Shruti, thanks for updating and sorry about your grandmom.  What a thoughtful Dad you have and hope things will be looking up for your family.

Good luck Rachael on your 2nd interview - usually good sign to be called back in.  Bee - hows the snow treating you?  Jealous of you here but it is colder again.  Sarah can confirm TX cant make up its mind on weather and Sarah, hoping this week your plateau burns out for you :D.

Speaking of low carb Wednesday, went in for grilled chicken at breakfast.  I had gotten into the habit of triscuits after waking up.  Granted they are mostly whole wheat but remembering how first day on Phase2 my breakfast wrap had me super hungry by morn snack.  Well, my hunger is back on track.  Maybe a combo of carb breakfast and PMS, but going back to what worked - no carbs before lunch.

Boiled 3 meals worth of shrimp yesterday.  A great protein for me to keep in the fridge.  Almost made it to the store but working on getting more creative with what I do have in the house.
Just a quick hi - work has been crazy today!!!

Shruti - so sorry to  hear about your grandmother!!

Rachael - Good luck with the job interview!!

Sarah - hoping you get off your plateau soon!!!

Jayne - hope your doing well!!

Talk to you all later!!
Hello all.. hows everyone doing so far today?  Im feeling more back to myself.  In a funk or some thing last week and not so chatty.  Im feeling pretty positive today and hope it continues for a while.  Hoping to break the cycle this week.
You sound like a hectic day Gina - good to hear from you :D.  Good to hear you back in the groove Sarah.

Im meeting with 3 friends Saturday to exchange Xmas presents LOL!  Give you an idea how long its been since seeing them.  My main gift is tickets to an interactive play that we will attend that very afternoon.  I got a ticket for Alice also to show my appreciation for holding my hand thru the diet and exercise.  Its called Tony n' Tinas Wedding, about a tacky Italian Jersey wedding - I can say that as an Italian who grew up in Jersey :D.

Alice knows in advance and we both are dressing up in to be our tackiest Jersey girls (she grew up there too).  They not only dont know shes coming but have never met her so what a first impression.  What they'll think until they find out until we give them the tickets LOL.  It will be fun 'returning to the neighborhood'.  Going to pick up some appropriate jewelry and makeup to do it up good.
Morning... its early and i just cant sleep.  fighting off the hunger with coffee... strange to wake up starving.  Gina hope today is not so busy for you.  Jayne sounds like your going to have some fun this weekend. Rachel how did that 2nd interveiw go... hope your body is feeling better to.

Hi all.  It's been a stressful week but here we are again at weigh day.  I haven't been on much this week but have been trying to keep up with the posts.  I weighed 130 this morning.  Was hoping for at least 129 but have been way to busy to get my exercise in this past week so maybe next week.

Shruti, sorry to hear about your grandmother.  My mother passed away on my daughter's 9 birthday and it was very hard.  Every year it is a reminder of what happened but it does get a little better with time.  Hang in there.

Sarah, it must be the moon cycle or something.  I have been waking up extremely hungry the past few days and my appetite has been hard to control.  I've also been in a funk but I am blaming it on work stress.  Hopefully it will warm up here and I can get myself out of it.  It was 20 this morning.

Rachael, hope your interview went well.  I have mouth stress...when I have to talk about myself or talk in front of people I don't know, my mouth goes crazy and says all this stupid stuff.  I also giggle when I'm nervous.  Not a good combination.

Sun, sounds like you are having lots of fun.

Have a good day everyone.

My weight hasnt budged still at 159.6.  Im going crazy but still going to stick with it.... maybe next week will be my week for a loss.  On the bright side Im not up any.
We re off to see the clinic, the wonderful clinic of scale.
Will I be singing on my way home - hmmm
Hey!!! How are you great ladies! I am really well!!!!
Jayne, please update me on your weightloss progress! You sound amazing!!!!

Caries in the house!  For anyone new, she started the very orignal thread last summer that we restarted end of last year.  How the heck are you?!  I weighed in this morning and dropped 2.4 to 348.0.  Thats less then 350 so now Im claiming 300+.

Stopped for gas no problem.  Stopped at Walmart and you see how long it took me to get back.  Way to work that vacation Bee and thinking you are right about March LOL.  Sarah - your right still in the 150s and your bodys going to have to cry uncle here soon - keep doing those right things.  Rachael, sounds like an off weighin for you - Im thinking next week will reflect something better.  Funny you mention hair - was thinking to get a perm (need one and could tease it for my Jersey girl) but realize Im a day late with the dont wash for 48 hrs.

Any other weigh-ins and cool of you to stop by Carie!
Its interesting to see people from forum to forum.  Carrie started that with the simple question "Anyone doing or have already done this program? I am on day 4 of phase 1 and very pleased with the results!" in August and it took off from there.  That weighin following St Pat (20th) is the day before Spring so its another option.  Can you believe Easter on the 30th!  Thats a rarity.  Considering my weight,I'd like to lose 6-8 those 3 weeks with some luck and no plateaus in the way.

Good Morning Gals.  I decided to take advice and shake things up.  found a pilates kit that comes with exercise ball, hand weights, resistance straps and a DVD.  Goofing around last night I decided to do some sit ups using the ball.  It hurt but was kind of fun too.  this morning my tummy feels different so going to keep this up in the hope to lose some inches.

A challange huh  every time my body hears that word it gets stuck.  Ive had bad luck when it comes to those.  Ill have to think about it.

I have actually ended up on a binge on both recent challenges.  I dont know that its not a coincidence - I dont really eat any stricter (subconcious pressure?).  Anyway, Im determined to break that curse and I will think of it, ideally with success, if it hits me.  To claridy to the new, these are self challenges - nothing between each other so its a team effort to do well.

Down is down Rachael and yay for reducing the hip area or as I call it, stubbornville (well not really but I should).   I just hope to be as persistant when my weight gets as low as yours.

Sarah, way to take on a plateau!  I wonder if being lower is making it more challenging but you sure sound up to the challenge.  That first day after exercize - good that there isnt soreness.

Bee - I like the Easter challenge especially with all the candy naturally associated.

I think I will do an Easter challenge, especially since I'm in love with jellybeans (quick flashback to the pound cake Easter bunny my mom made when I was a kid!).

Good idea on the pilates. I think I am going to shake up my routine and start using my Transfirmer and other videos, along with using my stationary bike.

I am planning on jumping back into Phase 1 Monday (as long as I can make it to the store; it's beginning to snow again here). I get so sad thinking about missing my Fiber One cereal every morning. But I better suck it up; it's not for long!
