Hi everyone!
I would really like to hear from people who have lost 20 pounds within 10 weeks or have good suggestions on how to do this! I am 21, 5'3'' and about 140-145 and would like to be 120-125 in 10 weeks. Can I do this? And if you have done this, how many calories and what kind of exercises did you do? Thanks everyone!!

Yes - my first ten weeks, in fact. I went from 245 to 223 in 10 weeks. I lost about 15 pounds in the next two and a half months.
i was down by 1.5 lbs yesterday but I ate ice cream today so have to make it up tomm..

Chacha a .8 loss is Great!!! It's always better to lose something than to gain anything. I bet next week you'll see a bigger drop. Keep working hard everyone!

Hey, you guys are still there! I was starting to get worried that no one was going to post! Im impressed! so far, KLA is up with 7.8, chacha not far behind with 7, then loving with 5 and then I had a whopping 4.2 loss this week alone. Apparently, I didnt like losing so bad so I stepped it up a bit. paid off. So i am at 139.8. So nice to break thru the 140 point. and i cant even imagine how much better i would be doing if i actually worked out too. I really have just been eating better, and staying at 1250 every day, no matter if that means i just have a peanut butter jelly sandwich for summer.
wedding/christening/shower season is starting tomorrow. lets see how controlled i am in all of that. this will be the true test!!!
so i found a new trick, I bought a huge bag of the tootsie pops and it has helped me with the eating between meals things. I just pop one in everytime i decide i want something bad. LOL
So where is everyone located?

135, from 136 last friday...ugh i hope the rest doesn't go this slow! i agree with dptvas...tips would be appreciated! maybe next week i'll see a bigger difference?! (fingers crossed)

Just be careful with how you lose that weight. It seems obvious, but the slower you lose the weight, the more likely you are to keep it off. :)
Hmm...I forgot that maybe everyone is 4th of july-ing. i just got home from work...i was supposed to work til 3 a.m. so i didn't make any plans : (...hmph...well if anyone is still working towards their goals post anytime!! and keep up the motivation!

ehhh.. this has been a rough weekend.. i went to nyc & had a bbq so... i havent gone up one time this summer so i'll just work extra hard this week and see how it goes. i'm going to visit school this weekend but i'm going to try to eat well & exercise while im there. sorry i was late to update!!
If this group is closed does anyone know of another group/forum to join for losing 20 lbs in about 10 weeks? I have got to lose weight before my friends wedding. I am a bridesmaid and I don't feel good about being in this wedding at my current weight so I have to get seriously motivated and after my hysterectomy 2.5 years ago weight loss has been impossible but I am going to do everything I can to make a difference.
No psycgirl, but maybe we could just start a new one! Everyone here has faded out...except the poster right before you (sorry forgot her name). I have lost about 8 lbs in these 4 weeks and so now i am 20 lbs away from my
ULTIMATE goal! Let me know what you guys think...so we could maybe invite new members to up the motivation! unfortunately i fell off my bike yesterday and broke my elbow...argh thats what i get for exercising...so i need some tips!
Well, I am definitely up for starting a new group! I just joined here yesterday because I was looking for some motivation so that I didn't feel like I was dieting and exercising alone for the next 11 weeks. How do we go about starting one up and inviting in some new people?
I am so sorry that you broke your elbow? Are you ok? If you wanted to still exercise without moving your arm could you walk on a treadmill or ride a stationary bike sitting as straight up as you can so that you don't use your arms to hold onto the handles.

I have lost 20 pounds over the last 4.5 weeks. I have been very careful with my calorie intake, usually keeping it under 1500 for the day. Additionally, I ride my recumbent bike for at least 30 minutes everyday, at a pace of 15-17mph. It was hard at first, but the weight is coming off. I plan on losing another 15-20 by the end of July. Wish me luck.

6/20- 117.5lbs
6/27- 116lbs
7/8-115lbs
I am down 1lb!!! Which is great to me considering that I went a little crazy this past week during vacation. However, that is the weigh in from last week so...I am a bit scared that I will see a gain this week because of the numerous CARB-infested BBQ's from last week. Congrats to everyone who has lost weight! Keep working hard and staying strong!!!
