Teens: what did YOU eat today?

I'm kind of copying the oh so popular topic found in the food forum. This is different, though: for teens! I think it's pretty interesting to see what we teenagers eat, and this will kind of give the chance for teens to see what other healthy foods they can add to their diet.. I sure know that my diet needs improvement XD

Oh, and the same rules as the one in the other forum applies.. especially do not post if you are not eating enough. Nobody wants to see it, and you're only hurting yourself in the long run; believe me, I found out the hard way.

I'll start!
breakfast: cheerios, a yogurt, & and orange
lunch: a turkey sandwich (i love low carb bread! really.) an apple, another yogurt, &wheat thins
after school: a peanut butter sandwhich on whole grain & an orange
dinner: probably light soup & a salad or something!

Breakfast- Old-fashioned oatmeal w/raisins, blueberries, cinnamon, crystallized ginger, and fortified soymilk; Also, a serving of mixed, dried fruit on the side

Lunch- A piece of whole wheat bread w/natural, low sodium peanut butter, a cup of fresh strawberries, and a .5 cup each of steamed broccoli and cauliflower

Snack- 4 oz peach soy yogurt and a serving of Annie's chocolate bunny grahams

Supper- Spinach salad w/tomatoes, radishes, bell pepper, cucumber, and vegan pepperoni, drizzled w/olive oil, with a serving of Kashi cheese crackers on the side

Breakfast- oatmeal, oat bran, flaxseed, pumpkin, skim milk, cinnamon

Snack- chewey chocolate fiber one bar

Lunch- sardines in tomato sauce, mixed with black pepper, green onions, onions, with fat free american cheese all over whole wheat pita bread

Snack- sugar free fudsicle

Dinner- chicken soup with crumbled tofu, beans(with tomatoes, onions, &chilis), broccoli, &carrots

Snack- apple

Breakfast: cottage cheese with wasa crackers and a little bit of home-made cornbread.

Snack: cashew nuts (my weakness!)

Lunch: (will be) a ww wrap with luncheon mean turkey and ham. (condiments: mustard and hot sauce)

Dinner: (will be) ham with vegetables

B: strawberry peach smoothie and oatmeal

L: tuna salad w/lots of veggies and spinach in a LTF tortilla, apple w/cinnamon, and light cheese stick

S: homemade caramel iced latte and trail mix

D: scrambled eggs and salsa in bible bread pita w/salsa, "fried" potatoes, mushrooms, and bell peppers

S: cashew cookie larabar

OH my goshness! They taste so super awesome! Try the sourdough one. It may taste like cardboard at first but once you put cottage cheese on it, oh my gosh! It is so delicious! You should seriously try it!

Breakfast: 1 Weetabix with rice milk

Lunch: Pineapple and banana

Snacks: 3 Banana's, 2 Apples, 1 weetabix and rice milk

Dinner: 2 Potato hashrbowns with salad

Snacks: More salad with Avocado
breakfast: pear, black coffee

no time for lunch as i was in a movie theatre all day :]

dinner: a bit of indian curried potato, eggplant and yam. garlic hummus with carrot and cucumber. three more pears. hemp seed granola.

lots of delicious things, i feel like such a hippie! [:

Breakfast: oatmeal made with skim. milk, 2 cooked plums, brown sugar and cinnamon.
dark chocolate delight soy yoghurt.

Lunch: wholewheat toast with half a can of tuna in spring water, spring onion, lettuce and 1 T. really light mayo.

pear
navel orange.

Dinner: wholewheat pasta with 200g. natural greek yoghurt, baked pepper and courgettes.

Snack: dry cookie crisp cereal.

Before bed: 2 cadburys instant hot chocolates.

yesterday I had:

breakfast: 1 cup kashi go lean crunch, 3/4 cup raspberry yogurt, mango juice, handfull of raspberry gronola

snack: 1 cup organic daybreak cereal

lunch: 1/3 cup cottage cheese, 10 almonds, 1/4 cup dried cranberries and raisins, 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds, 7 celery strips

snack: baby carrots, red pepper hummus, strawberries

dinner: 2 cups salad, blueberries, mandrin oranges, 1 slice of turkey, 1/3 cup mashed potatoes, 1/2 cup butternut squash, 1/2 cup corn 

snack: 1 cup grapes, small slice pita bread with apple jam, 1 cup green tea, 1 tbsp honey, 2 swiss cheese crackers
Breakfast- Strawberry soy yogurt w/ fresh blueberries and .5 oz of raw almonds mixed in, with two slices of whole wheat toast on the side

Snack- An instant cream of wheat packet made w/fortified soymilk, and a cup of fresh strawberries

Lunch- Whole wheat and flax rotini w/grilled vegetable tapenade and fresh sliced tomatoes

Snack- A small cameo apple, and 7-grain crispbread w/a laughing cow cheese wedge

Supper- A cup of Health Valley No Salt Added Vegetable soup, a plain vegan Boca patty, a serving of FlatEarth veggie chips, and .5 cup each of steamed broccoli and cauliflower

Breakfast: 1.5 cups of brown rice with one egg mixed in, nuked in the microwave.

Lunch: planning on having a banana and an orange, maybe a tomato.

Dinner: Spinach salad with tomato, green pepper, flax seed, lime juice, and pepper. Maybe some tuna.

 thanks, i will try it! how are the fiber rye ones?

Breakfast- healthy muffin/cake i made with: oatmeal, oat bran, peanut butter, NSA fudgsicle, tofu, chocolate, cranberries, canned pumpkin, and milk.

Snack- cucumbers with fat free ranch dressing

Lunch- tofu, ketchup, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, whole wheat bread

Snack- chicken soup with okra, onions AND a TON of garlic!!! mmmm...

Dinner- beans, tomatoes, onions, chilis with fat free american cheese all over awhole wheat pita bread

Snack- grapes, air-popped popcorn

 

B: whole grain muffin, fage w/reduced sugar strawberry jam, and strawberries.

L: pita sand. w/hummus and veggies, light cheese stick, and orange

S: brown sugar cinnamon almonds and apple

D: veggie quesadilla, refried beans and lots of salsa

Dessert: cup of Stonyfield farm organic dark chocolate frozen yogurt (Mmmmm...)

I LOVE it.   I sautee the veggies in a lil EVOO and mix with tomato sauce (or your fave pasta sauce)... with everything on it, it tastes just like pasta to me... for a fraction of the calories...

Breakfast: Kashi GoLean Crunch with yogurt and a banana

Snack: Apple

Lunch: Two pieces of whole wheat bread with a banana and Smart Balance mayo

Snack: Fiber One raisin bran with plain soymilk

Dinner: Baked Sweet potato with promise light, egg whites with spinach and black beans and cauliflower, and a vegan boca patty

Snack: yogurt

...I had a great day today foodwise, I can do this! =)

 thanks so much. i saw that you eat ezekiel bread also. is that good? or is one of those "light as a feather" diet breads?
