A big shout out to my girls from the "Lose 10 lbs by date, 2008" post. ( : Since starting that post, I am down almost 18 lbs.

TODAY WEIGHT: 166
GOAL WEIGHT for next payday (7-20): 160
Todays weight 171.6 - steadily going down
Challenge: at least 2 servings of fruit/veggies and at least 64 oz of water today! ( :
I love that challenge...not really a challenge at all this time of year. I'm really enjoying the seasonal fruits & vegys right now.
I tried doing my leg lifts in a slightly different way yesterday. I'm always conscious of my back as I have scoliosis and can have issues so I was trying to isolate my lower stomach while protecting my lower back. Well, I rolled onto my stomach in the night and when I needed to turn over, I could hardly do it! It hurt so much in the lowest vertebra. DH & I were trying to decide if that was a good or bad thing -- hurting myself vs working new muscles. Guess I'll try and do a little research to figure it out. :| I sort of felt like the "I've fallen and I can't get up..." lady!

I am up for it..... any ideas? how about................20 minutes of abs, arms, legs, and/or butt some time today? (2 10 minutes sessions count, etc)
Darn! When am I going to learn to keep my big mouth shut? There I was...all set for success!
Ok, 20 minutes...grumble, grumble...
But here is to atleast 30 minutes of WOGGING!!!!

worked hard and played hard. Drank all my water. calories were not where I planned but I ended up with a 1000 cal deficit.
Came home from swimming and some how one of our birds let itself out of its cage. I let them out every few days but he did it himself. Getting him back down stairs was the tricky part. The kids finally agreed on a name for our bunny. Nibbles. Because he nibbles their fingers when they feed him.
I don't work tomorrow. Yay! gonna spend the day by the pool.
OK I wanna be a loser too! I will weigh in officially Friday morning because after my gluttonous vacation I know I went up a few pounds and have been avoiding stepping on the scale. And I need a bunch of people to stay on me until I hit my final goal I'm shooting for 140, but will be pumped around 145 I think. I'm pumped now at 160something but don't want to get too comfortable here!
sped!! ( : good to see you, loser! I would be stoked to me in the 160's consistently, but I hear what you are saying..... I have been down as low as 165 and then it bounces around, teasing me. =P jerk scale
I did not meet the 20 minutes of abs, etc, either. I have, however already jogged today, getting ready to get my bike on and plan to Bowflex a little too.

Olivia, you are inspiring. I was laying in bed this morning thinking I could go get on the elliptical. Kids were still in bed. I could go back to sleep. Then I thought about you and how you run most(all) mornings. I got out of bed and did 35 minutes then 10 minutes abs. thanks for the motivation.
I didn't meet yesterdays challenge either but I'm working on it today.
I am so proud of you, girl!!! 35 minutes is a LONG time in the elliptical.

nice to be back after a loooong train journey. but i did walk a lot (sow a beautiful church and a huge monastery) and ate quite sensibly, am at 200 lbs (all time low is 199, ie i am back to being good i guess. my dinner will be baked potatoes with baked garlic (love LOTS of garlic, and i will not see a living human being till tomorrow midday, so i used about 8 cloves:)))

I didn't do 20 seconds let alone 20 minutes, unfortunately. Had a bit of a tummy bug but I'm feeling fine today. :)
I got my to work & back walking in yesterday and 3/4th of it today. I'll probably hitch a ride home though because it's stinky hot and I have several quick jobs to do around the house before we go to dinner. Please send your best BE STRONG vibes my way so I can manage the lasagna & desert without being rude OR overdoing it! (Eeek!) I had a nice salad for lunch in preparation.
I didn't intentionally work out today but I heavy duty cleaned my house and was definetly sweating my butt off then I babysat for the CUTEST 7yr old w/ autism and he loves going to the park so I walked to the park trying to keep up with him on his lil bike and then we took a walk to count cars later i feel like it was atleast 1.5 mi. so I guess that activity is better than none at all right. Tomorrow will be my official how much weight did i gain on vacation weigh in. I admit I have been a lil less OCD about my calories since I hit 160. I know I bounced back up again. It's time to get ocd again to get the rest of the chub gone. Olivia do you think its easier during the school year? I feel like my routine is all outta whack! I guess i need to work on a summer routine.

Hmm, my normal daily abs routines do take approximately 15 to 20 minutes. So I would say I almost made it? abs crunch, reverse crunch, planks, push up, etc.
Here it is, Friday again. I feel like my week just flew by! I didn't accomplish some things that I wanted to do but not a bad week overall.
This morning I weighed in a nice healthy 1.3 pounds less than last week.
That's after the lasagna dinner last night so I smiled. I saved enough cals and ate modest portions so it worked out just dandy.
woohoo chris! I weighed in today at 163 on the nose. I definetly am happy with that one. I didn't gain 4 million pounds on vaca like I thought. Ok its game time for me. Time to get out of the 160s!

I saw 166 the day I started this post. I have vacillated between that low and all the way up to 175 since then??
Today the scale has said all the way from 173 (boo) to the happy low of 166.5. WHo the heck knows. I am sticking with it. I do not see me making my big mouth goal of 160 by payday (7-20), BUT I will preservere! ( ;
It'll soon be the season for gift-buying, and for holiday getaways. So why not buy some travel gifts? For kids, moms, dads.
