Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...

I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.

Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....

Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

Yes unicat, it's extremely close to TTOM, I don't generally get bloated during day to day life, I hate salt.
Everything seems to taste too salty to me lol.


i have never added salt to my food, uck.. but i have found that there is a lot of sodium in some of the stuff i eat, so i have been watching my sodium intake everyday also...  they say on a 2000 cal diet you shouldnt get more then 2500 mg of sodium a day..  i try to keep mine around 2000 mg... or less.. :)
I got it!  How fun!  I can't wait to be at that weight!

I'll actually count my sodium for the next couple days, but I'm positive I'm wayyy under 2000mg!

When I use to go out to eat and have french fries, I requested them to add no salt.

I can't stand soy sauce, if it's mixed in with something for an asian sauce thingie I'll eat it though.

Everyone I know seems to love salty things, I've always felt like an odd duck, nice to meet someone who feels the same.
Now I gained the weight back :O  I'm 158 now lol.  22 more pounds to go until I'm 136!
Different time of day infincat?  that can cause a quick difference.  If you are completely obsessed with your scale (as most of us are :) weigh yourself at the same time each day.


Sorry guys--I LOVE salt--but I am concious of what is already present in foods, so I have stopped adding it to daily meals--my popcorn is another story alltogether!

I need a butt kick to get downstairs and workout--I'm curled up in bed and I am toasty warm!

You are too late--but because I knew someone would kick my butt for me, and I went and worked out! yay! NOW I'm going to bed--it's after 9pm on the east coast!

Today my scale read 149.5!!!  yayayayayayayay!  So I need to see if this holds for a week (at least) before I believe it...my trend line is still over 150, so there you go!

Those of you who are/have added exercise to your weight loss program--do you just feel good?  I mean, my weight is not coming off fast at all, but I am moving better, I feel stronger, my hip hurts a lot less than it did a month ago (arthritis)...any of you feeling that?  It's something to be aware of to help keep us on the right course, especially when the scale isn't moving.  It helps me remember that it's not about how thin I can get, but how healthy and strong I can be.  I may not get to my goal weight because of my exercise program, but I can get to the shape I want!

YAY Dee :)  i am so glad you broke the 150 barrier :)  i, on the other hand, gained a half a lb back.. :(  am hoping its muscle haha....was at 149 this morning.. and my trend line still went down, so its now at 150 even :)

yes i felt better when i added exercise...  and i am glad your hip is feelin better, that was the whole point of you losing weight and gettting in shape, right??  so its definitely helping you :)

I need a quick fix so I'm going low carb.  I've done this before.
I weigh myself in the A.M. without shoes but I gained weight cause I ate junk food :O

i weighed in this morning at 148.5 :) down a half a lb..  my trend line is now below 150 (149.80, haha..)  but we all know how the weekends go... and we are going out to breakfast this morning here.. to Dennys... i am going to order the fit fare veggie omelet with english muffin... we will see how that goes :)  going to do my exercise before eating too.. which is unusual for me, hope i dont get sick from exercising without eating.. ugh...  hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend so far.. :)

I was unable to weigh myself this morning because the scale is in my parents room and I get up early to go to work on the weekends. Oh well, I think  just won't weigh on the weekends, just during the week.
I weigh 156 today.  I tried to low carb but I failed before lunch time came around.  I've never tried counting calories.  I just eat less when I'm dieting and eat "healthy".

thank you morningstarfire :)  i appreciate the compliment...  funny thing is..  i messed up today,.. lol.. but i was walking around shopping all day, and kept seeing myself in the shop windows..  going "wow, i look good" lol..  sometimes it amazes me what i dont see on a daily basis... :) 

on to my mess up.. ugh...  i had great intentions (arent they usually great intentions??)...  this morning...  got up, exercised... got showered, and got the family up..  so we went to dennys for breakfast..  which i got what i said i was gonna get :) yay me.. and drank water with it...  then we went shopping at a large garage sale...  then went looking for bedroom furniture and for me a dress for the sub ball ....  we were walking mostly from like 830am - 2 pm...  well 2 pm rolled around, and i was starving, kids were starving, hubby was starving..  so we went to my favorite restaurant, and i got chicken parmigian.. ugh..  shared it with my daughter, so not too bad on that, but the worst part was i ate at least 6 garlic rolls with it.. ugh...  so my calories are over what i burned today..    AND my sodium is waaaaaaaaaaay high..  ugh.. i am sooo frustrated, and i know the scale is gonna be up tomorrow, between the excess calories, and the extreme sodium...  blah.... 

hope everyone else is having a much better weekend..
