| Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...
I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey. Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen.... Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide. Unicat- that is awesome ! @ 9 lbs in 1 month !! Congratulations on completing a month of staying on track ! I dragged myself to the gym though I really didnt feel like it today- and as usual I felt like it after the first 5 minutes on the treadmill. I didnt feel like running today- so walked on an incline for an hour...Whew! its done for today :D. |

I not only recovered from valentine's day, but I lost weight too!
Down 8 pounds overall and feeling really good about it! Now if I could only get over my shin splints... |

Good morning! I am having a skinny day! The pants feel a bit looser this morning and it's snowing like crazy here, but I feel skinny! Gotta love these days! |

yay carabo on hitting the gym even though you didnt feel like it :) congrats mrswuktisch on recovering from valentines day AND losing :) Dee ya definitely gotta love those skinny days :) yay :) okay so my scale didnt move at all... two days now at 150.5 .... wont complain though, as long as it doesnt go up and starts going down again lol... |

We must have all been very busy today! Hope you all stuck to your goals, I know I did! I got all my exercise in, and I still need to drink some more water, but I have done pretty good today! I am looking at the valentines candy and thinking I want some, but I know I really don't. Hope you all have a skinny day tomorrow! Dee |

i just added a pic of me taken by the pool back in august 2006, i probably weighed about 195 lbs... also added a july one at prob 200 and a november one in the 170's |

Up a pound today, but not too worried since I was wearing pants instead of shorts on the scale. Plus I ate a little more than I planned yesterday. Within limits, but not great.
Wish me luck today all. I have yet another potluck teacher lunch at work, followed by dinner with my hubby. He really likes to live it up on the weekends. I'm trying not to let him sabotage me, but sometimes he gets a little pissed that I won't eat his super fattening cooking. It's a catch 22. Oh, and did I mention I have to bake a pie for a party I'm going to on Sunday. I was specifically asked to make my sweet potato pecan pie, which is devine - but very bad for you. I'm flattered and all, but yikes. |

Ok, I'm kind of getting back on the band wagon. Although I ate crap all week, I managed to lose .2 pounds. Its better than nothing, and definitely more than I deserve. I'm back on it today! I have been feeling sluggish and bloated and disgusting this week from paying ZERO attention to what I'm eating and not exercising.
With you all as my witnesses, I WILL drink all my water today! Maybe these headaches will go away! (I'm sure they will, actually!) Unicat- don't take this the wrong way... but you look so much younger now! You are pretty inspiring! Keep it up! |

I am usually the picture taker, so there aren't too many pics of just me! I think you are looking super unicat--you have a formal coming up in the near future, don't you? I started a new 6 week training routine for my legs--and boy am I sore today! It's always good to change up your routine once in a while to work your muscles in a different way--at least I know it's working! (ouch!) But it's a good ouch! Dee |

| I stayed the same this week...but it's a good thing I swear! I am sure that it is because of muscle gain. I recently added a morning yoga class to my routine, and let me tell you... it's 10 times harder than any workout I've ever had (and I was a swimmer/runner all though high school). I've always stayed away from yoga/pilaties becuase I'm really inflexable, but I decided to make flexablity a goal too. It kicked my butt! Along with every other muscle in my body. | ||

mrswuktisch - i always weigh myself first thing in the morning after using the potty, before i put clothes on, that way the scale is most reliable without having to take into account pants or shorts, or heavy sweaters, etc.. (although i dont wear many heavy sweaters out here in hawaii lol)... and your husband will just have to understand if you take it lite on his fatty meal.. and hopefully the potluck will have some nutritional lo cal foods for you to choose from... planner - welcome back on the wagon :) and losing something is better than gaining, right? drink your water :) i take absolutely no offense to the fact that losing this weight has made me look younger...i was feeeling old.. now i am starting to feel younger :) i think the haircut helped too lol... dee - i am the picture taker too, lol.. i had to get those pics from my neighbor... lol... and yeah, we have the submariners ball in april... havent bought tickets yet though.. i wanna go, but its a real touchy timing thing (hard to explain), and i keep hoping our folks will tell us they are gonna fly out to visit us at that time, so they would be here to watch our kids.. :) and thanks for saying i look super... i see it most in my face, and possibly i think my upper arms are much thinner... good luck on the new training routine.. it is good to change up your routine :) i am doing taebo and "the biggest loser 2 workout" right now instead of taebo and ddr :)... and as of this morning i weigh exactly 150 lbs :) lost a half a lb :) i was worried it was gonna sit at 150.5 again or even gain like it did before... glad to see it go down even just a half a lb :) have a great day all :) ~Brigitte~ |

Wtg Brigitte...
So...I had my 2 month follow up with my doctor who is one who prompted me to start counting calories. I'm trying to be motivated and not bummed... I officially lost 3 lbs., now here come the excuses...it is tom today. so i figure he owes me one more pound. I admit, I haven't lost quick at all. Usually, this is when I give up. But I won't this time. I have another appt with him in 2 months. According to him, and I agree. I have been using my calories pretty unwisely. lots of carbs, fat and sugar. So I am trying trying trying to eat a little healthier, we'll see how it works. We have the big trip to Florida this week, so I'll have to try. I gave up cookies for Lent too. :) I'm not giving up...bye bye big butt! Laurie |

thanks brigitte...you are always so motivational to me and your pictures just look awesome.
i almost cancelled that doctor's appt today because I was dissapointed that I only lost 3 lbs, then I thought...hey, that's 3 lbs.! and I knew I wasn't dieting perfectly and sometimes you need someone to kick your butt a little, but encourage you. My doctor is great. It's like he won't let me give up on myself because he knows that I want it. I have to step it up to because I'll miss you when you go to the 140's!! thanks laurie! drinking my water! |

yw laurie :) and thanks :) i'm glad your doctor is sooo supportive of you, and maybe this is the kick in the butt you needed :) some doctors out there could care less, at least yours does care about trying to help you :) and awwwww.. dont worry i'm not going to the 140's just yet... and i will come back and cheer ya'll on when i do :) but that'll be a while still.... i want to be sure i am there before i go there lol.. :) gotta love that water... i am halfway through my 3rd 24 oz bottle and its only 12:49 here :) yay :) ~Brigitte~ |

wow good morning self, lol.. no one has been here since me last night, lol.. well the scale didnt move again today... so am at 150 again, but its all good... long as it moves tomorrow, haha... which i dont know about, i have a kids bday party to take the kids to at noon, and they are serving food, and i have no clue what kind.... sooooooo... besides the cake ya know lol.. hopefully i dont have a hard time today.... am planning on doing my biggest loser 2 workout this morning... and we will see how the day goes :) hope everyone has a marvelous weekend :) ~Brigitte~ |
