Clean Eating Challenge
Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it.
I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me??
There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!!
All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date.
A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself
Let's be honest with each other & keep each other eating clean k? The PRIZE to the winner? Well that's easy - weight loss!!!!!!!!! (or maintenance for those at that stage!) Let's do this!

hey all, I'm back in the game today!!! Gonna make up two days worth of missed workouts over this week (plus what I"msupposed to be doing everyday too). & start running again.
Clean eating starts today! I am gonna look at this as if this is the first day I'm starting to lose weight.
I put on several pounds over the last few days & HAVE to get it off & now!!!

tully- I agree, those words aren't the best. Feel free to use whatever wording you like. I know how some words can be "harmful" to the brain & cause us to be less motivated.

Hope your ulcers get better (can they get bettter or does that stuff need surgery?). Do you have some pics you're gonna post of China?
nicole- I think not eating clean is going overboard. One bad thing does not constitute a cheat. Unless those are the rules you hold for yourself.

I should have asked for a restart for June 2nd. So clean for 3 full days + today.
Still clean! I have been especially enjoying riding my bike to work everyday, it is a great way to start the day and a perfect way to unwind at the end of work.
ugh i am out again. i don't know why this is going on! my willpower used to be freakin' perfect!!!! absolutely perfect with no mess-ups and i can't find it again!
littlefroggie, I'm in your same boat. I am having one heck of a
time getting back on an even keel with this, after feeling like I had
it completely under control 2 short weeks ago. I'm so bad at
doing things for myself, how about we team up and promise each other
that tomorrow will be a clean day? I'll do it if you will.

Yeah, purplechowder, I can't hold the mentality of, "Oh, I'll just have a little taste." That just doesn't work for me. If I have a taste, I'll want the entire thing. For me it's best to not have it at all. After a while (sometimes a long while) the craving for that specific food decreases.

Tully, I've done the 8 min abs workout before, but lately whenever I do ab workouts, its just whatever I remember from what I was told to do at track and field practice. Cross crunches, side crunches and leg lifts and stuff like that. I'll check out that video you mentioned.

Son of a $%*#! Ok, this is getting ridiculous!! I'm having to reset my date every single day! How the hell did I do this practically flawlessly for the first 90 days & now I'm falling apart? I do not want to go back to where I was, I want to keep losing & get to that damn goal already.
Sorry, I'm just so mad at myself. I know it's no one else's fault but my own and I've really let myself down.
I gained 8.2 lbs in less than a week, jsut from eating like crap - isnt' that insane????? I know it's mostly not fat, etc., but this has to stop NOW or I"ll soon be at that point of no return, so to speak.
K, today, I am permitting mylelf 2 treats instead of 1, so hopefully that helps me to not want to eat more bad stuff.

purplechowder - I ate a big back of dark chocloate m&ms this past weekend too. I can't just have a little bit of any kind of chocolate. If it's in the house, I'm eating it! & all of it!!!!!!!

Still eating clean! And somehow I lost 5 lbs last week!

I may have to do a short and long term goal... the short term goal is not to eat sugary snacks even if it means consuming maintenance-level calories--(I am a maniac around chocolate). Once I get that sugar-splurge urge out of my system for a couple of days or even a week, I'll look at going back down to 1200 calories as a long term goal. I have to admit that no weight loss is better than weight gain...last check I gained back 5-7lbs :(. I'll let you know how it works. It's worked so far today.

Staying clean. Work has gotten really busy, which has kept me from thinking about the candy jar. I've been walking to the trolley station every day to go to work ... it's about 15 minutes down in the morning and 20 minutes uphill in the evening. And I was going to weigh in today after yoga, but the scale was broken and I was scared to switch to another one. Isn't that silly? As if this is my lucky scale or something!
Alright, finally, day one down!!!!!!!! Well, it's 9:45 and I'm certain I won't consume anything else. I feel like I'm back in this now. Let's rock it!

Hi everyone,
I would like to join in this challenge. Unfortunately this is my big problem...i eat clean one or two weeks and then some 2-3 days ruin everything. Last 3 days I gain this what I've lost 1 week bofore. I feel awful.
I wake up this morning and say "No more!", but don't know how long i could do this.

I went to the doctor, who's doing some tests to see if it really is ulcers. If it is, they'll just give me some medicine. Either way, he said the stomach pain isn't super-dangerous or anything, so no worries! :)
I will post pics of China later.... I'm STILL adjusting to the time zone change, haha. I slept until 9:00pm tonight. It was a little weird, but I'll let you all know when I've got pics up.
