After that binge all I could think about was how yummy Crunch and Munch is... I wanted it all the time (granted I haven't had it since I was a kid)... Wow thinking about it makes me want it right now and I haven't thought about it in over a month... I am pathetic huh? haha!

I'm joining! 10 pounds gone would make me feel so good, it's going to be a present to myself! I've been bouncing around the 190's for a couple of years now, so this will take me out of the 190s into the 180s.

I have a bad knee which makes most exercise difficult, but I've decided to join a city sponsored water aerobics class and go 4 times a week. I tried on my swimsuit last night, and although it's not glamorous (LOL), it will do until I need a new one. I'm going to buy some terry cloth and make myself a coverup so when the session is over, I can duck and cover!
I don't want this to be a "set it and forget it" goal, so to help me keep my goal in mind, I wrote it on my bedroom mirror this morning. I can't tell you how many weight goals I've set and then "forgotten" that I had set a goal.

So I checked my sodium intake for the past 6 weeks and I've been averaging around 3300mg perday! I am going to try to get this down by atleast 500mg and drink more water. The high sodium is largely because I eat TV dinners for lunch- but the TV dinners keep me from caving to peer pressure and going to Chipotle or fast food for lunch with the coworkers.
What do you all do for lunch at work?
oliva- i love being on here and chit-chatting all day too :) I'm always wishing for more time in a day.. maybe one day someone will listen :)
I snack on cottage cheese cups, lf string cheese, baby carrots with lauging cow cheese wedges, apples, bananas, oranges, grapes... hmm.. crunch n munch sub?? that's tough... that stuff is really good...
work lunch (this has been happening everyday, religiously, for a while b/c I love it) is boring.. lol... :D turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread with a condiment (red pepper spread from trader joe's, or mustard, occasionly miracle whip, but it's gotta have something) with a side of steamfresh veggies... sometimes a lf string cheese also... LOVE LOVE LOVE my lunch :)
krrpt08- all those snacks sound yummy! I don't remember who brought it up, but I too love the biggest loser! Seeing the transformation of the contestants...It is such a motivator...

As far as snacks, my favorites are smart balance light butter popcorn the ones that are mini bags...I love grapes too and apple w/peanut butter, laughing cow cheese or string cheese...Also sunflower seeds, peanuts, almonds(all unsalted)...

it's a popcorn, peanut caramel mix that clumps together sometimes into a big caramel mess ball of just the right amount of popcorn, peanuts, and sugar :) dangerously good :) there are a few varieties out there too... jerks... lol

How about ummm carrots? Anyway can't get enough carrots?
How much sodium are you supposed to get? I know I eat way too much. All of my favorite foods are salty... I barely have a sweet tooth at all, unless it's something fruity- cherry pie or jello. So.... I need suggestions on how to cut that.
Although Im assuming if I stick with the calorie count I should be ok.
I would pop a bag of 100 cal popcorn, eat it with a handful of peanuts and caramel pudding cup for 60 cals.......YUM
I don't worry about sodium, just stick with my calorie limits (sometimes :) Unless you are really worried about retaining water or have high blood pressure - I don't think it matters too much.
Maybe i am just rationalizing because I love and crave salty food!
I never watched biggest loser till this season, but it is unbelievable how different the people look! I just hope they can all keep it off. it's getting to the point where some of them are normal size and look really good, how far can they go? I am happy that the ladies made a comeback!

my current weight is 152lbs!!
I'm kind of surprised, but happy that its not 160 like I thought..which means I need to keep moving!

I think Im going with you on the not worrying about the salty thing. I like salty foods too much to not eat them. The same with pasta- oh the joys of having an Italian grandmother who lives with you. But Im not going to worry about that till I go home for the summer.
So I wouldn't worry about it, just make sure your drinking plenty of water. My sodium was at 4900 yesterday <--- that's super high for me... Man gotta love tomato soup...
