weigh in time..

SW: 320 lbs.

LAST WEEK: 219 lbs.

THIS WEEK: 218 lbs.

WEEK LOSS: 1 lb.

TOTAL LOSS: 102 lbs.

so i have reached another plateau maybe. i hope not. but i didn't do anything different this past week so i don't know why only a pound. maybe my body is upset with me for losing too fast, so it's saying slow down! either way, a loss is a loss and it's better than a gain, so i'm ok with that. hopefully next week will be better.

and thank you guys for your kind words last week. i feel like a new man and i love it. i wish you all the best of luck. you can do it!!!!

I'm late

Starting: 151.something

last week: 147.4

this week: 146.0

GW: 140

Starting: 167

Last Week: 156

This week: 155

Goal: 135

Let's do this.

Weigh in Day

Alright I'll start it off, with my SUPER GREAT WEIGHT LOSS

SW:151

Last week: 146

This week: 145.8

lol a lil sarcasm to start the morning off right. I had a lil binge on tuesday so I'm not too mad at my low weight loss.

amayou, a loss is a loss. always better than a gain. so good for you. you are doing good. keep it up.

now my weigh in...

SW: 320 lbs.

LAST WEEK: 218 lbs.

THIS WEEK: 215 lbs.

WEEK LOSS: 3 lbs.

TOTAL LOSS: 105 lbs.

the weight loss feels as if it's slowing down, but i guess looking at the numbers, it hasn't. weird. i am really going to try to start biking to work every day. gas prices have hit 4.60 a gallon here and i'm sick of paying for it. i only live a little over 3 miles from work, so why not? it's a good workout and it's summertime. i gotta do it.

Good job guys! I am still 172 and extrememly frustrated. Im eating right and exercising and yet my weight stays the same... Im doomed to weigh 172 for the rest of my life!?

I have been drinking more these days because the weather has been so nice. I drank quite a bit on Monday. I guess I have to either cut out the alcohol or step up the workouts 'cause Im getting upset over here lol. I just want to see the scale move!

Im having lunch with a friend and then dinner at my dads for a belated fathers day and my brothers birthday, tonight. I know there will be bad food and booze involved so I just have to watch what I eat/drink and workout extra hard tomorrow and all week.... I cant weigh in at 172 again. Im getting depressed about it.... but I cant give up.

I am new at this. I am 23 yrs old and weigh more than I ever have. I have gained 60lbs. in 3 years and have been dealing with Fibromyalgia for about the same amount of time. I weigh 206 lbs and am feel terrible about myself. I am hoping that coming on here will give me the support to try and lose this weight. I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years and he just doesn't understand b/c he's a twig and can and does eat anything he wants. That makes it harder to make healthy food choices as well. I know he loves me the way I am but I don't love me the way I am! I would like to get down to 150lbs and want to start an exercise program I can stick with. I have 6 dogs so have lots of walking partners and have a bike to ride but any real strenous exercise affects my fibro and I can't get out of bed! So any advice! I have started the calorie counter and seem to be consistently below the recommended 1,600 calories it says I should eat daily. Help!!

I'm quite sick, and unbelievably stressed right now, so please pardon my negativity...

Last Week: 164.6

This Week: 165.6

So, I did all the right things this week: ate right, got back on track with my working out, and I'm fatter than I was last week. Sweet. I'm glad doing the right thing is working out so well for me.....Yell

Welcome Arnold! I was in a similar place a few years ago. I have a condition called interstitial cystitis, which affects the bladder. Mine was so bad that all of the muscles in my core were functioning incorrectly. I literally could not walk around the kitchen and make dinner without being in so much pain that I would be hospitalized. I met with a physical therapist and was able to retrain all of those muscles. Now, I can work out without pain (most days), and the weight has started to come off. Just be patient, and hang in there.

Brett, Amayou, nice work. A loss is a loss and that is something to celebrate.

Kirsten- You will find the 160s, I know it.

I've been sick...and teeth pulled...and all in all just dreadful.

SW: 190lbs

Last week: 176

This week: 173

I also failed at my goal for 170lbs by June 7th.

Hoping for 135 by 12/31/08. Is that unrealistic?

hey guys!  i'm new here but really excited to see a group for 20somethings.  i just graduated from college and am starting law school in the fall.  between all the drinking and a semester abroad (where i ate as if i was on a vacation for 6 full months) i had gained 20 lbs over the past 4 years.  Since I'm pretty short its a fairly dramatic difference.  I've been using CC and am down 7 lbs and hoping to lose 8 more.  Mostly I want to get into healthy lifestyle habits that don't go away as soon as I'm busy or stressed (because I think I will be busy/stressed a lot next year).  And I fit into my shorts from pre-study abroad already!

Hello Arnoldc

To answer your question i dont think hitting 135 lbs is unrealistic but maybe itll be too hard to hit it by the end of december.  I was told by a doctor to try to loose 5 lbs a week so that its harder to gain it back.  Set small goals monthly to help you feel sucessful./  But yes hiting a major goal like 135 would be awesome.  my start weight was

183.5 Januart 1st

todays weight is 152.5

total loss on 31 lbs. thats in 5 almost 6 months .

It was faster at first then it slowed down quiet a bit.  Good luck with your weight loss i know you will acheive your main goal!!

Hey everyone,

I'm new here and I have been looking for some my age kids to relate to.

I'm 20 years old and 5'4"

Starting Weight: 164

Current: 156

Goal: 130

I still have a ways to go. I want to reach my goal by my birthday in January :) You guys seem to be doing really well in this group so keep it up!

P.S. I'm doing a diet called the zig zag, is any one else doing this?

I know that it's not Friday, but I am moving today and tomorrow, and probably won't even be able to find the scale tomorrow. Rather than skip the weigh in, I figured I would weigh in early. Despite my frustration last week, I've just been sticking with things. Not working out a whole lot, because packing has taken over my life.....but here goes...

Last Week: 165.6

This Week: 164.4

have fun moving jstone. i HATE moving. i have moved apartments 6 times in the past 5 years. i vow to never move again. i love my home now and i will die here.

enough about moving. weigh in time...

SW: 320 lbs.

LAST WEEK: 215 lbs.

THIS WEEK: 212 lbs.

WEEK LOSS: 3 lbs.

TOTAL LOSS: 108 lbs.

so another 3 pounds. i love it. i didn't do super great this week though. eating wise, i did wonderful. but i haven't gone to the gym at all. too busy watching the euro cup and giants baseball. lame excuses, i know. i just recently got a nasty rash all over my body. i don't quite know what it is yet, but i will be heading to the doctor very soon if it doesn't go away. i am suuuuuuper itchy and it's driving me crazy. but, i'll be ok. hopefully.

see you all next week!

Well Im a day late but I bring good news. The scale moved!!!

SW 196
LW 172
TW 169!!!

I lost 3 pounds and a total loss of 27 pounds. Only 30 more pounds to go!

New here as well. This forum and the website as a whole is beyond amazing; can't believe I'm just finding it!

21, male, about 5'10" (maybe a tad taller).

Starting weight: >180 (not sure exactly what as I avoided the scale like the plague for awhile there :-P)

Current: 159

Goal: 150

Hey everyone, I'm new to CC but I'm already finding my way! There are alot of people on here that are really really helpful, I wish I'd found this site even 6months ago! Well I'm 23, with 2 kids. Here's my stats:

Start Weight: 173

Last Week: 171

This Week: 169

Goal Weight: 145

I've lost 2 pounds!!! YAY!! Laughing 24lbs to go...Even if I lose 20 and stay there I'll be happy. My goal weight might be unrealistic as well (I'm 5'6") but I'm gona try!

I was late but I weigh in on last friday

SW: 151.something

LW: 146.8 I think I made a typo last week and accidentally put 145.8

This past friday: 147.4

Frown but TTOM so I'm not freakin out yet

Once I hit 145, My focus is gonna be toning. I got this work out DVD free in a magazine yesterday "4 weeks to a bikini body" they suggest you do 20 min of cardio b4 the workout, I did 25, and the dvd is pretty intense. I'm gonna try to log my results to see how well it works. I may need to take some measurements to see if I lose inches even if my weight does go down.

We picked up a bunch of new PPL, WELCOME all.

Mustlose20, your goal is very realistic, but you may find you like your body at a different weight than you originally set for yourself. I'm 5"5 3/4 and my goal is between 145 and 140, and I've done it before.

Kirsten back under 170 CONGRATS!!!!

Medium Brett you never cease to amaze me, keep up the good work, but don't disappear on us.

I've heard of ppl zig zagging, I huess I do a little of that, I don't really count my calories on the weekends, which I may need to start back doing because I've been goin a lil overboard.
