From low 200's trying to get to the mid 100's (145-155) anyone wanna do it with me (FEMALE)

This group is my effort to get support from everyone and get everyone that needs suppoort to help each other. So everyone thats in this boat thats around the 200s and is aiming to get down to the mid 100s (135-155) or less. Monday morning will be the group's official weigh in so that we can talk about progress and give support if people are having problems and not losing as much as they would like.

Hi, kae.  Good to see you still on here and sticking with the healthy lifestyle.

I've been so darn busy playing outside in the yard and garden, I rarely find time to get on lin.

I'm right behind you with the weight loss.  From 400 to the 190s now.  I'm hoping to hit the 180s at my next weigh-in.  If I keep up the hard work in the yard, I'll have no problem making this next goal.  I LOVE SPRING AND SUMMER!

This year is even more exciting because I can actually fit into cute summer clothes for once.  Unfortunately though, I have far too much nasty hanging skin from all the weight loss.  Oh well.....  A little nip and tuck once I reach my goal weight and I'll feel a little better about it.

Hi, I went to a conference combined with a weekend break and I fell off the diet wagon. I ate badly (fried brakfasts, pizza, chocolates, etc) and drank quite a lot of wine. Since getting back i have been struggling to get back on track and i feel hungry all the time. Also the excercising stopped. I have gained 3lb. I want to get back on track and yesterday was my first "good" day in 2 weeks, and went for a 2 mile fast walk. So i hope to lose those extra pounds soon.

this is a busy time of year...if we weren't in a slow season at work...well, anyway...

This time of year seems a bit easier for me to loose...easy to be more active and when it is really hot, I just don't want to eat as much. 

As strange as it sounds, as I approach the 20 lb loss, instead of being encouraged, I am getting discouraged that I lost that much and have SUCH a long way to go still...I still have almost 50 lbs to loose.  I need to do what I just did almost 3 times!  I am afraid that I won't have what it takes to make it and gain it all back AGAIN...this is where I lost it last time.  Maybe that's it...

I really want to loose it...I am about to turn 38 and want to have it GONE before I hit my 40's...I want to be young and feel young while I AM young...

I will stop babbling now...

kae, hang in there, you have done really well in the last 3 months. I know what you mean though, i am less than half way and this site says i will reach my target just after christmas. Some weeks we struggle with motivation some weeks are ok, but we WILL get there eventually.

Moday weigh in, i have lost the 3lb i put on in my 2 weeks of weakness. back to 184 lb

That means a loss of 0.8 lb, had a bad couple of weeks with me finishing my exams and then going out celebrating, this caused me to gain a pound last week, i'm glad that it has now started to come off again.

Im new to the site and looking for a little guidance.  Im 200lbs and trying to get to loose about 60lbs.  Im wondering about the calorie deficit Ive read about in your posts...how do you calculate that?  Sorry Im really new to calroie counting and trying to get it right.  Any help would be appreciated!

 

...to add onto that question, does the burner meter - activity burner (or whatever its called) = deficit?

Had a bad week last week.  Was laid up with a muscle spasm in my back - due to recent increased exercise activity, I think - I guess my Turbojam form needs work!

I'm still at 209, so not down, but since I laid on my back for 6 days (so didn't do any exercise) and ate whatever my husband decided to cook (gratefully), I am happy that I didn't gain.

Hopefully will have a better week this week.  I went to acupuncture for the first time on Sat and again on Mon and it really helped.  I'm back on track (no exercise yet - just stretching), but back to counting.

I am up to 187 after this weekend...I am thinking most of it is water from the  salt, but I didn't count calories so who knows...it will leave again.  Life will happen and that has to be OK or I won't stay with this...going to a birthday lunch today so I will really get back on track tomorrow. 

Down to 204 lbs as of 2-Jun-08....going to do Turbojam Cardio Party now.....til next time.....

I am at a stall...I gained 5 lbs literally overnight...and they aren't leaving yet.  Every few months I tend to get bloated about a week before TOM, so it better leave when it comes and goes...I am not happy.  It does effect your mind, staying on track when you see NO, results or even a gain.  I was hoping to be further along before I got frustrated, but here I am...trying to do what I need to, but losing my will to keep going...AHHHHHHH

I need all the support I can get. I started at 240 went to 211 and now I'm back up to 218 I have the hardest time getting the weight off I think  I was eating to many calories I have been working out 5 days a week. so I'm dropping my calories to 1350 or less per this site hoping I can get this weight off.

Wow, good for you ka2007, that's phenominal!  I am 205 and want to be 140 also (was 204 yesterday, sigh).

kae03, I totally agree, it is so demotivating to see the scale go up around TTOTM.  I skip it too....for about a week and a half....

dbaird99, I am also trying to work out five times per week.  So far, I get to three and then am too tired.  I think I need to up the calories so that I have the energy to exercise.  I started at 236, went down to 191, then back up to 214 and am now down to 205.  Sigh, I can't believe it sometimes that I went back up because I was starting to feel good at 191.  But I'm trying to be positive this time and not put too much pressure on myself.

191 woo hoo! I can't weight to get under 200 we can do this.

I want to be 140 as well. it just seems so far away. how many calories are you consuming each day? I thought 1350 was to much. but after i add them up at the end of the day. it's like geez how can that little of food be so many calories.

i started a boot camp on Wedensday so tonight will be my second time. 90 mintues of weights and sweat PLEASE HELP!!! if this doesn't work I'm at a loss

I'm trying to keep my calories under 1500.  I ate about 1400 yesterday, but am normally around 1300.  I am sort of following the slim in 6 express diet plan, but trying not to be too rigid.  If I exercise, I allow myself some extra calories.

I am doing the slim in 6 abs workout (10 min, but a killer) in the a.m. and Turbojam Cardio Party (45 min) in the evening.

I have tried so many things and I'm feeling the same, this HAS to work this time or I don't know what I'll do!

As long as I keep logging and try to exercise everyday, I think it will work this time.  I just feel like I'm in a different frame of mind that will make it work!

Hang in there.  I read that you have to do something three times consecutively to make it a habit!
