| Lose 10 lbs by JULY 4th, 2008! | ||

| EDITED:::: I am changing the post title to reflect our new goal date and thanking all who participated and asked me to keep this awesome post going!!!!! ( : xoxoxoxox love you, girls! -------------------------- I was given the ultimate gift for Xmas --- a vacation to LA and Vegas. I want to lose 10 lbs before we fly out on May 24th. Weekly weigh ins? Motivating friends??? Anyone? : D I know I am sure going to try hard as my goal is to buy and WEAR a bathing suit in public without a t-shirt or shorts. Join Me?? ( ; |

165 again. I'm down 5 from the start of the challenge. But thats it. I guess the same is better but I'm discouraged. How do you break a plateau? |

I am down at 132.9, I lost 0.9 pounds (If I put it that way I can make pound a plural word) I know I am close to ____ I will not even say it, I will only accept numbers that subtract not add to my weight!!! I hope everybody else sees great numbers even if it is the same as last week, do not be discouraged, at least you are not going up! Have a great weekend! Kim |

Hi Girls, Boy did I dread the weigh in this morning. I guessed I would be up 2 lbs after what I ate last night. * SIGH * And I was right. Yesterday I was 98.2, and sooooooo excited! Just 3 lbs from my goal! I ate well all day yesterday til evening. Then for dinner I made Old El Paso Gordita Dinner Kit. ( With Chicken Breast ) I simply could not stop at one, and ate four! :( Although I never put any cheese or ranch sauce on the Gordita's...........( lettuce, green onions, tomatoes only) the sodium was a killer. I am up EXACTLY two pounds this morning. 100.2! * Tears * I am so angry with myself. And I was suppose to have lunch with a friend today, but thankfully she had to call late last night and cancel. Or I would have. I knew the consequences of over eating, and now I will have to pay for it. Now I really have to work by butt off today. I'll need to walk all day long to burn off those Gordita's. I am a bloater when it comes to sodium and knew better than to eat four! I should have stopped at just one. Even one had 830 mg's sodium. Darn! And I ate at 6:30 last night, and was sick all evening. Running to the bathroom all night. I couldn't look at any food commercials on TV with out getting an upset stomach. I was simply stuffed. And here it is almost 9 am and I am still so full. UGH! It looks like a calm day today, no wind so I am going to walk lots and eat fruits and veggies all day. Yesterday the weather was awful and I only walked off about 500 of the 2000 calories I ended up eating for the day! Let's just hope I have better news to report next Friday when we weigh in again. Hi everyone!! I am at 169.8 this week. I think that puts me down 2.6 lbs from 2 weeks ago (I didn't weigh in last week b/c I forgot). YAY - I am happy with this!! And that gives me about three weeks to lose 8 more lbs and I think that is totally doable. I know it is probably not gonna stick but I am just totally thrilled to be seeing a 160's number on the scale for the first time in several months!! When I get to 160 lbs. I am usually marginally happy w/ my body so I'm kinda close to getting there. It feels really good to be back ON the wagon and seeing some results, however small they may be. It gives me a lot of motiviation to keep going. I have a baby shower to attend tomorrow so I must make an effort not to totally pig out on cake and stuff. ARGH that will be tough. Have a good weekend everyone!! |

i cant believe i missed weigh in last week!! i have been so so so busy!! anyway, nothing new with me, i havent really lost weight... so here are m sstats:
SW: 195 CW: 186
sigh..... guess theres a way to lose some more... i have been alking during lunch break since thats the only time i can squeeze i some exercise... i guess i should find a way to exercise during the weekend too :((
but good news though... the dress i had made for a wedding next week had to be redone since it was too loose! so yay for me :) |

Last week 148.8, this week 148.0 Not a big change, but I have been very consistantly 148 - no dips up into the 150s! I am super happy and can't wait to see 147. I hope everyone else is still pushing on! |

| I'll weigh in tomorrow. I stepped on the scale this evening and it was close to 173, and normally I "drop" two pounds overnight. I hope to see 170 - 171! | ||

Hi Girls!
I walked ten miles yesterday to make up for those Gordita's I had eaten on Thursday evening-which caused me to be up exactly two pounds Friday morning! I honestly thought it would take me two days to burn those Gordita's, but what a shock when I got on the scale this morning! :) I lost those two lbs in 24 hours! I'm back down to 98.2 lbs and just 3 lbs 2 ounces to lose now. I was 120.6 lbs January 1st 2008, and have been working so hard to get back down to 95 lbs. I am so happy to finally almost be there. What a long road! So many ups and downs and twists and turns...........I fell off the wagon so many times, but just kept climbing back on. It's been so worth it! I've already gotten in two 30 minute walks today. What a beautiful sunny day. :) Hope all of you are having a great weekend. Hang in there girls, you can succeed! Believe me, if I can, anyone can! :) Rachel |

Six pounds to go. Will I make it with two pounds per week? It's possible. I'd be happy to see it. I'm happy with the results I've been getting more recently, after my plateau. I was 175 when I came here on April 20th, and I'm exactly 171 right now. A little over a week showed me a 4 pound change, compared to my several-weeks-long plateau. YAY. I'll say it's no starvation diet or anything. I eat 1300 - 1700 calories per day, depending on whether I'm burning a lot of calories that day (from work, or from the gym). |

Well I don't really know how it has been going. I had a girl over last night that I used to babysit. She missed me a lot. And we had ice cream. Then today my dad was sweet anough to take my fam to lunch, we only go out to eat like two times a year!! SO I couldn't just tell him no, would hurt his feelings. SO other than that have been good. And I am so pumped!!! TOday I tried the 30-day shred dvd. And I got done like an hour ago and my arms are already sore!!! Hopefully the rest of me is too in the morning. Getting something new like that gets me so excited. After I got done I wanted to do it all over again just because I enjoyed it so much. THough I was dying!!!! So we will see what tomorrow holds!!! Great job everyone!!!!!! |

ahh, almost forgot about the weigh-in last weight recorded is may 1 (99.5 kilos ie 219 pounds=weight going down). i was awya for a few days, came back to town now, and will weigh in monday morning:) |

YAY, ka! It gets so quiet here weeekends. Am I the only GEEK who checks in all weekend long??? =P My numbers from amaresmom's compilation: Olivia 184 178.5 176.5 172 170 Is this week 6 then? I was 166.5 on Friday. WOO HOO!!!! Jogged 5 miles on Saturday before my dr. appt and skipped it yesterday to walk around Home Depot for no less than 2 hours, bowling, and then ripping paneling down, patching drywall and priming so we can paint our LR tonight. ( : We bought our first house this last summer, and this (bsdies replacing the hideous dining room light fixture and ripping down the baseball border in the spare bath) was our first real DIY project. Going gangbusters so far! Hope your Mondays are good, girls! |

haven't weighed myself yet still scared...i'm between 5.6 and 5.7 not entirely sure...and i'm a medium build with very atheletic legs which causes me to weigh a lot more...at least that's the excuse i use |
