I found Slim  in  6  to be great for toning, it is not dreadfully hard to do. I did the 6 weeks and found my self toned!  I looked great, I did the Slim and Six pack daily too which made my abs look decent.  I have not done this in about 2 years now but would love to start it again, that is if i can get my girls to nap at the same time!  Anyone doing it, or about to start it?  I am ready for the 6 week challenge.  I am eager to start but fear not following through... I know it works!  I have seen results firsthand!  I need a buddy!

Well finished day number 5, and did the full RIU for the first time(besides when I tried yesterday), I had to take a few breaks during the leg excercises on all fours, only because my legs are still hurting above the knees. But it felt good, it did burn but I know that something is happening then yay!
Also when should I measure myself? Should I do it every two weeks or what? And when should I weigh myself, I have already gone down a few pounds but I was also doing excercises before SI6. Thanks.

Jessica
Today was supposed to be day number 6 for me but when I got up this morning I could barely move my left leg. So I am going to take today and possibly tomm. off to heal up a bit, at least from RIU. I did do the Slim and Limber and most of the ab dvd today so I did get some excercise, was going to do a lil more but the baby thought it was time for him to get some attention lol.
Hope everyone is doing great!

I just ordered my package.  It should b here this week.  I'm very anxious to start and see what I can accomplish in six weeks.  The infomercial looked so convincing and all the review I've read so far were great.  Hope I'll be successful.
I am on day 7 now (excercise days that is)...but have been doing it for 9 days now. Made it through another day of RIU and it was much better this time...the two days of rest really helped! So far the motivation is still there and I hope it stays. I am having a hard time with trying to find the right time to do the excercises because of the kids...I think I am going to have to start getting up early every morning to do it....expecially when I switch to BIU...in order to make it through an hour of excercise I will need the kids to be asleep lol.
Welcome mariposa...and hope everyone is still keeping it up and doing good!

should we also be doing more cardio exersise, what does everyone think?  I mean, when I do the slim in 6 (I am on RIU) I feel as though I am getting really good muscle work outs but not the best aerobic work out.  I have a lot of muscle, under a lot of fat.  haha
I am curious to try this program but I heard 75% of the results come from the diet plan they have. Is this true?
Aerow: I would also like to know this... I can tell that I am getting a good muscle workout also but doesnt really seem a good cardio workout. I do want to work the muscles and tone them but I also need to lose the fat first. I really hope that I am getting a good cardio with this because I will be really discouraged at the end of the 6 weeks if I didnt really lose any weight just built muscle under it lol. I mean muscle is good but I want to be able to show something for it not just know its there lol.

Jasmin: I am not sure...but like with any excercise...without healthy eating you arent going to succeed very well...but that is a good question I havent heard this before about it being mostly their diet plan but would be good to know. I am mostly going by the diet plan but cant keep it to a perfect T always hehe.
I did cardio last night after a session of RIU.  I didn't do any cardio during my first week of SI6 because I was feeling kinda tired afterwards, but last night I felt pretty energized, so I went to the gym and hopped on the elliptical.  I didn't feel like I was getting much cardio in just by doing RIU.  The only problem with this for me is that I ended up working out much later than I wanted to.  I might start doing SI6 in the mornings before work and then go to the gym in the evening . . .
yay half way through week 2!
I am also doing cardio with RIU also, and just as you said Christine, I didnt do cardio during my first week also due to be worn out, but am doing fine now. But I have to say that I feel so much better at the end of my workout if I add the cardio (its called drop it in 30) after RIU...I am a lil light headed doing both of them back to back....but I dont really have any time do them seperate hehe. I have to wake up before the kids do so I can get my workout time done, its a little bit hard having to wake early (after going to bed late lol) and do excercise...but I know I will get used to it.
Oh and if anyone has any ideas on a really good cardio video pease let me know...because mine is already starting to get a bit easy. Drop it in 30 was what I was doing 2 weeks before SI6, so my body is getting used to it, at least I know something is happening hehe.
Hey everyone, i ordered my SIS pack today !!!  how long does it usually take to come in?
New to this site, read all great info posted.  Ordered si6 two days ago, email said it shipped today.  Different history than most, have two kids, gained 75 pounds after first born because of unexpected death in fam. (plus baby weight)  That was 9 yrs ago, had one more baby last year.  Gastric bypass 9 weeks ago, have lost 46 pounds but still long way to go, now weigh 215, only 5'4.  At one time in life very athletic, not so much now, I know it will be a slow start for me, but very anxious to start.  Must follow surgeons diet, but allowed to do any exercises I choose.  Also have treadmill at home.  Pictures to come soon.
jessica 90: It depends on if you payed the extra $15 for it to come faster...I did and it took about a week and a half....if you didnt then I have heard that it has taken from 2-4 weeks...sorry I am not more helpful.

welcome to the new members of this board! I was so glad when I found this...there are alot of things posted here that have been encouraging and helpful.

I am almost through week two, I have 1 more day to go. I have almost mastered RIU yay! There are still a few parts that I slow down for for a few seconds but then get right back into it. I havent seen any changes in inches and only about 2 pound loss (plus I lost some doing my own excercise before SI6) but I am getting much srtonger, I am able to do more push ups, lunges, and sit up/crunches then Ihave been able to do in a LONG time. I dont really expect to lose any weight real fast and inches because I only needed to lose about 10-15 pounds in the beginning and that is the hardest sometimes. But the prgoress that I have made gives me confidence that I will see results in a couple weeks.
Still on RIU - I'm at Week 2/Day 4, and my legs are no longer screaming at me halfway through that routine where you're on your arms and knees and lifting your legs up and down.  Hooray!  I was kinda bummed because last night I took SI6 to my boyfriend's place, and his DVD player decided to not work anymore.  Ugh!  I was really in the mood to work out, so I ended up using the resistance bands while I watched tv.
Week 8

HA! You like that.. that I'm on week 8 and still doing RIU? I don't care! I started ... March 5 and lost almost 20lbs.
I've got a great routine now which involes cardo and RIU. I just told myself that I'm going to work on my "pooch" then I'll tone. I'm so happy that SI6 really help me loose a lot of weight.
I'm really happy for everyone starting out. It's a great thing! I promise. Just don't lose motivation! You are doing the right thing! Be your own biggest losers. I will check on you guys later on!
Hey....i just started SI6 today and I LOVE IT!! I can see that it's gonna have a big impact on my fitness level and am sooo pumped!  Woohoo!
its super late but wanted to post before going to bed...I made it through week two and feeling so much stronger, I have only lost a quarter inch in my waiste (if that lol) but I have hardened up in my abs, thighs, and arms yay..oh and my arms have gained a quarter inch, which is good for me because I had little arms with no muscle before I started! I am looking forward to what the comming results will be.
Good luck to everyone!!
Jessica

Hello All!

I ordered my slim in 6 so long ago. I just pulled it out of the box. Last summer I was very pregnant, and had my baby girl in Sept/06. But because I was pregnant, I felt pretty enough to forget what my body looked like and really enjoy the first summer since high school. Now with summer quickly approaching again, I really want to feel that way again! I started on Sunday May 6/07. I missed yesterday (sucks too, but my muscles were soooo sore and my daughter was very sick) but I am on day two today. I figure I just won't have day 7 as a day off this week. NP. I'm back on track! Anyone else out there just starting?
Hi all ^_^ Sorry I been away for so long. So good to go back to the thread and reading everyone is doing great.

I also felt RIU focused more on mucles. So, if you worry about cardio during RIU, then hop on to an extra cardio routine if you still got the steam for it. Once you get to BIU I bet you will get enough of cardio during that whole hour ~.^
