calling out to women 50+

Quote  |  Reply

I'd like to start this thread specifically for women who are 50 or over.

As a 53 year-old woman, myself, I am finding new challenges, unexpected difficulties and wonderful insights on my path to getting to and maintaining my health, weight and body shape.

What seemed to work for me as little as five years ago doesn't work quite the same anymore. My body doesn't seem to respond to what I consider healthy eating habits and good workout schedules as it even in my middle to late 40s'.

SO, I am would to hear from those out there who are finding themselves in situations. OR NOT, maybe you can enlighten the rest of us as to how you keep your shape, or how you're getting into better shape and a healthier overall lifestyle.

Hopefully this will be the start of something wonderful, educational, funny-offer up jokes anecdotes, whatever!

LET'S GET STARTED!

Snow: Welcome back. We are all doing well, so you need to be in on the party. You'll make that 1.5 hour walk before you know it--then you'll be running for 70 minutes like Frost!

Beth: I think your "adjusted" goal sounds very do-able. I found when I did lots of aerobics, like you, that the changes were noticeable faster than expected. I can't imagine losing 9.5 lbs. in a month, but then I can't imagine being as tall as you, either!

Bonnie: I would love to find a dog solution that didn't involve leaving my husband. ;D It's amazing that we put up with as much as we do from our pets; I'd never let my kids get away with similar behavior! You are so industrious with your window washing and spring (summer?) cleaning--want to visit Colorado and try my house? LOL

Frost: I have read Cesar's books, but I must be a slow learner. I think you are completely right about the real problem: In the past, Milo has bitten me twice, so he knows I'm scared of him, which makes me his bi**h. But, we (my kids and I) are trying to work with him (drills) a little every day, to establish a respectful and trusting relationship. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that house for you.

Ohio: I'm resigned to having Monday be my worst weight day and Friday my best, so you're not alone with the weekend eating problem. But, we are all human, no? Where are your kids living relative to you? I also bribe mine with good cooking to entice them to visit.

Alice: good hiking this weekend.

Carol: Keep that pre-wedding energy up!

phox: I'll be thinking of you as I travel by plane tomorrow, and I won't even look at the chocolate cake.

Everyone: My oldest goes tomorrow for a big job interview--they're flying him to NC to meet the company CEO. Pray for him! Meanwhile, I'm off to Torrey Pines. Have a great weekend all.

Robbie

Hello there!

To those who asked, I am in boxes, why? LOL In boxes and at one farewell party after another, as this is "moving time" for expats. Usually it's linked to school year end, and as containers take about 6 weeks to move internationally, it's perfect timing: you pack a container on one side, go on vacation, then find your container waiting on the other side just at the start of the next school year. Sounds neat but it's exhausting...

Exhausting also to say goodbye. My walking buddy had her farewell party yesterday night and it was very emotional. She never wanted to be an expat and spent over a year carping and complaining and crying to go home, only to discover right before she actually did that she had become accustomed to the lifestyle and her children with her... That's the catch, once you get used to the high intensity, it acts like a drug and the withdrawal symptoms are dreadful... Oh, well, she'll have forgotten once she has become reacquainted with the slow Swiss pace...

I have very full days. Hubby just came back from Hanoi and is on the plane again to Bangkok. I will leave on Sunday, and this morning, when my husband gave me my air tickets, I discovered they had not changed the flights as I had asked, so I spent a full hour correcting the mistakes. No way I was going to wait 7 hours at the Vancouver airport for my connecting flight after an 18 hours of flying, when there is a perfectly good flight leaving 4 hours before!!! And no way I was going to spend a night in Seattle when I could have an earlier flight that allows me to catch my connection to Wenatchee on the same day... Sigh...

I also have to show the house to prospective tenants, and today I will have lunch with Betty Tisdale who called me yesterday. She is a fascinating person and a great friend I met 2 years ago. She is also from Seattle, and if you Google her name, you'll see why I think she is so special. Even had a film made about her life... She is 85 now and still going strong and visiting her orphanages regularly.

I haven't stepped on a scale for ages, but I am not sure I would like to, because I have no time for my diet or for logging my food intake. I am just being careful, and I try to remember to drink, but my mind is not really available for these mundane tasks right now. I don't think I have increased my weight, but I would be really surprised if I had lost any. Never mind, I'll try to do better when (if) I have more time.

Robbie, I agree with frost for your dog problem: it thinks it's top dog. When that happens, they really get out of hand. A friend of mine even had her dog bite her ( it had stolen the car keys and hid under the couch with them to prevent her from leaving, and bit her when she reached for the bunch...). A dog should never enter a room ahead of you without your allowing it to do so, should never eat before you, unless it's much before your own meal, and should never walk ahead of you when on the leash. You can relent once they know who is boss.

The problem is, you have to implement those rules from the start, because it's very hard to correct things once the dog has established its own pecking order. I don't even think that a dog trainer is useful, because it's between you and your dog. You mentioned he was behaving with the  trainers, because they send the right message... Here are some suggestions for you.

When your dog does something you don't like, act. Don't talk. Show it very clearly this is unacceptable behaviour that won't be tolerated. You don't have to beat it up, just be firm and VERY angry, and do something that CLEARLY shows you are angry (body language: square your shoulders, loom over it, speak in a slow stern voice, show the white of your eyes, curl your lips over your teeth). Exclusion is a very good tool, as they are gregarious and hate to be away from the pack. It doesn't have to be long either, because they have the attention span of a gnat, and it should be done immediately, because they can't relate to things past. Consistency is important too.

I growled at my dogs when they were puppies. They understood the message very well, because that's what their mother would have done. Now they are 14 but they still hide behind my legs when there is thunder, because I am their mommy, the alpha female of the pack, and so their ultimate protection. If your dog is too old, it will be difficult (not impossible, it just takes more time). Plus it's a shi-tsu... LOL

Back to my boxes... I threw away so much stuff I should melt this summer... LOL Wish I had more time though... Ah well, since I won't be around, I'll find everything in the new house when I come back, as if by magic, and I'll still have a chance to throw away things when I open those boxes...

Have a great day everyone!

Helene, in Saigon, who will try to say good bye before Sunday

Welcome back Snow!!!! Go for it all. I have eaten terribly lately but I am the same weight! I know its the amount of aerobic activity that saves me. I am better at working out for 65 to 75 minutes a day at a moderate aerobic level than I am at watching all my calories. Still if I could do both I am sure I would be at my target weight already.

Currently I am at 136 pounds. I want to be 125. That may be a little lean for me. But personally I like living on the skinny side. For now, I need to start counting those dumb calories again and continue running. Time to see exactly how bad do I want those pounds off! I was 145 when I started on this thread with you ladies....so I am NOT complaining. Strong and lean. We will all get there.

I'm thinking Milo has the upper hand there Robbie. It's all attitude with dogs. Does he get enough exercise?

Don't know anything about my little real estate dream yet. I will keep you posted.

thanks!  i sure did miss you guys.  i did get my 1.5 hour walk in yesterday & i got my A for eating good.  i can't run though.  well, just for a few minutes.  i get shin splints & i worry about getting hurt anyway.  i don't want to take the chance.  :D

all this dog talk & you guys have me wishing i had a dog now.  lol

Hello everyone,

Bonton: Did you get your windows done? I actually owned a window cleaning business once. I started it when my kids were little because I could make money and be flexible for them. Then my husband took over the business while I studied to become a midwife. I don't miss doing windows. Wink

Robbie: I will pray for your son that his interview goes well for him. Where/What is "Torrey Pines"?

Helene: We were once expats ourselves. I remember packing those crates. The last time we did that was when we left Papua New Guinea. We had planned to go back a year later. So we packed everything, including a refrigerator and had it all shipped to the town where we planned to move back to when we returned after furlough.  We came back to the states and then due to family needs and finances we never got to go back. Some friends opened our crate for us and picked out a few precious belongings and sent them to us in the States but other than that most things we just left because it wasn't worth shipping to the States. It was really strange starting over from scratch like that. Anyway, I hope your move goes smoothly. Enjoy the break after you get all packed.

Frost: It great that you are so close to your goal. I'm sure you can do it. I think it's great that you want to be "strong and lean."  That's my goal, too. When I was younger, I was strong and lean and my weight always fell on the light side of the standard recommendation charts. But I know what works for me and I do have a small frame even though I'm six foot tall. So that's my goal now. You are so close to yours, I encourage you to just go for it. You'll be so glad you did.

Snow: I can't run either. But I have read up on walking and learned that I can walk pretty fast. Keep your arms bent as if you were running and then pump them while you walk. This will increase your speed and how many calories you burn without actually running. Do it that way for a couple of days and then you can add carrying 1 lb weights. You will really feel the difference. I do. Good luck to you. I'm so glad you are back.

Well, I got up early this morning to beat the heat for my walk. The sunrise was beautiful over the bay. My husband is now excited about walking with me every evening too. We went last night and the moon was rising over the bay. It was full, huge and orange. People were stopping and just watching because it was so pretty. We kept walking but enjoyed the view while we did. Larry isn't counting calories like me but he is eating what I feed him. So he is eating much better. He also never touches sugar because he is a diabetic and controls it with diet alone. So, maybe both of us will slim down this summer.

Ya'll have a great weekend.

~ Beth

Beth -  I did get my windows done! - well the 2 garage windows  LOL all the rest need done too ! LOL He went up for his nap at 1:20 and was asleep by 1:30 LOL he was exhausted. It's so quiet after he leavesUndecided I love having him here - he helped me bake choc chip cookies and of course he had to lick the beaters! LOL He kept saying Yummy!! LOL it was so cute. They are camping this week and he is having a great time! I can tell you're not a golfer LOL cause you don't know about Torrey Pines.  http://www.torreypinesgolfcourse.com/ you can see how beautiful it is! Congrats on your great loss so far! Keep up the good work - at that rate you'll be svelte before you know it!

snow- So glad you're back! Healthy is what it is all about - i think your family will adjust to your new weight given time and then they will see that it is a healthier you! I can't run either but walking - especially at golf - seems to be working. This morning I hit a new low 122.4!!Laughing

robbie  Take pictures at Torrey Pines and please post!! I will say a prayer for your son that the interview goes well! It is so nerve racking until they get the job they want!  When my daughter got hired by Verizon we had 1 week to find her a place to live! LOL when I left with her I told my hubby we wouldn't be home till we found a place but we lucked out and found a place the second day. She lived there 2 years then got a job at Sheetz and she's much happier there. She didn't like city life and now she is 8 miles away form her twin sister. I'm no help in the dog department as I had terrible luck! LOL I must not have been the alpha female LOL I make a list a mile long of things I need to do in the summer... LOL I might get about half done if I'm lucky cause the golf course seems to win out!Cool

Helene -sounds like you're really busy! You might be surprised by the scale like I was! I haven't been as good with my eating plan lately but I'm losing weight .. must be the increased exercise of golf and cleaning house! Have a wonderful trip!

frost  You're getting close and doing great! 9 pounds is great!!! I don't know how tall you are but for me 5 pounds makes my clothes feel a lot better! Keep us posted about the house! I haven't been eating that great either lately! LOL it's a summer thing - too busy to plan out meals. If only I could have the structure of winter eating with the increased exercise of summer - I'd have it made!! LOL Can't seem to do both at the same time. But I am losing so I'm not complaining!

Carol  Have a wonderful wedding and have fun!!!

Yesterday I had to go buy a new washer - mine was leaking oil on the floor - so they delivered it last night which led to cleaning the basement so they could get down there (maybe that's why my weight is down this am as I threw a bunch of things away! LOL and we didn't finish until 9pm!) - they hooked it up and tried it out...water leaked all over the floor Yell so now they are sending the repair guy Friday for my brand new washer GRRR and I have no washer at the moment!

Everyone  - hope you're all having fun in the summer!! I'm off to mow the grass and then clean the inside of my car!

i know what you mean, southern.  i do that arm thing.  i've used the weights a few times, but they're 3 lbs and they get pretty heavy.  i thought they'd be too light.  lol

maybe i'll use my weights later.  they're just sitting around getting dusty right now.  i walked almost 5 miles so far today.  i'm planning on squeezing an extra mile in.  i ate kind of a lot today, but with all this walking i don't think it even matters & i got my A.

bonton, congrats on your new low!  :D  that's awesome!

oh no!  no washer?!  that would suck...

With weight loss I have gotten far more concerned about my appearance than before.  I don't believe what I am doing for this wedding.  Tomorrow two of the bridesmaids (my stepdaughters) and I are going to have a pedicure and manicure.  About the 4th one I have had in my life.  Also, since my daughter started giving me a hard time about how my "farmer's tan" would look in my sleeveless dress, I went to a tanning salon for the first time in my life.  They told me that there wasn't enough time for me to get an even tan, but they could dye me!  So I might do that tomorrow too...  A little unsure about that one.

Carol - Good for you! A manicure and pedicure would be wonderful - my daughters got me a pedicure for Mother's Day a few years ago - it was wonderful and my stepdaughter got me one for this Mother's Day  - I have to make an appt yet!  I always wear a sleeveless top golfing so I don't have marks on my arms and when i mow I wear my bathing suit top if it's warm enough! LOL to even up my tan...just can't help those white feet of mine though - they're either covered by golf shoes or sneakers for mowing and yard work! I tried the tanning cream but my skin is just the wrong shade for that cream! Let me know if you get dyed! LOL

snow -  I worked in my yard mowing, weeding, planting for 7 1/2 hours! I started at 10 and quit at 5:30pm - spent 1 hour at the greenhouse buying more flowers -  so your family should think nothing of an hour or two walk! LOL

Good morning everyone - Good article on prevention online this morning on fighting the fat after 40 - probably nothing we didn't know but here it is anyways!

http://www.prevention.com/cda/article/weight- loss-program-tips/e9e03a2877df9110VgnVCM20000 012281eac____/fitness/cardio?cm_mmc=Spotlight -_-6202008-_-Fitness-_-Live%20the%20Fat-Burni ng%20Life

Today I will clean my car as I didn't get that done yesterday! Then we have couples golf league tonight...I sure hope I play better than I did Wednesday LOL. I bought Celosia to plant at a memorial we have at the golf course - one of our friends died  during the club championship (about 4 years ago) despite my efforts with CPR.

My newly planted flowers will all need a drink today too. That should keep me busy !! Oh yes and they are supposed to come and see what is wrong with my brand new washing machine!

Good Morning Ladies!

I just weighed in and I'm proud to say all my hard work and discipline is paying off.

SW 204 (May 24,2008)

CW 194 (June 20, 2008) Lost my first 10 lbs in just under a month! Laughing

GW 150 (Sometime next spring or summer)

Snow: The 3 lb weights are too heavy. I read somewhere that you should use only 1 to 2 lb weights. I thought the 1 lb weights wouldn't do anything because they are SO light. But they do. I can really feel the difference when I carry them. I just finished my early morning walk and watched another awesome sunrise over the bay. Another walker pointed out dolphins playing in the bay to me. That was really cool!

clharr: I relate to your post. I got my first manicure (along with solar nails) a couple of weeks ago. I've always been a nail biter and just felt like doing it. They look great, too.  But it has taken some getting used to them. I also got my ears pierced again. They had grown shut years ago. As for tanning, I'm trying hard NOT to tan - using sun screen a lot. But I just tan so easily. So, I'm already pretty tan. I just don't want to start looking leathery in my old age.

Bonton: You are right that I've never golfed. Someone once told me that I had a good body build for golfing (I'm 6') but all I've ever tried is miniature golf once or twice. That golf course sure looks lovely though. But my goodness, I can't believe you worked in your yard for 7 1/2 hours straight! It is SO hot here in South Texas and the heat index makes it even hotter (100's). I don't think I could ever do that this time of year! I hope you are being careful about the heat if it's hot where you are.

Well, ya'll have a blessed weekend! Wink

Beth - Congrats on the 10 pound loss!!! Way to go!!!!

Well I did spend about an hour or so browsing at the greenhouse and a little time talking to my neighbor LOL but I was exhausted when I quit! Taking it easier today - I think I wore myself out yesterday LOL . It was actaully quite chilly here yesterday - I think the high of the day was in the 60's. Last night at 9pm it was 57!! BBRRRRR

Believe me I am cautious about the heat because 2 years ago I got dehydrated by overdoing it in the heat - I thought I was drinking enough and felt fine when I went to bed but when I got up the next morning I couldn't stand up because I was so dizzy - ended up in the ER for 1/2 day SO NOT FUN! It was the day of my golf member guest which I missed so i am really careful now.

OK actaully got on here to order shorts for my hubby ...have a great day!

clharr, that sounds pretty exciting.  i've never had a pedicure, manicure, gone to a tanning salon, or been dyed.  LOL  i'm too scared, i guess.

bonton, that's alot of work!  :D  you'll probably hit a new low again today.

southern, i know!  lol  i thought they would be too little, but i really feel the difference when i use them 3 lb weights.  they wear me out!  they actually are wrist weights though.  who would think that a pound or 2 would be enough?  but it is!  congrats on that 10 lb loss!!!

Snow: The 3 lb weights are too heavy. I read somewhere that you should use only 1 to 2 lb weights. I thought the 1 lb weights wouldn't do anything because they are SO light. But they do. Are you walking with these weights?  Are they the ones you strap around your wrists, or the small 'dumbells'?  HOW do you feel the difference?  Are you walking or jogging/running?  Are you doing any upper body movements while your doing this cardio?  Do you think you use up more calories? If so how would you measure this?

I know, I know, lots of questions.    Answer PALEESZE!

AND, OF COURSE CONGRATS ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS!  MAGNIFICENT.   Like I've said here before I am stuck at a weight for over two months now.    I'm truly  happy and proud for you!

I'm using 1 lb dumb bells. They are really small. I walk but I hold my arms bent up like you would if you ran. Then I "pump" my arms faster to make myself walk faster. (I'm still only going about 3 mph but up and down inclines. So that's actually pretty fast for me.) Occasionally, I do other things with the weights while walking, like lift one arm at a time above my head and pump it up and down. Or stretch both arms out to the side and work them in and outward. It looks funny but no one is looking anyway. Wink

I'm sure I'm burning more calories but I don't know how to measure it. I feel it in my upper arms and shoulders mostly. I got the idea from a book I picked up and looked at while my husband and I were at our favorite coffee shop a few weeks back. (The coffee shop is inside a Half Price Bookstore). The book had a whole program for working out with weights while walking. I don't remember the name of it but we're going there again tonight and I can look to see it is still there. If I find it, I'll post the title tomorrow.

one, yeah, i know.  i'll have to go get some 1 or 2 lb weights though.  that's the lowest i have right now.  :(  that's why i've only used them a few times.  LOL

they wear me out!  they are the ones that you strap around your wrists & i just feel like it's a big workout instead of a walk.    i'm not sore after or anything, but i can't last very long walking with them either.  and i don't jog with them, i just walk, but i do the fake running thing with my arms (with a few variations  :D).  i KNOW that i'm burning WAY more calories doing that, but i don't have a clue how many.

you are still stuck?!  that sucks...  you gotta make some changes in your eating & exercising.  that should work.  :D

southern, with that incline, you're doing awesome!  i'd go slower with an incline, for sure.  lol  i love how you do some silly arm movements too!  if i'm walking outside, i'll stop doing that when someone drives by.

i'm really, really, really hoping to be back to 141 tomorrow, but i don't know!  i got my A today & i walked the 6 miles.  so far, this is working great though.  i can't wait til morning to see!!!  139, here i come!!!  :D

i just hope i can walk 6 miles tomorrow & sunday without getting in trouble.  :(  maybe they won't notice how long i'm walking or maybe i can do some outside.

i wish i could see dolphins playing when i walk.  that'd be awesome.

Hi ladies! May I please join your group? I've paid my dues, so to speak, read ALL the posts from beginning to end. Actually I have to admit it was like delving into a fascinating new novel. You are all so incredibly great, diverse and interesting. I just felt an immediate kinship to you. If you could stand to let another nurse in the door I'd be very honored.

I am 54, live in Western Canada. I never weighed less that about 140 lbs in my adult life but at 5'7" I looked pretty OK there, if I do say so myself! Then one day I found myself at 240 lbs after what I call the mid-life menopausal weight crisis that seemed to descend upon me from points unknown (the horrid gods) in a relatively short span of time, like 40 lbs in under a year! I have several friends who are in our age bracket and pretty well all of them are complaining about the same mysterious syndrome!

I was horrified, could barely look at myself in the mirror, and decided that a smart gal like me shouldn't be a slave to unwanted weight and stress. It's not healthy and it sure was making me feel crummy each and every day. And, I had developed bags under my eyes, palpitations, my face was pudgy, I hardly recognized who I had become. I had developed this bulging midriff, and had too much junk in the trunk, and not in a J-Lo good way at all.

I've lost 20 lbs since mid-March and although I should be ecstatic about that I'm actually a bit disappointed that it is coming off so slowly. I used to be able to drop 4 to 7 lbs in a week. Now I can barely eek out one. I had no idea it would be this hard. BUT I am determined to see it through. And with your help I will! I want to make my first mini-impact at a corporate meeting I have to attend in early October. So far nobody seems to have noticed that I have lost some weight, but I don't see the corporate bunch very often so I am hoping somebody will say something nice, that I look good, and then I will feel better. I hope to be off the weight loss trail by next summer. And then I want to stay off for good. I know everybody says that but I think we women at our age are asking for big trouble if we don't mean it. We have to walk the talk.

I say I am a nurse but I don't work as one any more. I used to work critical care and neonatal but now I work within the health care community teaching about medical product use. I have 2 grown children, a son and a daughter, who are leaving the nest in fits and starts. Perhaps some of you can relate? They leave they come back they leave they come back... I am still waiting to live completely on my own for the very first time in my life and I have been looking forward to it greatly. I have been a single mom for the past 24 years, since my kids were 2 1/2 and 5. They are incredible people who care greatly for me and I am very fortunate to have them in my life.

I have a great dog chum, a Bichon-Shi-Tsu named Harry (who kisses and never bites!) and I play a bit of golf, gave up winter snow sports when the bones started to creak in the cold a bit too much, enjoy cooking and shopping and traveling when I can. I was born and raised in the UK, Scotland, and speak a bit of French. All my family is scattered to the 4 winds around the globe. It has always been a bit of a fractured family that I've had. I'm sure an armchair psychologist could have a field day with that. One of my sisters was accidentally killed recently. My dad passed away a couple of years ago. My mom is almost 80 and is struggling to cope, but not through ill health, through regret I think. I think many of us here are dealing with issues surrounding our adult children, and our aging parents. And of course, battling the bulge first and foremost.

May I just say a fond farewell to Schaufel before you flit off on your next adventure, this weekend, and godspeed to you as well. I've enjoyed very much your stories from Vietnam and look forward to your return. Judge Robbie, you crack me up.

Best to all of you. I look forward to joining if you'll have me.

Rebbex, let me be the first to say WELCOME!!!!

And I must commend you, too for actually reading through ALL the posts. I'm impressed! I read a lot of them before I joined in but I never got through all of them. Your dedication put me to shame.

I couldn't help but smile when you described your children moving in and out. My husband and I call children like that "boomerang kids". "You throw them out and they just come right back" Wink. We had one boomerang kid ourselves. Our oldest daughter married poorly the first time and after two years of trying to make it work, she came back home. She lived with us the second time about a year or so more before finishing college and moving out again.

We have three children, their ages now are 34, 32, and 30. They're all married now and gave us a total of 12 grandchildren. And it IS wonderful having them all out of the nest. It's wonderful when they visit, but it's really nice that they are on their own. Your time will come, too!

~ Beth (I'm not a nurse but I am a midwife - a CPM)

Beth, your progress is outstanding!! Congrats!

Rebbex, welcome to the group. I am also losing very slowly, but I keep upping my exercise and trying hard to decrease the food.

Before I forget, here are links to last week's hike photos. Two friends took pictures, so I'll link you to both sets:

It really was an incredible dropoff when we were crossing the little narrow crack before the summit, but I felt very steady and not nervous. It was exhilirating!! We started at 9200 feet and went up to 12,995. I was breathing heavy to get enough oxygen but didn't have any symptoms of altitude sickness, thank goodness.

Monday we are hiking Half Dome in Yosemite, so I should have some good photos from that one. Meanwhile I am trying to eat light, although my food choices are not always the best.

Alice

Hey Alice, I tried to click on your links and they didn't work. So I copied and pasted the url and they still didn't work. Is it just me? I sure would love to see your pictures.

You put this sea level gal to shame. I still remember a trip to Colorado Springs when I was a teen and in "good" shape. We took a train ride to the top of this mountain above the tree line and when we got to the top, I decided to run from the train to the gift shop which couldn't have been but a few hundred feet. I wasn't aware of how high altitudes made the air so thin. So I just took off running. Suddenly, I couldn't breath and almost keeled over. LOL.

Now, I'm proud if I get up my little "hill" at the park without my muscles burning or breathing too hard. Embarassed

You, my friend, are amazing!

Have a great weekend and please check those links for us. But just in case it was my computer this morning, I'll try again later.

PS I also took pics this morning while walking. Now, I have to figure out how to get them out of my cell phone. Smile
