Don't list the calories, don't list the exercise, don't list portion sizes.

None of those pesky numbers, since we all are different.

One person can need 1400 a day, while another can need 2,500, and it can be really triggering to see someone ate a lower number than yourself.

Therefore, just list the food you ate. This will help us understand the value of eating healthy food (for the nutrients), while also indulging moderately in empty calories when we want. I don't know about you, but I'm aiming for 90% healthy foods - and 10% empty calories. ;)

Also, do not post here if you are starving yourself. I'm not interested in the details, it is only going to get others riled up, and it is triggering to those of us trying to recover from an eating disorder. Okay, thank-you.


Here's me for today:

Breakfast: slept far too late
Lunch: sandwich (100% whole wheat bread, garden burger veggie medley patty, soy dijon "mayo", pickle, lettuce), dried apricots, diet soda, tums, vitamin
Snack: apple, no salt added raw almond butter
Dinner: corn, bell peppers, sugar-snap peas, lettuce, firm tofu, soy dressing, tums
Snack: soy delicious peanut butter zig zag! yumm.

Brekkie: Vanilla Yogurt with blueberries and Golean cereal; peach green tea

Snack: Nectarine

Lunch: Whole wheat garlic wrap with ham, swiss, spinach, tomato, and mustard; and celery, carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower; peach green tea

Snack: Whole wheat pita with hummus

Dinner: Balance bar, apple, grapes

I'm on the road all day today so I had to bring something not refridgerated for Dinner... I won't be home til after 10pm.  At that point, I plan on having some cottage cheese or yogurt with some fruit or veggies for dessert.... and because my dinner is kinda crappy.  LOL
Breakfast: A plain toasted english muffin with a slice of american cheese and two slices of shaved turkey; some grapes, a bottle of water

Snack: A low fat Quaker granola bar

Lunch: Lean Cuisine Margherita Pizza; a bottle of water

Dinner: A flour tortilla spread with peanut butter and a half of a banana;  an apple; a bottle of water.

Snack: Quaker low fat granola bar and two little snickers minis as a treat; a bottle of water
Breakfast: Sourdough toast with homemade baked beans smashed on top

Snack: Cherries

Lunch: Cucumber and fatfree cream cheese on light wholewheat bread

Snack: Light yogurt, apple

Dinner: Veggie burger on bun with mustard, ketchup, lettuce, and pickles, leftover beans from breakfast.

Water: about 2.5 litres
Genoa Salami w/1/2 a slice provolone on white wheat bread

Harry's Potato Soup

Barilla Plus Thin Spaghetti w/artichokes, black olives, compari tomatoes & feta cheese

100 cal. Hershey Pretzel bar

(In between running back & forth to vet with cats)

 
Breakfast-scrambled eggwhites, multigrain english muffin, chedder cheese

Lunch-teriyaki chicken breast on wheat with lettuce and tomatoe, baby carrots

Dinner-ltalian herb fish fillets, green beans, cottage cheese

Snacks-Shredded wheat and bran cereal with skim and brown sugar,  white tortilla with deli sliced white turkey lettuce and tomato.
Breakfast: Banana, Special K with skim milk, PB&J on whole wheat, apple

Snack: Weight Watchers Brownie

Lunch: Turkey Tikka Sandwich, Laughing Cow Light Cheese wedge, lettuce, Sour Cream and Onion rice cake snacks

Snack: Clementines, Apple

Dinner: Homemade Chicken Curry and White Basmati rice

 Disgusting. What started as an awesome topic was destroyed by the ' off the rag ' comment. I'm not sure if I'm the only woman here that takes offense. I find that ' term ' disgusting. If you aren't going to contribute to the tread, don't post anything. Or... Take you little spat to mail.

 Breakfast: Banana/apple sauce

 Lunch: Wheat thins, cheese, lemon water

Dinner: Cheddar poppers, chicken & tartar sauce, diet soda

I'm really glad i stumbled across this b/c i feel like i eat too much and sometimes i have trouble trying to figure out what to eat. Well here it goes:

Breakfast: small banana, orange juice -- didn't want to eat anything heavy b/c i had a tennis match

Lunch: A homemade hamburger with grated cheese, unions, and green pepper.

Dinner: No idea!!
Breakfast: banana, orange juice, coffee

Lunch: Black bean and lime soup

Dinner: salmon with stir fry veggies and onion cooked in olive oil

Hi there guys. I haven't posted here in forever . . . If you remember, I'm recovering from an ED, but now I'm a little further alongin my recovery, so I thought I would try posting here daily to try to keep myself on track. Here goes . ..

Breakfast- Cinnamon oatmeal with almonds. Coffee.

Lunch- Boca spicy chickn patty with cheese on a whole wheat bun. Watermelon.

Dinner (will be)- Homemade spinach enchiladas (yum-o!).

Dessert (will be)- Watermelon.
cereal with soy milk a ground turkey and black bean taco with fresh salsa some walnuts some dark chocolate (a little too much) a ginger ale haven't eaten dinner yet.
Breakfast: Nothing because I wasn't aloud to eat. I had to get a cat scan (grr)

Lunch: Tuna wrap with some carrotts

Snack: Oatmeal, blueberries, strawberries, banana, and some allbran

Dinner: Tomato soup!

Dessert: Soy milk
