you putting our names in bold.  That actually might be some motivation to continue eating clean.  :)

I think the bold idea is good, too - kind of a pick-me-up for anyone getting discouraged.  Today was the first AM dog-walk that wasn't anaerobic for me (which means I'm getting fitter, it's a steep uphill climb you see).  I felt like Rocky Balboa or something, seriously.  I could breathe!  Let's hear it for clean eating!!
Pizza and choc chip cookies last night.  Nothing clean about it and ugh did I feel soo ill!  SO, it reminded me if I eat crap, I feel like crap.  Today is a new day with better food choices in mind.  Peace out, Tully
still clean and feeling good and teird these crazy hours are getting to me but i will get throught it. i always do it is hard to eat good in the summer but i have to do it if i want a healthyer me for my self or my girls. have a good day lisa

Still on course and have actually made my clean eating more clean by eating 90% plant based material.  I have seen a huge result in weight loss and just general feeling good!
Count me in!!! I need something new to jump start me again...been dieting for over a year and have lost 50 pounds. I weigh 174 now
nancy- rocky balboa hey? awesome! I envy all of you with hills aroudn where you live. I've got prairies, so not much challenge walking here. Glad you're feeling fitter from eating better!

Still on track -  I'm starting a fast (not for weight-loss purposes, don't worry, I'm not starving to lose weight, that's silly) that I hope to follow for at least 5 days, but no more than 12.  I'll let you know how it goes!

OK.  I'm jumping in.  Put my name on the board.  Today is my daddy's birthday so I'll easy remember what day I started.  I've been clean all week but I'll count today as Day 1.  I need to be held accountable and I think this is just the place to gitter dun.  Healthy eatin' yall.  :]
