I thought this would be a great topic so we can all compare our brown bag lunches and see if we are all on the right track!

Remember~ If you have a nice lunch box you are more likely to be happy that you are on a diet because the first thing we see is the lunch bag not the food.. Our minds work on Eye appeal! enjoy your lunch!

In my blue bag:

I work 7:30am-5:30 pm by the way

Breakfast- 3/4 cup of Eating Right Granola with raisens. Knock off of Kashi but cheaper!

Snack- Red Del. Apple.

Lunch- Perdue Perfect Portions Chicken over romaine and spinach.

Snack- 100 calorie pop corn!

I always bring an extra snack in case I drag.

Soglialoro... here's the breakdown on your tuna sandwich:

6" honey oat bread (great choice, high in fiber, but if you got the wheat you could save 50 cals): 250 calories

Tuna: 260 (lotsa mayo in this, but delicious, I know!)

lettuce and spinach: negligable, maybe 10 calories even if you got a ton...

So the total would be something like 520 for the sandwich, assuming you get no dressing or cheese.  As a tip, vinegar is calorie free and adds a lot to a tuna sub.  Oregano and salt and pepper taste great too!

 THANKS!

I have a really ugly lunch box but I'm going to reward myself with a brand new one when school starts again in the fall.  I work from 7:00 to 3:00

Today I ate:

Breakfast (every day): Special K and 8 oz of light soy milk.
Snack: Yoplait light yogurt
Lunch:  leftover cooked mini carrots, lettuce, 2 oz chicken, Ken's light raspberry walnut dressing 2T.
Snack:  Quaker granola bar

Yum!

In my... quaint? blue cooler, I had half a home-made tomato basil calzone, an orange, a couple strawberries, and a Nutz Over Chocolate Luna Bar for desert.  Yumm. :]

Usually I pack an enormous amount of food for my work day.   I leave my house at 6:45 and don't get home until 6:30pm so I guess I need all the food but people  joke about the insane amount I bring. (It helps prevent vending machine/breakroom snack trips which are filled with pastries and junk)

B: Thomas 100cal bagel w/ ff cream cheese, 1 cup of mixed berries

S: Chocolite bar

L: Salad w/ imatation crab, shrimp, lettuce, mushrooms and pickles w/ FF balsamic dressing.

S: dannon carb control yogurt and some special K cereal

S: Special K 90 cal bar and 100 cal pack of veggie chips

i need a new lunch box! until recently i've been carrying my Alf lunch box from kindergarten, but it's on its last legs.

work 8:00-4:30

breakfast- caramel peanut slimfast optima bar

snack- peanuts

lunch- strawberry cheescake optima bar

snack- 1/2 the fat cheese strip and 3oz tuna in water with a little whole fat mayo (about half a serving, not the healthiest, but i LOVE it with tuna)

for dinner (since i've already eaten it) i had a big bowl of zoe o's (flax & omega filled organic cheerios type that big lots carries) and unsweeted soy milk.

another snack was a green apple.

oh, and i'm totally NOT "on slimfast" but i work at a mental hospital, so there isn't a lot of down time to sit and eat a knife and fork kind of meal :) also, i'm a bit enemic, so i tend to eat alot of protein. besides, its the only thing that fills me up!

In my lunch today:

2 TBS of peanut butter (I'm totally addicted!!)

an apple

a few strawberries

1/4 cup soy beans

sandwich: wheat bread, low sodium turkey, romaine lettuce.

one cup of cheerios

dannon light n fit yogurt

Laughing

I have a "cooler" black lunch bag (absconded from the Zone Delivery Diet years ago) and it keeps everything cool during the day.

Breakfast: 5-Egg White Omelette with Mushrooms (Everyday)

Snack: Green Peas and a can of Tuna

Lunch: Some Protein left over from dinner the night before (Chicken, Fish or Meat) Mixed Vegetables

Snack: Either a Premier Protein Shake and Veggies or 4oz Turkey and Veggies

Dinner: Chicken, Fish or Beef and Veggies - Soybeans or Asaparagus I also slice Roma tomatoes and sprinkle with Olive Oil, Balasmic and Italian Seasoning.

I try to eat later in the evening so I do not have much room to think about food that is going to get me into trouble. My weakness is Golden Spoon frozen yogurt with Rainbow Sprinkles. I could eat it every night.

This is my "Clean" program and expedites fat burning and weight loss and I try to keep it up seven days. If I am maintaining, I throw oatmeal and brown rice into the daily mix (eat freely on Sat and Sun) Lots of water!

I know, kind of boring and static, but there is something to be said about knowing my daily menu - wards off deviation.

I have a 4000 sq mt lunch box!!! I live in Italy and we grow and sell baby leaf salad products and vegetables to the UK and the rest of Europe. I pretty much walk downstairs and grab what ever looks good and make a nice fresh salad.

Most of the food mentioned sounds so (Ugh!!) Healthy! My day starts at 3:30am and I get home around 4pm.

Breakfast at home which is usually 2 cups of coffee and 2 cereal bars for a total of 205cal

7am: Small apple (55cal)

9:30-10am: fat free yogurt (100cal)

12am: a serving of ranch rice cakes (70cal)

1pm: 1/2 pita w/ .5 ounce sara lee buffalo chicken  and a little lettuce and tomato (115cal) and 1 whole can of chicken noodle soup (150cal)

I pretty much eat the same thing every single day!!

A lasagna i will re-heat in the microwaves! 430 calories. Love it.

Today -

- 1/2 WW Pita Sandwich with 1/2 cup of chicken salad (Homemade - chicken breast chunks and a little bit of ff mayo) and lettuce and tomato.

- 1 cup PC blue menu squash soup

I am a little concerned that if this is all I eat today, I'll be prone to snack, so I think I will walk to the grocery store at lunch and get some carrots or another snack. My breakfast was only ~215 cals and this lunch is only ~300.

I work about 7:30-4:30 myself :)

I broughtttttt....

7:30 Breakfast: 170cal Peanut butter granola bar

9:30 Snack: 140cal Baked Cheddar and Sour Cream Ruffles Chips

11:30 Lunch: 260cal Smart Ones meal (chicken enchilada supreme)

Yum! and still 630 calories left for a snack when I get home and dinner :)

I love packing lunches, especially when I have a good idea for something new! Today I have:

Snack 1: 1 oz cheese + 10 Kashi ranch crackers

Lunch: Two hard boiled eggs (mashed with some yolk remaining), mixed with green onion, salt, pepper, paprika, light mayo with baby spinach in a whole grain wrap + 1 pear and/or a Kashi chewy bar

Snack 2 (pre-gym): 1/2 cup cottage cheese with 1/2 mango

Snack 3 (post-gym): 1/2 whole grain bagel with jam + 1 cup chocolate soy milk

My lunch bag came with my gym bag! It's supposed to be a "wet bag" so you could put laundry in there but I have never used it for that purpose.

I am usually at work at 6:30 ( doesn't start till 7) and leave work anytime after 4:15 ( depending on patient care)

Breakfast: A yoplait fat free yogurt, fiber one bar

Snack: Apple, 90 cal snack pack

Lunch: South beach southwestern chicken wraps

Snack: Luna bar nutz over chocolate

wow a lot of people on here eat hardly anything and work out so much!!! I would starve. Anyways, today's menu: (I'm working an 11-8:30 shift for some OT)

B- Orowheat double fiber english muffin, 1 slice of part skim swiss cheese, one morningstar veggie sausage patty. (240 cals) small day today

S- Grande caramel skinny latte from starbucks (skinny= skim milk and SF syrup) (130 cals)

L- 1/2 cup oatmeal + EvoPro casein protein powder mixed into it (300 cals)

S- Half a PB and J sandwich w/ SF jam and Ezekiel wheat bread (140 cals)

D- 1/2 bottle Nake Juice Protein Zone (250 cals)

Pre-workout shake (230 cals)

Then post-workout shake (230 cals)
