From low 200's trying to get to the mid 100's (145-155) anyone wanna do it with me (FEMALE)

This group is my effort to get support from everyone and get everyone that needs suppoort to help each other. So everyone thats in this boat thats around the 200s and is aiming to get down to the mid 100s (135-155) or less. Monday morning will be the group's official weigh in so that we can talk about progress and give support if people are having problems and not losing as much as they would like.

It's been awhile since I've posted or updated my progress. 

My start weight on April 28 was 234

Current Weight:  218

Goal Weight: 153

Down 16 pounds in 6 weeks.

Lot's of sweat -- Couch to 5K program (I'm in the run/walk group), race is set for July 19.

Personal trainer 2x weekly, 1/2 hour session with NO stopping, each exercise to failure.

Zumba ...occasionally

This sounds like the thread for me.  I'm 216 lbs, just started CC this week, and I'm looking to get down to 150 by June of next year.

I am back on track now and just over half way to my target. I have been slacking on the excercise though, still walking 3-4 times per week but i need to do some toning excercises. I got bored with the excercise dvd

Wow, di_p, 16 pounds in 6 weeks, impresive, sounds like a great program.  I'm thinking of rewarding myself with a personal trainer, if I can maintain and not gain over my holidays.  I'm off July 12th to August 11th, travelling across Canada with my family to a reunion over the August long week-end.  I'd like to get down another 10 to 20 lbs by holiday time, not gain while I'm away and then start training when I get back.

Sounds like a good goal vitamin_dominatrix (love the name!). We've got similar goals.  I started at 214, down to 204 right now (sigh, no loss this week), hoping to get to 140-150.

Awesome progress Amanda, I know what you mean the dvd's do get monotonous.  I've recently started Turbojam and it's fun.  Works up a great sweat.

i have just been trying hard to log in my calories...i really dont log on the weekend even though i should! but i work out at least 6-7 times a week burning at least 600 calories each work out i started in the beginning of may i loose about 1 pound a week...i want to loose at least 2 lbs a week! does anyone know how i can do this if i eat 1500-1600 calories a day?

i guess i am the only one keeping this alive but  that is ok! lol

Hi everyone!  I'd love to join this support group.  I'm 27 and have gained back all the weight I lost 2 years ago for my wedding (went from 190 to 150 using South Beach).  The problem with SB was that as soon as I went back to eating normal food all the weight came back!  So disappointing.  I've been sulking about it and beating myself up for awhile now.  Time to just buck up and realize that I need to find something that will work LONG-TERM.  From what I've been reading it sounds like CC is the way to go!  So, here I am.

In a rough patch, but will work through it...weight up about 4 lbs...hoping TOM related, but not sure, I haven't been eating clean.  Not really horrible, more maintaining...going on vacation soon so will maintain this month and start fresh in July...life happens right.  I will NOT give up!

I am struggling again. Up 1lb this week. The last few days i have been eating loads of chocolate. I dont usually have it in the house except for some very small bars (kids lunch box size) for occasional treats. but this weekend my husbands daughter bought him a giant (400g) bar for Fathers day and my parents were visiting and got us a box of chocs. i am working from home and i have just been picking at them and now they are gone!!! Today, my totm arrived, so i guess i was just craving it. Hope to get back on track soon but now i am am really craving some cake. i have not excercised this week either, i am not feeling motivated......

I would love to join this group. I need all the support I can get and look forward to supporting others!I started on CC at 211 and I WAS as low as 188, but started to gain back at X-Mas and have spiraled back up to 202, but I am now down to 198. I want to get back on track and get down to the mid 100's. My CC goal weight is 148, and that will put me in the single digit clothing size, so that's perfect for me.

Hello, everyone! Wow, I have not written anything on here in months! I think my last post was April 7th. To make a long story short, I started February 1st at 223.6, and got down to 197.0 in mid-April, but hit a plateau that kept me bouncing from 197 to 198 back to 197 to 199 to 197, etc., etc. I was getting really discouraged, but I decided to incorporate weight training into my workout in hopes of breaking the cycle. Although it did not work, I believe I am to blame for the lack of success since I was not controlling my eating as much.

To bring you up to date, I must say that beyond losing the weight, the greatest success I have is knowing what I have to do to lose weight. My husband and I went to Hawaii last week. I did not do any exercising and pretty much ate what I wanted. I did not gourge myself, though, as I used to, and made better choices on some days. I gained 5.6 pounds from my previous week weigh in (198) to 203.6. Since weighing in this past Monday, only 4 days ago, I am down to 199.8, a loss of 3.8 pounds.

I have not worked out at all, just easing back into my healthy lifestyle through my eating. I will kick start it on Monday and am really excited to hit my next milestone goal. 6.2 pounds to go!

My personal trainer session went well, we worked all upper body...I am going to hurt tomorrow!  My couch-to-5k program however is on hold, I'm going to join the walkers on saturdays training session and hopefully be back with the run/walkers on Tuesday.
