***50-70 lbs. to Lose Club!***

Hey everyone! I decided to make a group for those who need to lose anywhere from 50 to 70 lbs. I think if we do weigh-ins once a week (whatever day works for each person), we can all keep each other motivated. It is possible for most people who join this group to lose mostly all of the extra weight by the end of 2008! We can all use tomorrow as our first weigh-in. Who's with me Smile?!

Thanks kaumkk for the words of encouragement. I know the weight takes time, but no loss in 4 months get a little frustrating. I will just keep doing what I am doing.

I do track my calories religously. I weigh and log just about everything. I am keeping my intake at about 2200 to 2400 on most days. This is a lifestyle change for me. I am not going back to the old way I use to eat and not exercise. The only craving I get once and a while is a little ice cream and pizza. All in moderation. I just work them into the plan fo the day. I go to the gym at least 4 times a week for cardio and weight lifting. I know things are changing since my wife has commented in how I look even though it does not show on the scale.

Thanks you for the comment about my family. They are my main incentive and you do need the energy to keep up with those two little ones. I just read your profile and congrats on your weight loss. You must feel like a totally different person. Keep up the good work.

I did my weigh in on Saturday and I am at 170 so not a lot of change for the week but I didn't get to work out for two days. I am back on track though this week. I signed up for the avon walk for breast cancer in oct of this year. It is a 39 mile walk spread over two days. I have got some serious training to do as well as fund raising. I have to get 1800 dollars by october. This is a major goal for me to work towards so now I really have motivation to go to the gym every day for other reasons than losing weight. Woo hoo!  Down almost 7 pounds!  Way to go alldolledup!  Soooooo close to getting below 200!

I'll do my weigh-in tomorrow.  I'm crossing my fingers this week since I haven't got in as much exercise as I should.  Oh well.... pound by pound.

Another weigh in for me on saturday and am down to 168, so two pounds for this week. Only 38 more to go. I tried a kickboxing class on saturday and it was so much fun. Also a real calorie burner. He worked my abs so hard ( i didn't know they were still in there) I had a hard time opening cans of pizza sauce today at my 2nd job. Oh well no pain no gain or should I say loss. Hope everyone has a great week.
