I'm looking for a 130/120 club, but I don't see any topics started.

If anyone knows of the proper topic, would you mind letting me know?

Thank you :)

Still hovering at the 131 mark.....The closer I get to that 125 goal, the harder it seems to say no to those "no-no" foods.  But still haven't lost all motivation, still working out and eating well.  Not going totally crazy.....need to get rid of all my kids Halloween candy.  grrr...

down to 134 this weekend! i felt  smaller, and then the scale finally budged from 138 & 136 down to 134.

hitting the gym hard this week, i'm doing more running versus elliptical, and i'm doing weights.

burnyh- i don't understand either why when i get soclose to a goal, the bad foods i've been able to avoid become immediately more irresistable. i think its our subconcious messing with us, freaking out about achieveing it.

Hey everyone! Im 21 and I'm 5'7" and currently weigh 126. On Saturday a.m I weighed 125.5 and I was so excited, but then this a.m i weighed 127!!! Im so upset.

My goal is 120 and ive noticed the past 2 weeks I haven't been losing. why is that?? Its making me so sad!! I consume no more than 1200 cals a day, I jazzercise 4 days a week for 1 hour. 20 mins of the class is weight training.

I dont know if ive hit some kind of Plato??

Hey Everyone. My name is Allie... I've been hovering around this site for awhile but not really contributing. I'm 24, married, and looking to get back down to about 125 (where i was 1 year ago). In college, at my highest I was 178, got down to a lowest of 123, and now I'm back up to 135sh. SO....

I'd like to lose 5-10 pounds!!

Weigh in this AM: 135
Allie--losing 50 pounds is quite an accomplishment!  Hopefully these 10 pounds shouldn't be too hard.  What are you doing to try and lose?
I've been hovering around 135 for over a year now, and cannot knock these last 5 or 10 lbs off. I'm 5'3" and pretty muscular (under the bit of flab I have), so I have no desire to be below 120. I was 195ish for most of my upper teenage years, but lost 60 lbs in about 6 months my sophomore year of college. I was pretty happy with myself at 130, though I toned and lost a bit more, but a summer in England killed me with 10 lbs of flab--back at 135. That was summer 2006, and I STILL can't ditch these last few lbs. I tried doing what I did before, but just watching calories and working out didn't help. I've tried all kinds of different variations on calorie intake, but nothing is working. Arg. I mean, I worked at a very active Girl Scout camp this past summer 2007, ran 3 miles each morning, and ate between 1500 and 1800 calories a day, and no scale movement/very little clothes fitting change. I am STUCK!!! Could I have thyroid problems? Does anyone else know what to do? I mean, I'm doing fine at this maintaining business, but my size 4's I got when I was about 5 lbs lighter are tighter than I'd like. I eat about as healthy as a stressed out college senior can, lots of fiber, well balanced diet with variety of veggies, enough protein, reasonable amount of fat. I dunno. Suggestions?
Samantha1104 - 1.5 lb fluctuation is not a big deal - really.   More than likely it was water weight or the fact that you had more food still in your belly from a meal or something.  Don't get too obsessed with that little change.  Also, consuming 1200 cals a day and exercising is not going to help you lose weight because you are essentially starving your body while trying to fuel your work-outs.  Your body is holding onto all those calories because it is probably into starvation mode.  If you are not working out, 1200 cals is OK, but if you are burning 500 cals during Jazzercise, then you are essentially consuming 700 calories which is not enough.  I wouldn't be surprised if you ate a little more, that it would help you lose weight.  That might be the "plateau" you hit.  Your body doesn't want to let you get rid of any more 'fat' if you are 'starving.'
11/14/07 Weigh In

127.8--First time the scale has been below 128!  Although, I've been fluctuating like crazy lately, so I'm not sure it's my true weight.  But, I'll take it this week.

Next week is Thanksgiving!  What are you guys thinking?  Not counting calories that day, but not going overboard at the same time?

Only 2.8 lbs away from my 1st goal :)
Congratulations greatmarie!  I can't wait till I can see the 120s consistantly.  Way to go!
Happy Day Before Thanksgiving!

I don't know what happened this week.  On Monday I was 127.6 which would have been a 0.2 lb loss--but then this morning I was 129.0.  I'm not sure which weight to count for this week.  Maybe I'll weigh in tomorrow morning and see which one it's closest to....

Have a Happy Thanksgiving and don't stress too much about all the food :)

Yay! I can now be in this group! My scale said 139 this weekend! So its not great... but I am down 22lbs.  3lbs to my 1st goal (hoping by christmas)... getting back to my summer 2006 weight. Ultimate goal 125lbs! it seems so close and yet so far. My loss is pretty steady, about 1-2lbs a week, started off a little faster, but I slack a little more in counting calories since mid-october.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
I am 5'5 127 trying for 120. but i want to tone up too!
I´m 5.6 and 124, sometimes 125 lbs depending on a day. I´d like to get down to 115 where I was in summer 2005...

Hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving! I had a really good one this year, and lots to be thankful for.

I've seen 130.0 a couple times in the last week or so! but 132 yesterday, 134 today. I will be breaking 130 this coming month!!

I feel your pain, hbbroadbent :)  I've been seeing 130 this week, after being down to 127.  I don't think it's mathematically possible for me to have actually gained 2+ pounds last week, as I know I didn't eat an excess of 7000 calories.  I counted carefully all week!

Thanksgiving down--Christmas (and all the parties=food) to go.  We can do it!
It is really frustrating to be at that 130 mark isn't it?  I've been teetering on it for what seems like forever! One morning its 130.8.  Another 129.8 (I was estatic).  Yet another 130.1.  What will tomorrow bring?  131.0?  TTOM is on it's way.  UGH!
How's everyone been doing?  I'm barely hovering under 130--every time I weigh myself it's either 129.6 or 129.8.  I've been there for about two weeks :(  What happened to my 127?  I want it back!  My body is really stuck.  No significant weight loss for at least a month--and I have been working out a lot and maintaining a net calorie loss everyday.

hey ladies! i'm checking in. i think we post sporadically b/c at this level, the weight comes of sooo slooowly. am i right?

131.8 this morning! woot woot. tonight is my pilates class, last one b/c sunday i leave for cancun!! i didn't achieve all i wanted to as far as bikini body goes, but this will not be the last beach opportunity i have- i have the rest of my life to just get hotter and hotter ;) i know i can't rush this, i have to just keep plugging along.

i wish everyone luck through the christmas season- let's enjoy ourselves, but not tooo much ;) people on other boards have scared me with stories of undoing months of work in a couple short weeks! perish the thought...

♥ heather

I just have to tell someone that I weighed myself this morning and I was 126.8!  I'm sure it was just some fluctuation, and I'll be back at 128 or 129 tomorrow or the next day--but nevertheless, I'm very excited by the prospect that I may be getting closer to my goal!
