I'm crying as I'm typing, so please overlook all typos...I'm really not all here.

Our son, who turned 18 last month, has been missing now for 76 hours. He went to work Monday, left work and no one has heard from him nor seen him since. He wasn't having any problems with us, Sunday we all were together and had a great time. He wasn't having any problems with his girlfriend. He did have a bad day at work and we are guessing he went off on a drive too cool down, but we really don't know. He didn't say anything to anybody about where he was going. He was in a hurry to get to work that day and left his wallet home. So he has no money on him nor any access to money. We were able to get into his bank account today and there hasn't been any unusual activity in the last month. We have called everyone he knows and no one knows anything. His girlfriend has called everyone she can think of too.

This is so out of character for him. He has never done anything like this before.

The police are involved and doing all they can. Two different aerial searches were done today and tomorrow there is a ground search going on with volunteers and the police department. He has been listed as a missing person in all 50 states along with a description of his blazer. The police department made up fliers for us to put around town. The top of it says "Missing Person, Suspicious Circumstances".

This is so unreal. This is something that happens on TV, not in real life. The roller coaster of emotions is beyond imagination. The possibilities of what has happened to him and where he might be are endless. To the East of us is a canyon, to the West is desert hills. He could be anywhere. Not knowing anything is the worst.

My husband and our other children are hitting their limits too. Our home is crazy is an understatement. We have had lots of friends and family offer love and support. Meals have been brought in for three days. Our phones are ringing off the hook with well wishers and everyone wondering what they can do.

I'm sorry for going on and on, I just want to cover all the bases, but I'm sure I've missed some things.

Prayers are definitely welcome.

Mostly I'm still in shock. I'm not sure I'll be back on the site for a while. I will post as soon as we know anything.

I'm thinking positive thoughts for you and for Chris everyday.

I just found this thread and read every post in the past hour or so.

I am not into fashion (jeans and tshirt for me) but the myspace that was said to be created by his other mom......someone said the pic was taken over the summer, but it appears he has a scarf on? Is this just the "trend" among teenagers in that area(I'm from midwest so could be different there) or is that odd to see someone wearing a scarf in the summer? I am only assuming and may be wrong, but if his other mom created the site, I'd assume that she took the pic when he was visiting her.......she lives in CA......never been there in the summer, but was thinking it was hot there.

Edit:After looking at Chris' pics on myspace, I realize I am just a country girl and know nothing about fashion. Apparently the scarf wasn't out of place.

Shannon said something just a few pages back that he might have had more than 1 myspace and that was being looked into......how did that turn out, anyone know?

If you have his email address you can search for people on myspace by their email address......maybe that could help?

I will pray for answers for this family and hope he is found safe and sound.

Edited: After posting the above, I decided to seach myspace. I searched under Christoper Coan and only came up with one that would match him, which is the one that is said to be created by his other mom. I then searched for Chris Coan and came up with 4.

The first one........is the one that is already mentioned on here that everyone talks about.

What does anyone know about a biofeedback machine? I honestly have never heard of one before, but yesterday one was used to give us answers as to where Chris is and how he is doing. I'm not sure how I feel about it all yet. I tried to understand if it was like playing with a super powered Eight ball or a ouija board, or if there was some kind of logic it used, I'm not sure how it works, and therefore don't know how I feel about it. I personally would rather stay far far away from a ouija board.

A gentleman that lives about 40 minutes south of us owns the machine and has always used it to help people, he has never charged anyone to use it. He has used it for medical reasons and for the paranormal, like in our case.

Dave went down yesterday to talk to the guy. He was able to ask yes and no questions and after a while the machine would give him an answer. Dave was not hooked up to the machine in any way, so it wasn't reading his heart rate or anything like that. Dave asked if Chris was in NM and it said yes. A couple of times Dave misspelled the name of something in his question and it would come back "no", when he realized his mistake and asked the questions with the right spelling it said "yes". The bottom line is that it supports the abduction theory. It said that his hair has been cut and colored dark. Like I said I don't know how I feel about any of it. I'm very left brained and I would really love a true, solid lead that we could sink our teeth into.

I find it interesting that the other two my space pages are from New Mexico. That could very well be why psychics are saying that's where he is. I haven't looked at the accounts yet (my space is blocked in our home, and I haven't taken the blocks off to go look yet). Were the accounts created before Chris went missing?

I talked to the police today. They were able to get into his my space accounts. They said that private messages are erased within two weeks, so anything Chris may have had is no longer there. The police said that my space came up with 70 different pages that have "Christopher Robin" or "Chris Coan" as part of their name or who they belong to. They are trying to sort them to see if any of them could be a new page Chris created. They said that we were welcome to search as well. I do not know my way around my space, so I'm hoping that Sasha and others will be able to do that.

Oh, a while back someone asked about a facebook (?) page. Sorry, I know I forget so much when I try to reply. I have no problem with it. Anything that gets the word out that Chris is missing and that we are trying to find him is wonderful to me. Thank you for your help.

I think that is all I have to update you with today. I again want to thank you all for your support and your prayers. It really does help me to come here and read you encouraging words and write out some of my feelings. Thanks for giving me this place!

I decided to search myspace using the name "Christopher Robin" Of course there is quite a few that make you think, "hmmmm maybe it could be" but after looking at them a bit you realize it probably isn't. However, this one kept sticking with me.

Obviously they are the same person on both pages. I don't think either are him, just thought they might explain the psyhics saying NM.

When I looked at his myspace(the one that is without a doubt that is his that the police gained access to) I noticed that it states:

I also seen two post from one of his friends that talked about the "rainbow" and he talked about "burning man" and wanting to go to a rainbow gathering sometime.

Seeing as he updated his profile the day he went missing, which any little change could cause it to update, I would think maybe asking his g/f if he always had that location listed. Maybe that is what he changed it to, knowing he was going to go with the rainbows on a retreat or something.

The more I read on his myspace comments that he made and other ppl made to him, it almost sounds if he planned to leave. But, I don't know him. But he did tell someone that he was moving to Oregon with his brother as soon as he turned 18, and one friend makes the comment, " and tell her i said hello! :) SO UR MOVING WITH HER!"  That particular friend has their profile set to private, so can't see what comment he made to her or who he said he was moving with, this was made on August 10th.

Just suggestions. Sorry if it's a lame one.

Yes, previously on this thread, someone said that his mom in CA created that one. I just discovered, that if someone's profile ISN"T private and you click on "view blogs" even if they don't have any blogs, if you scroll down, on the left it will give the date that the myspace account was created.

Edit: also there appears to be only one Christopher Coan in the whole state of Michigan, and he is 44 and lives in Northville, not Hell.

i looked at the pictures on findchris and it looks like his nose is a bit wider than that myspace pic.  could be the angle or whatever.  i think i saw a slight bump on the left side of the nose that both pictures might have had.  could just be me wishing that they were identical.  i also in noticed the pics of chris he seems to have nice eyebrows (good arch, not too close to eyes, not too thick not too thin).  the myspace guy pic has funky eyebrows but the person could be making a face that would affect eyebrow placement and shape.  sheesh. 

Now you see why I kept coming back to that one. Someone who knows him well, might be able to rule it out/in better than us who have only seen pics.

I'm pretty sure the one in Michigan isn't him. The picture is close, but my first reaction was - it isn't Chris. This is so frustrating. I'll ask Sasha if she remembers what Chris' location was prior to him leaving, if it has always been that or if that was new as of the day he went missing.

You all are so amazing! I cannot even begin to say thank you enough for all you are doing. Thank you for all of your time and effort in helping us find our son.
