Hi everyone,

So glad I found this discussion. I am 22. I am making a real commitment to losing weight the healthy way. I just found CC this week and am thrilled with the energy level I have already gotten from following the program. Brett, you are such an inspiration I can't believe the incredible weight loss you have obtained. I to have not seen 220 since I was 13-14. My highest weight was 315. Hitting that was a reality check for me. I freaked out and killed myself to lose 60lbs. last summer. Great right? Except I gained like 25-30 back because I didn't do it the healthiest way. I was so mad at myself and have been yo-yoing ever since.I love the opportunity CC gives you to lose the weight in a healthy way, and I love  the tools they give you. God if I found this years ago life could be so much easier now.

Well I see its weigh in day: 5'4 22 years old

Hey everyone!

Brand new to the site. But I already love, lost 2lbs this week. I'm 21 and ready to actually start living life. I'm so tired of being big, and it would really help to have fellow friends to talk to :)

Height: 5'2

Starting weight: 172

Current weight:169

Goal weight: 125

Long way to go, but I am working so hard and being really careful. I am so determined this time.

Quick question, anyone have a guy that they live with that has completely different eating habits than you do, how do you cope?

Thanks !

alright amayou. way to be. welcome back. i have a pretty good weigh in this week. pretty monumental.

SW: 320 lbs.

LAST WEEK: 226 lbs.

THIS WEEK: 219 lbs.

WEEK LOSS: 7 lbs.

TOTAL LOSS: 101 lbs.!!!!!!!!!

i have reached 100 pounds lost people. i feel incredible and am super happy. i was sick all week which made me lose a lot more weight than i should have, but nonetheless, i have hit 100 pounds lost. it has been an intense 6 months, but i just keep thinking about if i hadn't started this journey. i would still be 320 pounds and hating myself for it. so instead, i got off my butt and got to work. and here i am. just 34 pounds away from my ultimate goal. i cannot believe it.

i must say thanks to everyone here for helping me along the way. you have been very motivational and have helped in ways you probably don't even realize you have. so thank you. i owe my new life to you. see you all next week!

GW 125

Good job everyone and good luck for next week!!!

To all the newbies, Welcome to the site!

Congratulations SuperBrett<-- I'm calling you that from now on, lol. Thanks for posting your Pics they look great!

Suga, only 10 pounds to go, you can do it *here is a lil warning though for some reason they are tough to lose, but keep focused and the weight will come off*

22 Days scarter, I bet you are anxious. Congratulations on the upcoming wedding. Only 4 lbs to go right, I'm sure you already look amazing though and you will in your dress regardless of your weight.

My dear Kirsten, you are so close you can taste it I'm sure. You'll be under 170 this week for sure, when ever you want to eat something not included in your calories, or want to skip a work out just whisper to yourself "170"

Brett,

That is incredible, the 100lbs. mark is such a milestone, good for you. Those pictures are awesome you look 20 yrs. younger and allot happier!! Good luck with your goal, you can do it.

Ang

Its true Brett, you really do look younger and so much happier.

Thanks Amayou, its good to have you back, you always have something to say. Youre a sweetheart! To be honest I totaly fell off the wagon while we were moving more than a month ago and Im just getting back at it now. Ive decided now not to have a final goal date and just do the best I can. But Im confident and doing good so far. Work was really busy today and I really wanted to eat some deepfried greasy food but I had a  grilled chicken ceasar salad with half the dressing instead. Thanks for the tip I like that

Well now that you're settled you'll be able to get back on track. I think I was doing a lot of comfort food eating because I was down about not having a nother job lined up. So now that I'm working I should be back on routine. BTW I just moved too, millions of boxes left to unpack. Ok maybe not millions but it feels like it lol. Maybe we should start doing the quotes again. I'll look up some...

Funny quote:

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.
Fred Allen

And for the deep thinkers:

You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life.
Albert Camus

Ahahahahhahahahahah too funny.

Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.
Robert Collier

If it werent for the fact that the TV set and the refrigerator are so far apart, some of us wouldnt get any exercise at all. ~ Joey Adams

funny and sad at the same time.

So, I've fallen way off the bandwagon. I've been sticking with the eating right, but not so much the working out. (It's nice that I don't even want to go back to eating the way I did before....)I haven't been logging my food or anything, and I've been eating entirely too much salt (and food, for that matter). Anyway, back at it.

Previous weight: 167.3

Friday's weight: 165.8

Nice work Brett! You must feel like a completely new man!

Kirsten, you'll get there this week!

Hi all,

I've been on the site for almost 3 months now, but I've haven't really taken advantage of the "community" aspect so far.  I thought this would be a good group to be a part of because my quarter-century birthday is coming up soon (Aug 21), and I decided at the start of the year that, come hell or high water, I am going to be happy with my body by the time I'm 25!

I haven't been significantly overweight since I was a child, but I've always been flabby and out of shape because I HATE sports! PE was the worst class ever.  I've just never been very toned or athletic.

I currently weigh 143, and I want to lose more, but I'm more worried about toning up at this point.

Anyway, just wanted to say Hi.  I've enjoyed reading y'all's stories.  Congrats to all of your for your hard work!

Oh, and to kealimonster, my husband eats totally different from me and it makes life very difficult (e.g., I am watching what I eat, and he eats enough for 2, I don't really eat meat, he is a total carnivore...).  I don't have much advice other than cook seperate meals or just eat much, much less than him.  Or, do like I have done and move to another city for work for the summer, and then you can just focus on taking care fo yourself...Okay, maybe not a realistic option.  Good luck!

JStone Jump back on the wagon it's hump Day half way to the weekend. Even if you only do a light work out do something, you'll be glad you did once it's over. Kudos to you for still eating healthy, you haven't totally gone to the deep end hang in there.

Welcome to the group Pumpkin. Once I get back to my goal weight(140) I'm gonna try to stay motivated by focussing on getting toned more.

Last Week: 165.8

This Week: 164.6

Jstone as long as you find your way youll be fine. We're all human.

Today Im weighing in at 172. Its ttom though so Im not too dissapointed. I usually gain 3 or 4 lbs so im actually 169 ahahahahah. Well next week for sure I will be anyways. lol. Take care good luck and good job.
