I've had a few days of stress eating in the past week. I think I'm up 2-3 lbs. Which, again, is small in the scheme of things (if I lost 57, I can lose that little regain - it's not like I haven't had these fluctuations semi-regularly during this journey), and it's not gonna stay on very long. Still... sigh.

I havn't been streaching and my knee is telling me all about it this morning. Had a good black belt class last night and it was nice to get back into it after a long break, between me being sick and my cat's getting sick I missed 2-3 weeks! eek.

I still havn't put batteries in my scale. I'm not going to worry about it.

174.2 I worked out last night and I feel terrific!!!

179 with no stomach problems this morning!  Hooray.

 

I have an infection on top of my bronchitis.  And so...more meds!  One of my co-workers said to be careful cause I could get a yeast infection in my mouth.  Sounds really gross.

But now I'm banned from the majority of the things that I ate in a day so I have to get a new diet.  Ugh.  Luckily I still have some of that soup I made or else I couldn't touch anything at my house.

Trustwomen - I understand stress eating... I'm there.  Up to 174 this morning (until my body decided to get rid of all the water I retained and made me almost wet myself... long story).

Lilsmiter - You're making me antsy! I bet you've lost more weight than you think, b/c of the scale.

Selene - YAY for no stomach problems.  The meds should be the same. they're both bacterial infections.  Yes, eat soup.  And anything that'll make you feel better.

Hello!  Can I join in?  I've recently hit 188, seems like it took forever to get out of the 190's!  I struggle alot with this whole weight loss thing. I have chronic back and leg pain that makes alot of exercising impossible. So I guess I'm the poster child for slow weight loss! lol 

I've read the posts from the last few days and ya'all seem so nice!  Can't wait to get to know everyone!

Welcome to all the newbies!!!  I am strugglin, but I am 184.5 today.  Slowly but surely losin but it is soooooo hard!  I haven't done much exercise lately, so I guess it would help if I did.  Got to get motivated!!!!!!!

This is my worse week ever.  Bronchitis, infection, and now my uncle died and I probably can't afford to fly out there?

 

I'm not sure if I want to give into comfort food or just not eat.

Hang in there, and don't give in to the "comfort food" because it won't be there to comfort you when you're feeling bad about it later.  Hope things turn around for you and start getting better soon.

Hope everyone is doing well.. i have weighed in pretty consistently at 180 for about 3 days now.. i know you shouldnt weigh yourself all the time, but i get curious.. I really want to see myself go down below 180!

Yesterday was me and my hubby's anniversary.. 9 years officially, but we have really been together almost 15 years- we already had 2 kids together when we finally married. He works nights right now, so we didnt really do anything exciting..just went out to dinner before he had to go back to work. But we leave for our cruise in a week, so thats fine.. I am soo excited! I have so many things to get done this week to get ready to go, but ooh, I cant wait!

We are going out again tonight for Mothers Day, so i have been really careful with eating during the day so I can have a nice dinner out.  I have been tremendously lazy today too- didnt really get anything done, and I didnt exercise either..I'll have to really get with it tomorrow!

Selene, so sorry to hear about all your trouble and my sympathy on losing your uncle. Was he sick? I'll be keeping you in my prayers. Hope you feel better soon!

Wendy well done on hitting 180!! I also got to 180 last week - but enjoyed a few drinks in the sunshine over the weekend (whoops) so whether I'll stay there i don't know. Would love to get into the 170s!

I found o ut the date of the funeral, and my dad decided to pay for me to fly there.  My little brother wanted me to stay longer than a day, so now I'm there till the weekend.  Work seems fine with it, but between me missing days from being sick and now this, I feel really useless.

I did give into getting me something sweet this weekend.  I saw sugar and just brought it for once without over thinking and there's been alot of mourning.  I had no clue my uncle was sick and hadn't been back home for about 3 years and now I'll never get to see him again.  It's unbelieveable.  I guess I'm still in shock.  With all the things going on over there, I'm a bit glad I can stay longer.

But the stress is giving my white hairs!  Ryan pointed out one the other day.  Then again, I can't seem to find it anymore.  Plus my period finally came a week and a half late.  My bronchitis is gone, or at least my lungs are opening completely.  But not the infection.  My temp stays at 99.1 at all times now instead of going up and down.  Maybe the doctor didn't know what she was talking about?

My brother's a bit sad that I won't be "enjoying his snacks" aka, tons of candy he gets from the dollar store or walmart.  But at least I can get him into some healthy snacks.  Maybe.  We're all pretty good at eating foods good for you, but sometimes he becomes too picky.

Oh, and I'm back at 180.5lbs this morning but I think it's water weight because my period.  Only time will tell what it will be like when I come back home Sunday.  Maybe I'll be well enough to hit the gym again.  It's been 2/3 weeks!

 I finally hit 170.0 So I'm going to go get my hair done :) Anyone have any nearby goals that they are going to treat themselves to once they reach them? I'm trying to figure out a good one for 160..it's going to have to be really special, since I haven't seen that number on the scale since I was 15! Let me know if you have any great ideas!

Hi, sorry I've been gone awhile...

I've been hectic, not paying as much attention to ANYTHING as well as I should have.  I did eat a VERY small deficit today, at 1700 calories.  I am fine with it.  I'm going to eat as healthy as I can this week, and then check my weight on Sunday (when I actually have a scale!)

Hi everyone!  Had a very interesting day today... got to groom a fox and a skunk at work today.  Thought I'd feel like crap all day today (got my period), but it ended up being a pretty good day!  I weighed myself this morning and lost almost a pound and a half this last week, bringing me down to 158.6!  I'm very excited to be in the 150's now, it feels great.  Finding CC is definitely one of the best things that has happened to me lately.

Kirie, congrats on hitting 170! that's great! Good rewards for me include a new outfit, maybe some good lotion or something at Bath & Body Works, a massage, a little trip somewhere fun, maybe a new piece of jewelry... have fun picking something out, you deserve it!

leopardrayne, I can relate, I have been busy too, and we have been going out way too much (with our anniversary, and then Mothers day, and then last night my kids school had a fundraiser at a local restaurant.) I really have to get back on the ball!

Am in a sulk because I have definately done something not good to my knee - it really flipping hurts -even when I just walk. Have checked with my docs and excercise is def off the agenda for now :-(

I really am going to have to starve myself - four weeks til I have to wear THE DRESS.

Any tips on excercises that I can do without impacting on my knee?

newlook, so sorry about your knee! mine have been a little sore too.. the exercise dvds I have include a lot of squats and lunges, and it is really hard on my knees...  as far as exercise, you could still do leg lifts (lying down), abdominal crunches, lifting weights with your arms, doing some exercises on an exercise ball, or any swimming or exercise in the water would be excellent for low impact. Hopefully your knee will heal quickly! Ibuprofen, ice, and rest are probably the best.   Good Luck!
