  • I kind of had an up and down week I didn't feel like I was eating much but I did sneed a few cookies and brownies that some natzi brought to work.  Been working out in some shape and form each day which is so not like me.  I'm not really excited about my weigh in but at least it is headed in the right direction

5'10", 45 (46 fast approaches). My ultimate goal is 170lbs by Labor Day but I'll be happy with a more realistic goal of 175lbs.

    Week 1 (June 26)- 186

Taken red meat (except bison aka buffalo) out of diet. Need to put more fish in but all in all a great weekend of eating clean and working out. This week (weekend) should be extremely challenging. Good luck to all over the 4th!

I exercise about 45 minutes 5 days a week ( treadmill/elliptical) and eat 1300 cals a day following the 85/15 rule ( I have a major sweet tooth!!)  Any advice , other than put the cookie down fat a**. . . . .?

I'm in. I'm a 5' 6", 61 yo male. Am on beta blockers and other drugs for blood pressure, cholesterol, heart and reflux. The drugs, combined with my age and lower bmr than most make it difficult for me to maintain a 500 cal/day deficit. But I am going to challenge myself to 1 lb/wk. And that includes weeks vacation with attending a wedding! Am gonna need the encouragement!

had family in this weekend AND it was that time of the month so I guess I will see how it goes this next week! I am the one with the messed up toenail, but I think I can finally get back on the treadmill now! Should really help! Also, I am glad my family is leaving so I can go back to not cheating on my fruit and veggies! My colon needs the break!

Those of you that put up unhappy faces next to your no weightloss post or that dropped a couple of pounds but are still unhappy because it was not enough...read on.

I am sure most if not all of us have seen the show Biggest Loser. The contestants live and breathe working out and diet with other people that have the same goal AND they have a personal trainer monitoring them nearly everyday. Think back on the weight loss.... by the 3rd show, almost everyone had slowed to between 3-5 lbs.

Personally, I dont live with a group of like minded people that are helping me stay on track NOR do I have a personal trainer that comes to my house (that is equipped with a personal gym) to make sure I am working out. But, if I did and I didnt lose weight...MAN WOULD I BE MAD!

I am preparing myself for the scale on Monday after this weekend. I fully expect to see my 2 lbs lost last week, back again Tongue out...hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised. Laughing Beer and barbeque...LORD GIVE ME STRENGTH! LOL
